DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London Kingston Upon Thames: what do users think?

Ian Lindsey: We often go here and the service is always great, particularly from Kenje. She always checks that we have everything we need and is very welcoming.Food & drinks: Great value and good quality breakfast.

Ali Al-Bayaa: The hotel is situated in a quiet area, with easy access to nearby commercial hubs. The event halls are capable of hosting a variety of ceremonies and events and the staff is attentive . The ground floor restaurant offers a pleasant international menu as well. There is also a public parking lot opposite to the hotel with ample parking spaces.

Marina Zaharia: Amazing experience at DoubleTree by Hilton in Kingston. The service was amazing and a big thank you to all the staff especially Iuliana who assisted us in a kind and friendly way at the restaurant.Walkability: The hotel is at a walkable distance from the town centre and from all the shops

Jenny S: for ~£20-£30 online, which worked perfectly for this stay and elsewhere so we were thankfully prepared.

Slim G: Service: 5/5

The Kingston 1: what do users think?

Julia Krone: Great hotel with very good decor , large rooms and modern bathroom. Pity the male manager has a poor attitude to service - the women were far more helpful and friendly.

Klaus Kreutzer: Quite centrally located hotel in Kingston. The rooms have been recently renovated and are furnished in a modern manner. Due to the heat we had to open the window at night, which was unfortunately a bit noisy. The breakfast selection is limited, but you can live with it.

Howard Walker: pub was atmospheric, with typically good Witherspoon ale pricesLocation: 5/5 …

Marissa Irons: I absolutely love the team here, I've been drinking here for over 10 years since it first opened, and the standard, service and cocktails have never slipped. Many times I've tried local cocktails in the area and nothing compares! The bar team namely Kamil and Nico are so talented, and the manager Igor is always so friendly and welcoming. So much so that I've always brought my business meetings here as well as my birthday parties pretty much every year. Nothing quite like a meeting over a cocktail or 2 😉I would highly recommend it 👌🏾 thanks for your awesome service guys! And don't forget their amazing happy hour every night from 5pm-8pm. And the mojito and martini night all night on a Thursday, totally worth it!! Food & drinks: The chef Marcello is fabulous and his signature tacos are delicious 😋 always such a warm welcome from him too such a great team!

Gulnara Wyshelesky: The location of the hotel is excellent, two minutes from a train station. Right in the city center. Two minutes to the main street with shops and cafes.Room for two was big enough, room was clean, with kettle and coffee machine. A large wardrobe. Large, clean bathroom. We asked for a quiet place and the room was really quiet.Normal breakfast, coffee, tea as much as you want. Pastries, vegetables, fruits, cereals, eggs. You will not leave hungry. There are no hot meals, but they didn't promise on the website either. Write continental breakfast. Getting to London is quite easy, trains leave every few minutes. Traveling by train is comfortable. Highly recommended, also convenient location, also very reasonable prices.

keri trigg: I stayed at hotel bosco 26-28 august and my overall rating is very good. The room we had was perfectly adequate with plush carpet, comfortable king size bed and excellent en-suite shower. Coffee machine as well as kettle and tea/coffee, iron and ironing board were also present. The room had good air con and triple glazed windows. The only things to improve could possibly be improved breakfast selection and perhaps better tv/channel choice. The location is perfect. Right next door to wetherspoons, and opposite pizza express and dominos!! Also surbiton rail station is a 2 minute walk. Customer service for us was 1st class. Only thing to consider is that Friday/Saturday nights there is loud music from bosco lounge and if you like us are directly above this then even with triple glazed windows it can be heard until 1am. Overall though I was very impressed

We would definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend it!Rooms: Our room was very nice. Plenty of space, nicely decorated, great bathroom, and comfortable bed.Walkability: About a 10 minute walk to the train station. A 5 minute walk to a large grocery store. 30 second walk from your room to the on-site restuarant which is delicious.Food & drinks: We ate at the on-site restuarant multiple times because it was so good. And breakfast was excellent and included with our room.

Alexander Pope Hotel: what do users think?

