Laleham Camping Club: what do users think?
Mark Davis: Arrived to be met with a very happy wee wumman who was very accommodating and chatty. Pitch was nice grass cut to a good length. Clean toilet blocks with brilliant rain showers that felt great. I would reccommend for a very great price.
Kirsty Fraser: Great campsite, showers were very hot and there were facilities to wash your dishes. Highly recommended!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Steff Davis: Perfect campsite!Great pitches, nice hard standing with short grass. Owner was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Toilets are high standard, clean and tidy with plug sockets for shavers/hair driers/ straighteners. Overhead rain showers give a luxurious feel with lovely warm water included in the very modest £15pn. There is a kitchen area with three double sinks, washers and driers (extra charge) a toaster and a kettle! Campsite is right on the Thames and there is lovely parakeets in the trees! All in all a perfect trip!
Tom Gough: What a great find! Great location right by the river Thames, showers were hot and good facilities for washing your dishes. We were allowed to stay all afternoon the next day to enjoy the sun. Will definitely be back!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Philip Littlefield: Nice camp
Brett Meese: Lovely site, brilliant location right next to the River Thames. Site staff friendly and couldn’t do enough. This place is a hidden gem and the toilets and showers very clean and water red hot. This will be a regular place to visit for us.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Likes To Travel: I couldn't book online and just called for the reservation without any email or anything for confirmation I felt a bit "naked".But entering was no problem. Only the lady didn't want to take my older money although it still was perfectly valid :-/The campsite has a super handy setup where the RVs/vans are arranged around a circle with the playground in the middle so I could easily watch my little one play and have ease of mind.Facilities were clean, maybe not super modern, but they don't have to be.
Andreas Mensen: Alles sauber und in der Nacht ruhigPlayground: VorhandenRestrooms: Sauber .Duschen sauber.Dog-friendliness: Dürften mit draufPicnic area: Vorhanden und auch ein kleiner Laden.
Teresa Swinford: Good value for money. Clean shower block, wash room etc. Simple but friendly site. Amazing ladies that run the site. Highly recommend to everyone. I've loved my stay here
Rossco: Shocking condition of a campsite. Toilet block was absolutely disgusting and clearly wasn’t cleaned more than once a week. Booked in to the site well in advance and was quoted £70ish and when we arrived she said it was over £100 as they had noted the dates wrong and asked for more money which was an issue in itself because they only accepted cash. The site was nearly empty and they were militant about where we placed our tents (which was in a part of ground that was just mud and not grass). Owners were extremely rude to us on arrival when politely asking where I can park the car. Which is in an obscure car park miles away from our tent. The site was blessed with the stench of the old devils lettuce as well so that was nice. Right under a flight path as well which understandably isn’t under their control but worth bearing in mind.Honestly for the price of the site vs the quality of what you get it’s really not great. Ignoring the attitude of the owners. Would absolutely not recommend.
Silke Rademaker: nice campside very friendly personal always someone to speak to if you need help we will be coming back again
Rachel Beacher: Not bad the staff are happy to help. The only thing was the toilet block was not in great condition and full of cobwebs and spiders . Great location next to the Thames for boating and swimming.
Richard Smith: Great location. It could be so wonderful. But the shower facilities are too small for the site. So are overused and therefore a bit grotty.
Matt Woodley: Very rude and sarcastic owners run down toilets with spider webs dominant all over i reported a wasps nest but got told basically what did I want them to do about it as they don't deal with wasps or nests certainly won't be back even cut holiday short due to this don't go here
liam rickard: Cheap, good facilities and very close to the Thames. Docking a star because the owner is so unbelievably grumpy it really doesn't start your weekend away on a positive note dealing with someone like that
RTM TM: Perfect location even to visit London. Nice environment and villages around.Ladies running the camping are unhelpfull and very unfriendly.Expensive and dirty toillets
Rebecca Moor: The owner is quite militant and not at all friendly. Moaning about everything. Didn’t allow us showers after swimming as we were half an hour after checking out time. No need for that. Had to drive home damp.Nice location though on river Thames. Facilities ok too. Make sure you park in their car park and not the one next door which you have to pay for. Not sure why you can’t keep car by your tent?
