Local Hero: what do users think?

Stuart Hyslop: Popped in for a light breakfast on a Sunday morning. They were the only place open before 9am that we could find. Very glad and lucky to find it. .Really tasty food, great ingredients, Lovely staff.Big pot of tea and a really great cappuccino.Scrambled egg on sourdough with a tasty Cumberland sausage for me. Well presented and tasty. My wife had avocado on sourdough with crumbled feta. Outstandingly tasty. Thanks Guys. Keep up the good work. 👍👍

Dawn Howe: Had brunch here the other day. The food is great, really tasty and I could tell the ingredients were of high quality. Poached eggs were the best I’ve eaten. Good quality eggs cooked to perfection. Service and staff lovely. Will certainly be back.Recommended dishes Avocado Toast …

Tinomia Gradidge: What an absolute local gem! It's cozy inside with tables scattered around. You order and pay at the till which I quite enjoy, from there you go sit down and wait for your delicious coffee and food to be brought to you. The flat white is the best I've had, and I find it difficult to resist getting one when I'm in the area. The food is also heavenly. I can highly recommend their avocado toast with chorizo and poached egg as well as the salmon Benedict. Both of these dishes are simply fantastic and full of flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients as well as the effort that goes into the plating and presentation. We do eat with our eyes first. Once you have finished your meal and coffee, your table is quickly cleared by a friendly member of staff. Because you have already paid for your food, you can simply leave whenever you want. You are always waved out the door with a warm "bye, thank you" from staff. I will continue to support this amazing local hero!

Katy Matthews: Amazing focaccia toasties

Amit: We were on the fence about trying a new cafe as there is Gail’s a few yards away but so glad we did.The Flat White was sharp, perfectly proportioned and the roast was simply delicious. We paired this with the Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie which was rich in flavour and perfectly baked to a crisp top.The cafe was busy even on a rainy day so expect to fight for a table when the weather is right. All in all, our coffee experience here was flawless and this might very well be our ‘local hero’.Highly recommended cafe and one we will definitely be back to soon.

Ginger Bees Café: what do users think?

Chris Taylor: Being drawn in by the high rating we were keen to try this spot. The location is excellent this is not in dispute, it offers a cost place besides the river with a great view. The coffee was disappointing in that although it came well presented it unfortunately tasted burnt with no flavor. The posh BLT was really nice when it came however I would have liked a small breakfast of some sort with a medley of available.

Roy L: In that sunny autumn afternoon, the atmosphere was 6-star. I didn't expect much from what looked like to me a refreshment kiosk but the food was surprisingly good, so was the espresso. My smashed avocado on sourdough looked artistic and tasted fresh with plenty of tomatoes. They forgot to fill the order of my coffee though perhaps because they were too busy. The queue never ended.

HomeWork Putney, Flexible Workspace & Café: what do users think?

Graham Dixon: Best coffee & staff in town! Eve & Will always look after us, very polite, chatty and most importantly good coffee.

Gabriel Aguilo: , nice place to work instead of a coffee shop

David Finch: I have been a member here for a couple of years now and it is by the best coworking space I have worked in. I'm based in Putney but often visit Southfields/Wandsworth/Fulham to mix it up. The staff are friendly and professional in each location and the facilities are fantastic. I am launching a start-up and the connections I have made in Homework have helped me massively, whether it's the contacts introduced to me through the Homework business club or just through networking in the space itself. Securing a fixed desk here was one of the best decisions that I made in my self-employed journey so far. Thank you Homework team for your continued support.

Tom Parker: I occasionally work at one of the HomeWork locations across SW London and it's the only co-working space I feel really comfortable at. I tend to WFH as I prefer my creature comforts, but here I have plenty of space, chat with really nice people, access to events and mentoring, and of course great coffee 😊

Tim James: Lovely workspace, staff and coffee is fantastic!

Josh Wood: Stumbled across this lovely place due to my wifi being out at home and what a find it was! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, excellent coffee and a fantastic place to get some work done. I will be back!

Emily Johnson: I love working at HomeWork workspace. Always a friendly and happy place to work, and the staff are wonderful - attentive and kind!

Charlotte: A really friendly lovely vibrant buzzy workspace where I felt instantly at home and motivated. Although I live just round the corner I will be back if I need to be at home for the day Thank you!

