The Ginger Cat House Rescue: what do users think?

Lara Alexander: Really friendly interaction with staff

Ritoo Jenjani: I was really stressed until yesterday, a stray cat often visits us at our house , yesterday she gave birth in my garden to five kittens. The mother cat also was very young maybe just 9months old . I was very worried for cat and her babies. Then I called Ginger cat centre, June was so helpful, she sent a very experienced volunteer to get cat and kittens from my house , it was a long drive for Steve , but he car in real time . Very carefully handled the cat and babies, and took them to June . God bless them . Really doing noble work.

Sally Emden: Extraordinarily brilliant rescue run by the amazing June who puts her heart into every rescue she can help.

Simon Norman: We now have 2 beautiful rescue kittens thanks to GCH . I cannot fault their comittment to helping abandoned and surrendered cats.

Jackie Durrant: What can I say , June and her volunteers do an amazing job , one of the best rescues I know . Caring people doing a brilliant job .

Laura Cunningham: When I lost my mum I had to rehome her cat due to having 2 family members who had asthma an allergies. Loosing my mum let alone having to let go of the last living thing connected to her was the worst time in my life. The ginger cat house rescue were very understanding spoke to me about what they do an advised that trying to rehome an older cat is very hard. Without there care and help my mums cat may of sadly of been put to sleep if I had handed him into somewhere else an I would never of known. The ginger cat house have found him a home an I get regular updates on how he is pictures too. Seeing him live due to their care makes me feel like my mum is living through her cat. This is a registered charity an any help even if its a bag of cat litter I know will be appreciated.

Julie Edwards: , people whose whole lives revolve around caring for these animals!

Jacqui Edwards: June does an amazing job dedicating her whole life to the cats. She loves them all unconditionally . She makes sure they get the right homes both for the cats and the adopters. They are so well looked after with vet checks, treatment and most of all love. Fabulous!

Christine Fitzgerald: - she follows their settling in and always wants to know the cats are having their best life. I have nothing but admiration for this wonderful woman - and her team of volunteers and fosterers.

Kittyy Kaat: This lovely house took in some new borns a while back my cat had and sadly we could not keep! I felt very happy leaving them as I knew full well they would be loved, looked after and found the perfect home

Hounslow Animal Welfare Society: what do users think?

Emily Snowdon: We adopted our second house rabbit Poca from HAWS during the coronavirus pandemic. Lu couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive throughout the bonding and adoption process, especially given the lockdown restrictions. We would highly recommend HAWS if you are looking to adopt an animal.

Tina Simmons: Adopted our fur baby Cleo last October

Katie h: I've had my boy for over 5 years and he has brought me endless joy. HAWS are an incredible charity who want to help pets find their forever home. We were carefully better before I adopted my kitten and given a few to look at. It felt like HAWs cared for the cats welfare and making sure the owner got the right pet for them. Thank you for giving me a buddy for life.

Robert Pincott: Very helpful more so than other Rehoming sites

Bal Soorae: This is truly a lovely charity. I recently adopted a pair of rabbits and one of them had some challenges adopting to a new environment and both HAWS and the foster carer have been nothing but supportive and helpful through the process and communicated with me regularly.

NBL1VE: They came and rescued many stray cats from my area which took up residence in my garden. Those that could be adopted were put up for adoption and the rest were neutered and bought back which is fine by me. We now have 3 cute cats living in our garden which we bought small houses for and which live happily

Icestorm Tundra: . They were super helpful and helped us pick the perfect cat for our family, and we kept in contact with the foster-er for a while afterwards. Mia passed away 20.12.19 at the age of 17/18 years surrounded by those who loved her. A sincere thank you to the Hounslow Animal Welfare Society for rescuing our baby girl and giving her 16 more years of life than she would have had otherwise.- Rowan

Natalie Wiltshire-Grundy: Haws helped us find our gorgeous fur baby kittens - very professional 😻

Cats Protection - Mitcham Homing Centre: what do users think?

pauline cox: Couldn't have been more helpful. Staff are lovely and really care for the cats. We'll done all will visit again

Krystele: Very helpful and caring people. The premises are clean and well organised. Highly recommend for cat lovers.

