    Our playcare centre can cater for children from 0 to 8 years inclusive and may stay for a maximum of 4 hours unless otherwise stated. Restrictions and length of stay apply to children 0-2 years, The age restriction does not apply to children attending any parent and toddler groups.

    Parents and Guardians leaving their children in the playcare centre will be made aware of out strict security procedures. "Safe Child Scheme" operates within The Bentall Centre. For more information, visit www.bentallcentre.co.uk

    There is also a free babycare centre alongside the playcare centre, where parents can feed or nappy change their infants in comfort and total privacy. A nursery nurse is available for assistance if required, and all babycare items are available to parents on request at no charge.

    The World of Children playcare centre have the right to refuse admission to any child or adult if it is considered detrimental, in any way, to the safety and smooth running of the Children's playcare centre or the Babycare centre.

    All our staff are fully qualified in childcare and first aid.

    Craig Stone: Amazing place owned by good people. Loads of toys, lots of space. A great staff to kid ratio. Qualified staff too.My daughter, Rosy, loves this place.Cheaper than a nursery, less kids than a nursery, more staff than at a nursery. Plus, there's a coffee shop right next door. So parents can drop their kid/s off and have a break, with the peace of mind of knowing they're just next door.My daughter plays there, one time she got a bit upset 'cos she was tired, and the staff called me immediately to let me know. So, even if by some random chance your kid doesn't settle, they call you right away.It's a great 'pre-nursery/school' space to play with your kid, and then slowly build up to leaving for 5minutes, then 10minutes, etc.The kids are safe and closely monitored/played with.The owner Sue has been working with children for many years, so knows what she's doing. I've personally seen Sue settle crying children in minutes; turning kids who initially miss their mummy, into kids happily interacting with the toys and other children.I've also seen Sue settle kids who are slightly more hectic, integrating them with skill into the space; to the great benefit of the child/children.Highly recommended.

    Garden House Nursery Schools - Kingston: what do users think?

    Jemma Theivendran: are just brilliant as are all the other staff who work there and I am so grateful for the care they provide and all the activities they arrange which means, as a parent, I feel reassured that my son is safe, happy and stimulated throughout the day.

    Kirsty Wing: Our little boy joined Garden House Nursery in Kingston at 11 months and was there until recently when we moved away as a family 18m later. He settled in very quickly with its home from home environment and loved to spend time in the garden where they engaged his love for all things footballs and bikes. All the staff are professional but friendly, and were very caring and attentive to his needs and he developed so much with them - he loved every minute, never looking back at the door. We were all very sad to leave and have special thanks to Naomi, Annie and Tom - all who he still speaks about now.

The staff at the nursery made her settle in process very easy & smooth, and she has formed a strong bond with them ever since, which is a testament to the environment that’s created at Garden House. The facilities are great and she loves the garden, and Louise the manager was very accommodating with our family situation due to unforeseen circumstances. The staff are great, if staff turn-over could also be reduced it would be perfect.

Settling in was done sensitively and very well, and we get the distinct impression that he was cared for, loved and made to feel safe when he is there. Tom, Annie, and Naomi in particular have fostered a great relationship with our family. We love that we get daily updates through the EYLog App to see what he’s been up to during the day and how he’s hitting developmental milestones. The activities that are set out for him are done with his interests in mind to allow him to engage as well as he can. We can see he has the run of the whole garden, the house, and has regular snacks and health meals when he’s there. It’s also one of the few nurseries in the area that cover our working hours. We couldn’t be more pleased.