Ian Cooper: Arrived and was met by an EXTREMELY rude old woman called Maggie, who was obviously in a foul mood before we opened our mouthed. no help what so ever, flat out refused any entry and told us the half empty site was closed due to no room, even though there clearly was a mass of spaces. Actively turned away business in a very rude way and said that she and the warden had no control over bookings or website details. Why would any business want this type of welcome for customers. We have a 21 plate motorhome, 2 normal people, not like we were turning up in a scrap heap or towing a 1970s caravan that was falling to pieces.Horrible woman as a gate keeper. Avoid.
leewevs: Just stayed 2 nights when coming back from Newquay to break up journey and visited Legoland. This was one of those places I was just intrigued to see other peoples reviews after my stay. I don’t normally write reviews as it’s normally down to own personal experiences and may not reflect your stay. The two ladies who run it seem nice enough. The site is very uneven with the old sleeping policeman to keep your speed down however the track around the site does that in its own right. The actual plots seem flat enough without causing to much of a problem. The electric hook up wasn’t upto much as our kettle kept tripping the electrics- admittedly it was a household one and not a camping one. The kids play area was ok as long as it wasn’t wooden as everything that was seems to be deteriorated. Didn’t use chemical waste area but seemed ok. No grey water disposal- just empty onto the ground. In fairness the grass needed a good water but feel that the next person who camps on my plot doesn’t really want to see the remains of last nights dinner as minor as it maybe. The showers seem clean and showers nice and hot. Occasionally got a whiff of a sweet herb smell if the wind was blowing in the right direction and my 6yr old kept on saying “that’s the smell again daddy- what is it?” Which I replied “someone’s growing some ‘erb” which was amusing. Bikes are not allowed to be riden on site due to safety however a few wooden apparatus in the childrens play area are a “claim up” waiting to happen and due to no vehicles onsite unnecessarily I couldn’t see a problem- but rules are rules. The site location is great for legoland and Thorpe park and right on the banks of the Thames. Feel the site however needs a bit of money spent on it as feel nothing has been done since the 90s. I did read a review about the biting ants left 3 yrs ago and confirm that they are still present. Aftercoming back after a day at Legoland found an Army of them making themselves at home with the missus frantically trying to swat them with the tea towel- which did amuse me untilshe turned her attention on me for laughing at her. On the whole I probably wouldn’t stay here again and if some investment was poored into the site I believe it would be a goldmine due to its location.

Hurley Riverside Park: what do users think?
Matt Pavitt: Amazing riverside campingService: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Phil Langdale: Used their touring caravan site good toilets and showers safe site with fob access. The lane leading towards the site can be a little tricky if there are cars or caravans/boats coming the other way.Walkability: Can walk easily into Hurley village where there are two pubs and a small village shop.
Gareth Morgan: We went camping here recently and whilst when we arrived and we’re told the ‘rules’ we were maybe a little concerned with how the place would feel that totally changed once we set up and had been there even just a short while. The facilities are really nice and clean, the showers are brilliant. There was a short period where there were some temperature issues but they put up signs to help people and so it all felt great. There’s loads of room here and the access to the river was brilliant fun. Gorgeous place to be based to talk walks up and down the river too. We had a wicked stay and having the later check out time made it much more manageable to get a dry tent down rather than rushing whilst it’s a bit dewy still. Loved the place would definitely go back. Oh and the rules seemed like they were more setting the tone as we never had any issues after arriving so that’s ace :)
Jonathan Conway: A fantastic site with really helpful and considerate staff.Beautifully maintained touring pitches and great access to services.Toilet/shower blocks were clean and well kept.Dog friendly siteI would definitely visit again.Be aware that there are different grades of electric hook up. Make sure you book the correct one for your caravan/camper if you're touring.
Keith Macshane: A cracking site reasonably priced by the river Thames. Bus service to nearby Marlow which we used successfully and the other way to Henley-on-Thames. Two nice pubs in the village with nice beer gardens, lovely walking along the river. Will use again no problem.Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
foxops: Stayed at the touring caravan site. Good facilities and lovely layout. We cycled to Marlow and Henley. We mainly stuck to off road but found a lot of "no cycling" areas so pushed our bikes as much as rode them. The roads are narrow and not bike friendly.
Diane Morgan: First visit to Riverside Park. Fabulous site, well laid out. Very helpful and friendly staff/wardens. Peaceful. Great shower/toilet blocks, very clean. Small shop on site. Riverside walks along Thames Path. Would recommend, and hope to return soon.Walkability: Lovely walk along Thames path. You can walk into Marlow about an hour.
Jason Tyers: Stayed in our caravan, lots of space, great location on the Thames...good walk into Marlow, lovely shower blockLocation: 5/5 …More

YHA Holmbury St Mary Surrey Hills: what do users think?
Rosie D: Beautifully painted fire escape I mean really, I’ve never seen such care put into the appearance of health and safety. Also the mural next to the laundry room was one of the highlights of my trip. The dead wood walls looked so lovely too - the volunteers that helped fix up this place must’ve done a wonderful job!
