F45 Training Kingston: what do users think?
Aaron DaCosta: Fantastic place to train with a great culture. Jim, Fiona and Carl very welcoming and made me feel like a regular! Highly recommend!
Airsoft JOKER: Can you tell me why on your page you open at 6am yet you are in there at 5:30am playing loud music I just got my new 2week old son to sleep and then all I can hear is thumping bass.Kindly would you not thanks
sam L: I highly recommend F45 Kingston. I attended between 2017-2018, and have recently returned. From the first class, I felt welcomed by the F45 community. The owners Jim and Fiona are genuine, lovely people, who are always on hand to motivate you! I would go as far as calling them, my friends. The trainers are friendly and approachable, and happy to lend advice on your fitness journey. The classes are fun, motivating and make you keen to return day after day!The space is super clean and well organised, and it never feels overcrowded even with a full class. Facilities are great, parking easy( FREE) and in a walkable location from Kingston town.
Nicola Powell: Love love love this studio!! Such a warm, friendly and fun atmosphere! Highly recommend ❤️
Lucy Crossley: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI HIGHLY recommend this gym. The coaches all go round and not only motivate you, but show you exactly how to do the exercises if they're a little more advanced. My 2 week trial was cut short because of lockdown and they very kindly added an extra week on for me when the gym reopened. Very grateful for this. Brilliant team!
Vineet Dhar: Great place.
Alastair Galloway: Great workout venue. Great staff and good group fitness
Rob Milloy: Great fun, good people, tough workouts!
karolina wegner: Best place to train in !
Fiona crossley: This is a great workout space, light and airy, plenty of space. Parking is easy and regular bus and train services within a short walk. F45 workouts are a great way to get fit fast - effective, time efficient and fun - whatever your current fitness level you'll get a great workout and you'll get fitter, leaner and stronger. Everyone is really friendly too!
Zoe Jones: Great studio with friendly welcoming clients, trainers and owners. Workouts are awesome, tough but good fun!
Peter Smithson: Great way to keep fit!

David Lloyd Kingston: what do users think?
Sophie White: Hannah sales manager at Kingston just showed me around the lovely club , she was so warm and friendly at made me feel at ease
Olga Vysotska: Hello,Our 6-year old daughter has hurt her foot in the swimming pool during the swimming classes, twice. On the first occasion, the life guard was incapable to provide the first aid, second time, the first aid kit was locked and the life guard needed to radio a colleague to come and help them open it. Nearly three weeks have passed since we had to take our daughter to A&E as a result of the injury sustained at the pool, we are still waiting for any official response from David Lloyd Kingston or Regional Management. The absence of official response as well as the accidents evidence the failure of duty of care for the safety of its members.
Quilombo UK: Very Simple, check the reviews to see ALL COMPLAINTS about their customer service.Biased (we mean very biased) members of staff (not all but enough to gang up on you). If they don't like your face....you will get it.Doesnt matter making formal complaints, they dont take that serious!!Some reception staff seem to be there to be served instead of serve and some floor staff are simply Rude and will try to intimidate and bully customers.NO PROFESSIONALISM WHATSOEVER!
Peshawa: That’s a good GYM in the Area and lovely staff there 👌
Maria Haider: I’m really disappointed with DL Kingon. They now offer multiple virtual cyclone (cycling) classes and only a bare minimum of instructor led ones. They’ve also changed their timetable which has left me only able to do 3/5ths of my normal routine. I’ve repeatedly tried to speak to the manager Lee - requested a call via email, in person at the front desk, and even an email to the CEO.They don’t care. No call back. I gave my notice which btw is a ridiculous THREE months. They get my money for an another 90 days even though they’re not giving me what I signed up for!!Don’t join this place. Nuffield Kingston offers way more variety of classes, has a bigger pool and is also about £10 cheaper per month.I’ve been a member of DL for 3.5 years and paid for each year up front, but the place has serious scheduling issues and no longer offer an acceptable range of classes, nor do they think it appropriate to contact members about these issues even when asked to do so.If you want virtual classes save your money and just do them for free online. If you don’t want virtual join another gym stand by their offer.