Janet Medar: Very friendly and knowledgeable a great place if you are looking to rehome a 🐈

ImHereToDunk: DISCLAIMER: I did not adopt any cat from them. I did not buy any food from them. I am writing this review to describe a very wholesome interaction. The food I often buy for my cat comes with different types of meat ranging from chicken and beef all the way to salmon and tuna in a single box. My cat seemed to like most of the food but wouldn't touch some of it like whole shrimp. At first, I was throwing away what she didn't like, but I felt really bad doing it as I knew there are cats out there that could enjoy the food. At one point, I was about to throw away another batch of food when an idea came to me: 'why not try to find a place that will take the food as a donation?'. After searching for some time, I found this place on google maps. I looked at the reviews for a bit, liked what I saw and decided to give them a call. A robot answered and after pressing the needed buttons, I was waiting for a worker to pick up. It was almost closing time, so after waiting for about 30 seconds, the robot told me to send a voicemail as nobody was available at this time. I sent a voicemail with every detail I wrote above in this review and waited. The next morning around 10:00AM, I received a call and after a few minutes of chatting, during of which I was told that I could come as soon as possible to donate the food, I got ready and left my flat. Upon arriving at Cats Protection - Mitcham, I was greeted in a friendly manner and even though I wasn't there to look for a cat to adopt, the worker in charge showed me around and talked to me about the cats. The cats had plenty of water, food, toys and even cat trees to play around in. Besides the warm environment they were kept in, they also had plenty of extra blankets to sleep on.Throughout my visit, I was treated very well and was even allowed to sit down inside while waiting for a cab to take me back home. Before I left to get in the cab, I was told I could come again to donate more food whenever I could. I left the place with a smile on my face both due to the experience I've had but also because I had done something good.Even though I didn't adopt a cat from them myself, based on my experience donating the food and the reviews I've seen, I would highly recommend for you to check this place out if you're looking to bring a new furry friend into your life.

samcooke67: Lovely lady on the phone.. very helpful

Funky Knotting: , for calling me back almost in the end of your working hours about injured stray cat that is looking for help, for all information you gave and such understanding of the situation he's in. Was very pleased, even though your rescue is full and you couldn't help with the place from him. But attention matters too. Thank you all for your goodness. We need more people like you and thanks to all volunteers.

Marilyn Russell: We took cat bowls and old clean towels to the Mitcham branch and were lucky to be shown around. So many beautiful cats needing a forever home, through no fault of their own. Older cats surrended by their owners, who either passed away or in care homes, very confused wondering where their families were. There were younger ones there too, all looking for a new home. All the staff were amazing, volunteering their time to help in anyway they can. The building was clean and comfortable, all separate cubicle for the cats beautifully clean. They just so desperately need new homes to go to.

Lorraine Schot: The ladies working here were really good. They were really friendly and understanding and I would recommend this place to anybody. If you can spare something to donate please do, it's for a great cause.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home: what do users think?

Noel Kennedy: Battersea have been great with giving me regular updates and photos of dogs for adoption.Even if you don't adopt consider throwing them a few bob for the great job they are doing saving these pets lives.

Taz Richards: Lovely friendly staff who really seem to care about the animals.

HONEST BLOGGER: Amazing people .amazing cause.... but my only negative Alison Hammond really .... i wont be watching anymore... bad move

Darren Dickenson: I can’t say enough how welcoming and wonderful the staff were from the first telephone conversation to picking our boy up at Battersea. When we arrive at Battersea we sat down and met him and discussed what his needs were. And ithe care for ALL the animals where great.Battersea are 100,000 times better thanCat Protection who sadly where more interested in the making a profit than they are of the concerns for there animals, I say that after we had a bad experience with them.

Jon Megan: Our dog got out and ended up at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Got to say all staff were brilliant and our dog was well looked after until we could pick him up after the necessary checks. This institution is unsurpassable in the service it offers. Long may it continue. Thank you staff and supporters.

Charlotte Godfrey (Char): From start to finish, the staff at Battersea have been absolutely amazing and the most superb customer service has been provided to us. I cannot fault them at all.We have just adopted our baby girl Presh who is an 8 year old Tuxedo cat. We fell in love with her straight away via their website and registered our interest, within days I had signed up for a call back with Paige who was very supportive and attentive and confirmed Presh seemed like the perfect match for our family.Every call I have had with Battersea, from the initial getting to know you call, to the consultation with the vet and a call with the nurse to discuss vaccinations etc - we have been met with utter professionalism and their love and passion is clear in everything they do. The staff are so friendly and polite on the phone too.I couldnt recommend adopting a pet through Battersea any more, they have made this process even more beautiful for us. They are even always there for advice after you adopt your pet which I find very helpful.Thank you Battersea for making our house a home ❤️

Goodness Ibekwe: Omw! One of the most beautiful towns ever seen here!