Nigel Owen: Service: 4/5

Jane Ljubuncic: As a regular patron of The Alexander Pope I must compliment Robin and his staff on always making me feel welcome and a valued customer. The staff always greet us warmly, remember our usual orders and no matter how busy it is on a rugby day, always take the time to make us feel special. Rugby days always have a special atmosphere here with many family enjoying the but outside these days it has a lovely family friendly feel to it.

Tricia Pitcher: Rooms: Comfortable and quirky, but sadly the lighting is very poor. It would have been good if one of the 4 lamps in our room had a brighter bulb.Clearer information about television would have been helpful. Remote control didn’t work unless the cupboard door was open.Walkability: Great location for walking the Thames Path to Richmond or Teddington and beyond, also to Strawberry Hill and Ham House.

john newman: Fantastic!!! I had a wonderful time at the hotel, I was there for the rugby so it was busy but such an electric atmosphere, the staff could t do enough for you and the service was excellent as was the food, considering how busy it got, there was a singer in the evening who got everyone singing along and it was such a party atmosphere!! So much fun!!! Will definitely be back!! Top classFood & drinks: Top class

Adam Smith: Met at the pope for drinks before the game, great drink selection had some burgers from the shack would recommend

Samantha: Te room, the service received and the food provided were excellent. We were made very welcome and I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone visiting Twickenham. On chatting with other guests we discovered that many of them staying at the same time were repeat visitors, some for many years.Rooms: Cosy

Anthony Shaw: Excellent stay rooms very good here very nice food and the staff brilliant top placeRooms: Very nice clean spacious

Lisa Wilson: We ended up wanting to be more central. The room was great nice size. The location in Twickenham was good very close to bus and train. We visited the lovely Strawberry Hill. The restaurant was always full would have liked to dine in on arrival day. We had a view of the River.Walkability: Walkable to trains and bus stop out front.

Richard Jenner: We've stayed at the Alexander Pope hotel on several occasions over the last 5 or 6 years and it is usually pretty good. Over that time, the rooms have been refurbished and they are well fitted and quite spacious with all the facilities you normally require for a short stay. On this occasion, the room had a few little issues like the TV not operating assimply as you might expect and one of the bedside drawers having a handle that was broken. Also the lighting in the room was quite low.But it was still a very pleasant short stay. The hotel is well located for access to all local facilities and just across theroad from the Thames. It has convenient basement car parking and all the staff are very helpful and pleasant. Also, the food is very good and there is an excellent choice of cooked breakfasts available which are freshly cooked and delivered to your table, which is quite unusual these days and a nice treat.Rooms: Very comfortable. There was a well stocked fridge/mini barNearby activities: Twickenham Stadium and the stoop for rugby fans, Kew Gardens is quite close tooSafety: Very safe and secure environment. Safe suppliedWalkability: Twickenham shopping centre is in walking distance and there is a short walk across the road to the Thames and a pleasant riverside walk.Food & drinks: Good choice, good quality and good value.Noteworthy details: The fridge and minibar.

The Lensbury Resort: what do users think?

Paul West: Enjoyed the stay. Great location, superb pool/gym.Nice bar and breakfast area.Easy free parking.Busy. And lots going on, but easy to find a quiet spot.Sports on TV in the bar...but in a subtle way.

ibthedon: Good hotel with nice pool and sauna, however, the staff who stand at the front of the hotel were slightly rude.Service: 3/5 …

Teddy Hsu: in the mini fridge and that was really lovely. Check in was efficient

A Faminial Linton: This hotel resort is in a terrific location for business activities near Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames and Richmond. Our stay is business and pleasure. The restaurant area could possibly be more initimate. It gives a pub-ish vibe. The breakfast team is very hospitable and appeared delighted to be doing their work. The spa team is ace. Hope, Justine and Catherine are angels in disguise. I booked a massage, facial treatment and manicure. The treatments were very relaxing, of excellent quality and just perfect. Again, the spa team appeared to love the work they do that it comes across as warm, welcoming and beautiful service. I will be back.

