Boots Pharmacy: what do users think?
dave Byrne: I’m not sure what her name is, but I think it’s Jahnave(?), she is excellent. Whenever I have a prescription to pick up, she is the only one who will actually phone me and let me know it’s ready to be picked up.
M J: I'd give it less if I could. I've been here three times, and every time has been a disaster. For context, I arrived as 'number one' in the queue, and they have somehow lost my paperwork in the 70 mins I've waited (to be continued). At least it wasn't the two hours I waited last time (yet). I'd argue this sort of medieval service should be illegal inside a hospital.
domm vinci: Got completely different name in my bag
Carla C: Having travelled an hour to get there for an item which showed on the website ' in stock' , the item was not available and was not in stock. I explained to the staff member that the website needs to be updated to reflect this. Bad service from seemingly disinterested staff.Be warned - No Day Nurse!
K Hitchcock: What a shambles why doesn't senior management come and sort this out? Long long wait times, 2 queues that are not necessarily clear to people what they are....how can it take so long to just pick up prescription drugs!!!
San: Something very wrong with this establishment. Waited 40 mins for 2 items and told to come back in the afternoon for the second medicine. Came back and was told I would need to request it again from my doctor. They could have called me.
Bianca Kau: 2h for a medication, staff completely lost and lazy. So sad to see so many people waiting in pain, like me, for a medicine
Noronha Savio: Waste of time in this pharmacy
Connor Lovell: Really poorly run! No clear idea of where and how the queuing system works, slow progress which left ill and sick people having to stand up. Why it takes so long when other pharmacies elsewhere are much much quicker I do not know...
Mohammed Miah: Pathetic place, extremely long wait!
Naseer Yousafzai: Very very disappointing waiting for more then two hours just 3 people was before me in the ticket, Slow motion staff & very ignorant people working there not even answering the phones 📞 I wish I could give them a double zero but unfortunately I can’t ,
Stuart Broadbent: The staff are lovely and in my experience always professional and apologetic about the wait. Had to use this pharmacy about a dozen times this years and never queued for less than half an hour, worst was 2 hours but that was particularly busy that day in outpatients department. There is always some confusion with members of the public not knowing which lines to join, once you inside the pharmacy it has 2 clear signs but outside there is just a long queue that people naturally join only to find out when they get to the front they are in the wrong queue. Better signage outside the pharmacy would help and also signage explaining the process and the ticketing service as if your prescription sent to the pharmacy you assume you can pick up. But atlas you still need to join the queue to obtain a ticket then head to the waiting area. As mentioned the staff have always been good with me and it is a particularly busy due to location but some better organisation by boots would make the experience much better for members of the public and a much less stressful environment for their staff
Becca R: Really awful. Feel so sorry for the staff that work there. It’s the worst system I’ve ever experienced. Wait over an hour for ticket number then queue for another 40 minutes to collect. No consideration for people unable to sit / stand for that length of time. Left without needed medication and staff unable to provide any solution. Sad.
Vincent Aries: Had an hour long wait for simple prescription. Some waited more than I did, only old patient really needed help in the queue but staff was cold to anyone needs and plights..
Vanessa cole: Way too busy. Anytime you go there are very long queues of unwell people down the corridor. Avoid if you can
silvia h: If you need to collect from this Boots pharmacy make sure you have time to spare. Only one pharmacist is serving two queues and it takes ages.
James McWhinnie: Abysmally run; elderly people, pregnant women and people unable to stand left to queue for the better part of an hour.People in wheelchairs abandoned awaiting service in the aisles of the store. No clear delineation between queues. Only one computer open to process prescriptions with a slow member of staff.Over an hour wait to get prescriptions, what is taking so long?
George Nesaraj: Very poor service, have to wait in a queue for 30 minutes last Saturday to be told that they couldn'ttrack my pricription, phoned today and it's still not ready .I have asked them to transfer it to new malden branch
Marushka Rodrigues: Really sad there is a long queue where you wait for an hour to give your details and another long queue to collect your medicine The staff are so slow. It's a hospital pharmacy with many patients so should have more working staff and should be efficient very sad the way they work
Justin Mathew: I am in the que for an hour , one of the worse que in my life ever. You have to be on que two times, collect the token and to collect the medicine. Could some please release this deadlock and help the valurable people?
C'est la Vie: Very hard working staff
