Currys: what do users think?
Донка Богоева: Wide selection of technology, electronics, electrical appliances for the home. Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant atmosphere
Deboifrager: its a currys pc world, whats there to say
David Henton: Absolutely appalling ! Yesterday went to Shannon Corner at New Malden to buy four appliances. Vacuum. Toaster. George Foreman. Coffee machine. Waited to get service. Standing there the middle of the shop for at least half hour. The only attention I got was that of the security guard. They had about six staff on duty but all with a customer but how long can a person spend with one customer ? It was not just me pacing around there were others. Even worker at till saw one customer with one small appliance and he was still going after twenty minutes or more. Then I decided to butt in and just say to one I want a vacuum on display but there is no box underneath, do they have them in the back. He just said if it's not there then I need to order it online. I mean why have a big store when a person at a desk will do. Like Argos! Then I decided to just pick up the coffee machine which had the boxes underneath the display just in time for a woman to serve at the returns counter. Boy was she miserable and abrupt to say the least. The ONLY person who deserves credit that day was the security guard. Happy and alert and tried to be helpful. Honestly it was like there is no management there at all. If I spent that much time having chit chats with one customer without moving on to the next I would be hauled in and given poor performance notice !
Rob Clare: I had the best time looking at tvs with my mum. She bought a little jvc 24 inch for the kitchen. Staff were friendly but getting to pay was a little slow. Cashiers could be quicker.
Keith Galloway: Was able to get what I needed.
Greg Walker: I went here on 21/5 for a microwave (near the back of the store). There were plenty of staff and it was not very busy. It seems that unless you are buying a commissionable item, no one offers to help.We took the 12 kg Kenwood microwave to the front, walked past a few staff and after carrying the 12kg to the till, there was 1 till open with 1 customer served, so I was happy to wait and rest my arms. Then the staff I walked past 15 meters earlier suggested I can pay back there, but I was happy to wait and rest. The customer service desk, 20 meters to the left, then really insisted they could help even though I was happy to wait. Maybe the optic of me waiting wasn’t good so I picked up my 12 kg microwave because no one offered, and processed the purchase but I was prioritised over a couple who were already at the desk waiting to be served. By this stage the original till was free. I then carried the microwave back through the till I was originally waiting at, carrying the 12 kg microwave a total of 50 meters more than needed as this is the only wat to exit, past security, with no offer of help. The car park is a bit poor too as we saw 3 cars parked skewed taking up double the bays, but no one at Currey’s would care because they are all hovered at their work stations, chatting not helping customers.
Ben Brooks: Great electronics and loads of option's 👌🏽✔️
Fat Tbastard: Did not go here was recycling clothes
neda barez: Anthony my sales man was fantastic today at curry’s new Malden . Although he had finished his shift he stayed behind 20 min after closing time to conclude the sale. Super polite, helpful and knowledgable regarding all electrical products. Good experience . Thank you Anthony
David Meyerowitz: I was looking to buy a new went to Currys website and found a laptop at a price i was happy to pay. Didn't buy the laptop online as I have a Currys near where i live. Went in store and found the laptop i wanted, confirmed it matched the product code as the laptop online. When i asked the staff about purchasing the laptop it was £100 more than what it was online. The explanation we got was it must be a promotion that must of ended. We asked if we buy the laptop online, Can we walk out with the laptop now. To which the staff said yes. So we did that. We bought the laptop online and selected to collect it from the store. When we approached the staff to let them know that I've bought the laptop online and we would like the laptop now. The staff said it would be available later in the week in store. If you're looking for any I.T products, dont waste your time coming to this store.
Teresa Davies: If i could give this place a minus i would i payed for my goods & their banking system didnt wxcept but it came out of my bank i had to pay again & was told i would have to wait 5 days for the money to go back in sorry kids no food this week !!!!!
richard newman: so quick visit to curry new malden the store was empty so I throught I would go in quick get the item I wanted after looking around other places curry was the cheapest .no staff to be found except one members of staff looked like part of management with grey hair and glasses standing looking in to space asked a female for help on tills might as well as spoken to the wall she then called over the guy well I might have just gone else where could not be bothered to help or go and look for the items did not even try and help if this guy is part of managerment god help me in the end I just walked out as they would rather just all stand together and have a chat then help the customers
Shuile: If ever you wish to buy large appliances ask for Martin’s assistance. Very knowledgeable and listens to customers. Most of the staff are always asking for his advice so must be a marvellous mentor.
John Butler: Good range of toasters but not a Biriani in sight
Jordan Raymond: Merton currys store uk on right of the photo on nice sunset evening 19th of April 2023 and if like FOLLOW, LIKE & SHARE thx enjoy.
Lewis Gravatt: Appalling.
Steve Carne: Ita a large electronic shop what more can you say.
T J: Probably only Currys we have visited that's normal. Guy that helped us knew his stuff
Angela Attwood: Assistant said they had two in stock, disappeared for ages and when he came back they didn't have any. suggested I ordered on line
Malcolmn Gray: Found everything you need in well marked up needed no help to find anything although short staffed.
Sheila Lilley: Always got what I go for