Nikhil Obhrai: Really cool space to use when I'm working from home. The phone booths are very useful and the staff are very friendly. Extremely reasonable too!

BNige Robinson: Lovely people to take care of you and great facilities to work in.

Claire: Super friendly staff. Helped me print some papers, easily and stress-free. And the latte was delicious!

Robert Ellis: Homework Putney is a great, flexible co-working space. There are lots of desks and private spaces, a great coffee area and it is very well priced and conveniently located.

William Hatch: Great coffee and friendly staff 100% recommend!

Anna Kaminska: Great alternative to a work from home space. The team is really amazing, so friendly and helpful. It's also a great value! Two really important factors with potential:I'd love to see the calls areas having some dividers to provide a bit more privacy.Coffee, free of charge access to the full range - cappuccino, lattes etc.See you next time!

Marina Wong: Best coffee in Putney and the friendliest staff! I don’t have a need for the co-working space but this is my go-to for coffee during the week. Highly recommend

Ben Clayes: Great home-work space with good coffee. Highly recommended!

James Merchant: Best coffee in Putney!

Ash Purushotham: Update: Went here again. Love the food and the nice service.La Fiesta is quite affordable for a restaurant in Kingston centre. They provide good portions of food for the price they charge. Their service is also nice. I have never faced any bad experiences.I ordered Chicken Jalfrezi which suits my spicy taste buds.I make sure that I visit the restaurant when I am hungry and craving for some delicious food.

Waqas Ahmad Sheikh: Lovely local cafe for breakfast and lunch. They serve the traditional English breakfast and a range of burgers. The food gives you a feelings that its home cooked. The quality of food is excellent. The quality and quantity of the servings are of good size and the prices are very reasonable. The cafe is run by a family and its a very friendly atmosphere in there. They also offer takeaways so if you are in a hurry, you can always get it all packed.

Mahoud Omari: Very nice aera and nice people

Bina Uk: Amazing food

Jacqueline Robinson: Recommended dishes Greek Salad, Frittata, Salads

Kelly Robinson: Kingston's best kept secret! The freshest salad that I have ever had! With the yummiest vegetarian quiche 😋Staff were lovely too!Recommended dishes Salads …

Fred FR (Fredfr): , Pleasant Terrace, good cake selection, decent italian style coffee

Radosvet Petrov: Great place, food is always fresh, really tasty and worth the price, one of the best carrot cakes! Very friendly staff! Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options

joseph lo: The only vegan cake option this morning was the raspberry and pistachio. Although I wished there were more to choose from, the one I had was generous in portion and tasty. The cappuccino was the right strength with the oat milk for me. Service was friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was ok, but could be a disturbed by parents liberally allowing children to watch videos on phones without headsets.Vegetarian options: Glad to see vegan cake option for cake, and also seemingly for sandwich. But be aware there are not many choices.

Nadine Wood: A really lovely breakfast spot in Kingston, we tried Fortunella cafe off the back of all of the good reviews online. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. The food was delicious, there were four of us and we all ordered different things from the menu, and all where really impressed, the quality of ingredients you can tell are very very good! The location is lovely clean and very well kept. We highly recommend.

Alexandre Miranda: Good service, good coffee, a bit price for food!!

However, what separates Café Jax is the service - Helen and Simon are such welcoming, sincere and enjoyable people to be around. It's the first time I've returned to a café and the owners remember my name and order!Highly suggest you pay them a visit, if not for the amazing food, then for the amazing people. 🇬🇧🇨🇾

Maple Works: what do users think?

Dotwise Digital Marketing: A co-working space with options from hot-desking all the way up to dedicated offices. Good facilities, well-located in the heart of the community and very friendly people. Not so big that you don't get to know anybody, and not so small to adequately run a professional business. All in all it is a good place to base a growing business.

Rosie T: The team here have been very flexible for me to use a hotdesk. Tea & coffee provided and great location in surbiton. Quiet place to work and meeting rooms available to hire too.

Alec Mocatta: Was there almost every day for a year, joined by a colleague towards the end. Met many kind people, had a great time. Couldn't have asked for more.

Freya Leask: Friendly and welcoming, everything you need to effectively work remotely

Russell Cox: I found it to be an impressive and friendly service, good value and they could accommodate my group of 6 in a private room at very short notice. The premises appear well maintained, clean and spacious, and I'd def recommend Maple Works to friends and colleagues.