Tramble App: Functional
Quyen Page: Stunning location and view. It's so quiet and peaceful here. An escape from modern life. Hostel is basic but comfortable. There is no living room or tv which is a positive for us. Shower cubicles are a little small but they are clean and works fine.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Richard Green: Great stay. Would love to go back.Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
BLOODHOUND: Two friends and I went to the hostel after our GCSE exam series and it was the perfect getaway. We booked a 4 room with 2 bunk beds which were all clean and comfortable, enough space for all of our bags. I was impressed to see a wall socket with the ability for a plug and two USB cables for charging devices. There was a kitchen downstairs with a few microwaves, an oven, a kettle and all the utilities you would need for the stay including cutlery and cooking utensils. Directly next to the kitchen was a dining area which was perfect because we didn't need to walk far with our food before eating. We did loads of walking, tonnes of options for trails, all with amazing views and wildlife. 5 pubs nearby, we went to the royal oak and the staff were very friendly and the food was great!Overall, great stay, would highly recommend!
Cosio Todo: This was a great place to go after GCSEs of a lads holiday being under 18 it was easy to book only needing picture of a passport.Has a kitchen with gas hobs microwave and cutlery. The beds were stable with clean bedsheets and there were usb plugs to charge your devices. There was a common area with dining room tables and a cafe armchair area.
Troy Pemberton: Great overnight camping spot whilst exploring surrey hillsRooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Lauren Kerr: Very rude couple who manage this propertyService: 1/5 …More
sticker strawberry: Went there with my school. There was cracks in the walls, Matresses thst made 8 people's backs hurt and necks (only speaking for the g corridor). We heard screams and banning that wasn't our voices (It was an old womans voice) There was also crumbs on the bed, And the taps were loose. I would stay again but the voice and screams scared us alot not to mention that the beds were very unstable .
Norman Mitchell: Architecturally basic building with a functional interior in a beautiful part of the country.
Souheil Rouibah: It is very good place to The staff at this location are very bad they never respond when you give them a call or even when you leave the message we’ve been trying to contact them for almost a month no respond 14 February 2022 And the website is even worse
Ben Nasatyr: Everything was extremely clean, comfortable, friendly and well-organised. There has clearly been a lot of thought and care put into anti-covid precautions. Of course it's a lovely spot to stay, especially if, like us, you want to ride out from the door to enjoy the mountain bike trails on Holmbury and Pitch Hills.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Stephen Wells: The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel makes it ideal for walking or cycling in the Surrey Hills. The hostel is very clean.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Susan Edwardes: Wonderful break
craggtop keighley: Nice friendly place, the staff are really nice the food is good and the location was ideal for my trip
John Evason: Great value for money and such a tranquil place to camp out and enjoy peace and quiet from the stress of the hustle and bustle of city life.

Graham Evans: Just helping a friend out
Dave Cordle: Great place for cubs, scouts and explorers to camp. Very peaceful. Love listening to the owls in the wood during the night.
Jane Tickner: Lovely day with yr 7s. Spent time outside building shelters and archery.
James Brewerton: Do camping and activities on the site and see lots of new work going around the site. Happy to know this campsite
Malcolm Chinoy: Great campsite for camping for the cubs & scouts with lots of activities for them to do.👍😁Playground: A good playground.Restrooms: Clean restrooms.
James Kemp: Great campsite with lots of activities and backs onto Banstead Woods, which are lovely. It's not huge, which means your beaver, cub or scout group is likely to have the whole place to yourself. Our cubs (two packs, with 28 in total) really loved the weekend.
Vadim Ryabinin: Nice view to London
Philip Anthony: Top facilities in a lovely remote location perfect for Scouting activities
A H: Great fields for camping. The toilets are cleaned regularly. The buildings get very cold in winter and takes a while to warm up. The site warden and booking manager are always unhappy. There is a lot of fields and forest nearby for hiking. There is a fire circle for approximately 50 people seated. There are altar fires avalible
Grease Monkey: Love our District Camp Site . All the toilets have been refurbished and the Disabled Toilet is one level with a walk in step free shower too . The out side is ok as a Scout Camp Site goes and reasonably level (except on the field ) . It is Still being a Work in Progress but I can get about ok in my Pavement Mobility Scooter . And in too the acativty areas
Tim Arscott: Have been going to the camp site from when I was a scout, still going now as a leader around 45 years later !! Still have good memories and hope it stays.
Margaret Tilford: Useful local activity centre for Scouting
Andy Mason: Picked up for scouts
Andrew Walker: I camped there with the Tadworth Scouts in 1960. Bought back a few memories
Matthew Ward: Good campsite and great surrounding paths, Good for a smaller group but Not suited for a Larger group and or for a longer amount of time.
Bounty Enahoro: Lovely grounds. Ideal for fireworks.
Callum Hawker: Great campsite for local scout groups to use.
Richard Salmon: A great district scout camp site, with a range of facilities and activities. Nestled in Banstead Woods, so ideal for a little light walking and exploring.
Jonathan Hinton: Is it a park? Is it a farm? Is it both?
DAVID JONES: Fantastic place for scouts it's just a shame it's not available perants to take there kids camping
Sarah Van Rensburg: Great place to camp out. Basic but has what you need.
