Musical U: what do users think?
Dwight Long: I love how you really concentrate on the fundamentals in music. I feel like I am getting a firm foundation. I have learned so many really useful skills in the pitch and rhythm modules of the Foundations course so far !!
Mitchell White: I was skeptical for a long time. I finally took the plunge, and in just three months I'm thinking about and playing music in ways I couldn't imagine. My journey is accelerating as I confidently add piano and ukulele. This place is magical!
Tracy warnock: Musical U has been a joy . I took a fantastic course with them this year, and i feel like i am a born again musician . There is so much on their site , and i would recommend them to anyone .Thank you so much Musical U team !!....
Dahlia Bayoumi: Musical U taught me a new way of learning and thinking about music
Jim Hayes: I was fortunate to find Musical U on the internet while searching for online resources for studying music theory. I am currently enrolled in the Circle of Fifths Mastery Course. The material is thorough and well presented. I particularly appreciate the quick response to questions. I am sure that I will continue to take other courses offered by Musical U on the future. I highly recommend MU.
Duane Gallaher: A great place for learning and community for support. You are a musician so this is where you belong.
Marcia Marino: I have completed Foundations of a Musical Mind 1 and 2, Musical Superlearning, and three Seasons of Living Music with Musical U. I am thrilled with what I'm learning: a musical mindset, improv, playing by ear, a sharpened ear for music, and a thoroughly revitalized daily practice. In addition to all the wonderful teachers, I've been impressed by Pros who meet with us monthly, staff who are available around the clock to answer questions, and a Musical U student community who are both fun and supportive. I'm grateful to be a member of Musical U!
T Hackenberg: I am in the Foundations class and it has been very interesting. I have learned a lot but there is still some "nature" involved because I am still unable to count out those beats, especially when a 3/4 or 4/4 beat changes pace and I still can't rhythm out a 6/8 beat. I started this class because I have become the director for our tiny church choir. The class has helped but it hasn't solved. I also enjoyed, and got a lot from, the Circles intro. I'm not done learning and I still have to complete my Foundations class.
Boitumelo Mmela: This is the best site for learning music online been with Musical U for the past three months and my vocals have improved immensely. I highly recommend for beginners and advanced musicians because you can never know enough and they have enough to suit your needs.
Colin Samuels: Superb teaching resource fun and professional. I have learned a lot from them
Delbert Burhans: I joined Musical U over a year ago. I gained so much knowledge and essential training to get my musical experiences a huge boost forward. I would have surely floundered a lot and been held back if I didn't get the knowledge I did from Musical U. The team there are so helpful. They love music and are very committed to sharing the dream for new music artists. Blessings.
Ken Siskind: Great course. I just started Active Listening and within a week I’m already hearing things in music that I never noticed before. This will help both my own enjoyment of music and improve my own playing. There’s so much content and at the same time it’s fun to learn in a different way. Highly recommend Musical U, you won’t be disappointed.
Giovanni Biego di Costa Bissara: I took some stand-alone course (Ear training for beginners, Improv immersion, Musical Superlearning) and was happy with the quality of the instruction. But when I joined Living Music I discovered a whole new dimension in musicality training: I just completed the Autumn Season and the experience was simply amazing! The thing I valued most is the "convergent learning" concept.
Mary Grace McCaffery: Nine months ago, I started a program that Musical U offers called Living Music from the inside out. It is an incredible music program! The program is broken up into Seasons which last 3 months each. So far I have completed 3 of the Seasons and getting ready to start the last one for the year. Each season concentrates on different parts of music such as improv, rhythm, ear training, etc. so you can jump in at any season as they are interrelated but not required. Plus thru every season you learn about different songs & genres and their parts and how they all come together as a whole. After 9 months of the Living Music Program this week I was able to write a 25 bar song and understand every part of what I was doing to produce it. This is extremely exciting for me! If you are serious about wanting to play and understand what you are doing in your musical journey this would be a great program for you. The community is strong and the team is always available to answer any questions you have plus they have approximately 4 to 5 live zoom workshops and Q&A sessions that you can attend live or watch as a replay.
Mike Hampson: Absolutely life changing. The educational skill of the team is tremendous and the material is totally absorbing. The results are also surprisingly good I think! Why hesitate, join now.
Adebimpe Kadiri: As one of the privileged persons taught at musical U, my experience has been both revealing and exciting. Due to the extensive teaching offered at this institution, I've learnt key elements of music and what it takes to be a musician. To be honest Musical U has a unique style of teaching.
Carolyn Smith: Great resource. Particularly found the corse on Superlearning very helpful. Use the techniques daily. I also enjoyed the course on learning to improvise. It gave a new and freer relationship with my violin.
Toby L: Musical U is a great (and easy) way to take your music to a new level!
Steven68: A fantastics place to learn and grow musically with lots to learn from the musical u team with frequent workshops from industry pros. The comunity is completely non-judgemental and very supportive. Best of all you get to meet and work with musicians from around the world.
Klaudia Horváth: A good place to learn about music, ear training and music theory. For a montly fee, there is access to a lot of detailed online courses, including personal help.
Mal: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI've been a member for over two years and have really learned a lot. All of the courses that I have taken have been very educational and everyone has been very helpful. It just keeps getting better and better.