Spike Mclarrity: I have been driving past Warren house for years until recently a friend mentioned to me about its existence. I drive from Barnes to Kingston regularly. I have never driven up the private road.I decided to bring my partner and two friends for Christmas afternoon tea. The time we chose to come was quiet. It's a very beautiful old house steeped in history. 🏠Everything was freshly made, the service was perfect Staff were attentive. They helped to make the experience special. Food, decor, and atmosphere were spot on.We were shown the hotel and the garden. It was night 🌙 but was treated to a beautiful light display. ✨️I can't believe what l have been missing all these years. Thank you for helping me to create a lovely experience for my guests.

Ree: We recently had our unit’s Christmas party here and Warren house welcomed each and every guest with warmth and professionalism. All staff were accommodating, and sincerely helpful in everything. The food served that night was also very delicious and all meals were presented beautifully. Thank you!

Eda Tekiroglu: , perfect service. Certainly will be back again to try also dinner. Note that it is hard to get a reservation, therefore requires advance planning.+As promised, had dinner at another time. Still good food/location/service. The menu is not special to come back for.

Catalin Gaman: Step into Petersham Restaurant and you'll feel like you've been transported to the heart of England. The cozy, traditional atmosphere and classic British menu create a warm and inviting experience. It's no wonder it's a favorite among both locals and visitors looking for a taste of authentic English cuisine with a touch of sophistication. All the staff was very friendly and efficient.

Jamila Din: Stayed overnight here and the service was super friendly and efficient. Parking was easy and the location is amazing- walking distance to the main shops and the park. The room was clean and well stocked but the standard double room felt quite claustrophobic which ruined my sleep a bit. When I checked out, a lovely gentleman at reception offered me the room to shower in after my run which I really appreciated as well.Nearby activities: Richmond Park and mainly High Street nearby.

Ben Murray-Smith: Genuinely beautiful. Lovely food!

stephen gaccon: was. only there for a reception. exceptional. service and buffet. lovely balcony room and view.Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view …

Simon Butler: We just called in for a drink, very welcoming and friendly staff. We will be back to stay overnight sometime soon.Service: 5/5 …

B Victor Nyamdavaa: I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Petersham hotel in Richmond park with my mum and daughter, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. We stumbled upon this hidden gem in the afternoon and were immediately captivated by its charm and elegance. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the traditional English afternoon tea. The cozy environment and picturesque view of the Thames River from our window seat made the experience even more special. As we indulged in the delectable treats and sipped on our tea, we couldn't help but appreciate the attention to detail and the impeccable service provided by the staff. One unique aspect of The Petersham hotel that caught our attention was the display of pictures of famous visitors along with the dates of their visits. It was fascinating to see the history and the stories behind the hotel's esteemed guests. It added an extra layer of intrigue and made us feel like a part of something truly special. The overall ambiance of The Petersham hotel was warm and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable afternoon. stan somerford: We went to the. New Years Eve Dinner. After a very welcoming welcome we were guided into an exquisite lounge area where we indulged in one of their many available cocktails, once comfortably relaxed we were shown to our table, from then on everything was perfect the staff were attentive without being over the top and accommodated our every need, even where I said that I could not have Grapefruit the course was changed without question, and overall the menu and flavours were faultless, and can't wait to return to try again,we had a wonderful evening and if I did have to find fault it would only be that as it was New Year's Eve and even though the entertainment was first class,it would have been the icing on the cake if there had been even a small area to of had a dance and see in the New year.It dose seem a shame that now days there are less and less venues where couples can not only have an excellent meal but also have the extra pleasure of a dance to make a complete evening out.never the less thankyou for a. wonderful evening.Food & drinks: Excellent

Emile Brand: This was our second time staying and we always love it. We had the privilege of staying in the tower room with a lovely balcony to see amazing views of the river and fireworks on NYE.Rooms: The stayed one night in a junior suite - this had the biggest bed and a lovely little balcony as well. The second night we stayed in the tower room - this had the great view and an amazing bathroom and bath, definitely not recommended for people with mobility problems as there are a lot of stairs but 100% to anyone able to do it. We will definitely do the tower room again.
