Mihaela Schrevel: My partner and I have been training with Carl for almost 3 months now and we have loved every minute of it. We look forward to our sessions, where we are challenged and have fun. Carl has helped us massively with nutrition as well and the changes we have made are sustainable. We can already see a massive progress. Carl is an amazing coach, he is not only very knowledgeable but also dedicated, supportive and fun to work with!

Ben Houghton: I have trained with Carl for a year now. Cannot recommend him highly enough. The thought he puts into EVERY session is so evident. No session has ever felt the same in that year.He really listens to what is important to you and puts a lot of thought into what we work on. I gave Carl a brief on the sports I wanted him to help build my strength and fitness for and he has tailored everything we do to that end. Both sports have benefitted massively.His nutritional advice is born out of personal experimentation and is willing to work alongside you to find what works for you.Carl's responsiveness to the Covid restrictions has demonstrated his professionalism and flexibility. Even on zoom we have made progress. The evening the first lockdown was announced, by 930pm he had done a tour of Kingston (like a PT Santa) dropping pieces of kit on clients' doormats.He's good fun to spend an hour with twice a week....and at the same time, however hard you try to distract him and buy a little more rest time between sets.... he "kindly" keeps you on track....

Since then I've deadlifted a weight I really didn't think was possible for my feeble arms and legs, discovered that, yes, I can move my shoulders out of their hunched-over-my-desk position, learnt so much about technique, seen a faint sign of some actual core muscles, and most importantly, discovered that exercise is actually really enjoyable. All of that is thanks to Carl. Every session I do with him is different so there's no chance I can get bored, he is a fount of knowledge and full of useful hints and tips, he is very encouraging and just a great guy to be around. If you're looking for a personal trainer, you won't find one better than Carl.

tahim nawaz: Decent gym but the staff have no concept of customer service. No help at all and would rather hang around and have a chat. When they do decide to come to the actual gym floor they decide to disturb your workout with small talk.
Jess ashby: Have been a member of the gym now for a few months and since joining have been PT’d by Jak Pursey - could not recommend him more! He explains everything so clearly and puts together really challenging but fun work out plans. I can really see a noticeable difference in a short space of time.