Ana-Maria Baraian: Best club in the area , friendly staff and good gym equipment
Catalin Gaman: A place for exercise or training activities, on a subscription basis. State-of-the-art equipment, qualified staff, and work and recreation spaces for all age groups. Located in the center of the city it is suitable for easy access from any direction. To be healthy, you must be strong!
Sergio Portillo: Honestly I can't complain about DL Kingston. They have treated me really well. There was a time when I went for a long holiday and they let me pause my membership. They charged me a very small fee compared to what was the monthly fee.PTs are quite friendly. I personally don't really like having PTs but it isn't anything related to any particular PT, i just like following my regimes. They are always happy to help if you want to ask them something. The Pool and Spa area is amazing. It is well known that DL is not the cheapest gym but this is more than just a gym. It is a club where you can train and at the same time make friends, relax and enjoy having a healthy routine.I have been to a couple of classes and they are also good. Lockers are decent and there are a good amount so I don't think they'll ever run out of lockers for members to use.The only thing I could mention is that it is kind of annoying to hear when people throw their heavy weights when they really can't lift them. Sometimes you can even that they literally just lift and throw the weights on the floor without even trying to complete the whole exercise/rep. Might as well just reduce the amount of kgs they are trying to lift instead of damaging the gym.
D Chan: Very convenient and has all the essential amenities.
R B: One of the best Gyms in Kingston. Went for a trial with my Dad, getting him out of the house and active at his age is important. Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and brilliant location.
food gate: David loads always the best
Alex: Joined last year with my wife and got platinum membership. Price increased a few month ago and the level of service has gone down unfortunately. We are paying so much money towards our membership and not receiving the service that we are supposed to. Most of the time the jacuzzi is broken. In the past few months the jacuzzi has broken a several times and every time we wanted to use the facility, the jacuzzi was out of service. Poor service and not a great value for the money. We pay premium price for a joint membership and expecting to get premium service. We convinced one of our friend to come with us as a guest to experience the club facility. It was a bad experience for them as the spa was out of service again as usual. So, they will not be joining. We are also thinking of leaving the club as this is not a great value for our money. Sorry David Lloyd Kingston the quality of your service has gone down. You have increased the prices already. However, you have done nothing to improve your club facility. The showers are old and not working most of the time. The wall tiles in Spa are broken. The spa need proper refurbishment. Will never recommend to friends and family.
Pixzara Photography: Made for families indeed! Lovely and spacious
Elis Shenkov: The pool absolutely never works. If you want just a gym there much cheaper options. Unnecessary
Suzie: Good gym with kind teams
Mohit Sampat: PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB IS MY SUGGESTION.So , this is a second review from my end and the reason is as usual David Lloyd will always take its customers for granted, especially the ones who wish to leave the club or discuss about it. I have messaged the club several times on the application but got no response so far, I tried to call the reception but they say if you wish to leave the club you can only check the application. The only way I can get a response from this club is through a google review, its just because they like to fake good customer service here Infront of everyone, now they will apologies to this review and then they would not reach out to me as usual. It is so much of pain to keep writing reviews for an organization to just respond to a customer. PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS CLUB
Kash Reid-Bashir: The gym is compact for a David Lloyd club but has oodles of natural light as it is based in the Rotunda in Kingston. The facilities are ample with a nice pool, spa and steam room if you want to relax. I have not attended many of the classes at this particular club but the provision is likely to be ample. If you want to join a branch with rackets, I would strongly recommend making your way to David Lloyd, Raynes Park. This is my local club and, on the rare occasion that I do have time in the morning, I really enjoy visiting the club.
Tam Tam: Take 1 day to sign up- and forever to cancel . They don’t answer email and app. I want to cancel and I can not. 😩😩😩
Carol Heloisa: Me and my husband had have booked an appointment to visit the club, we were a bit late and after 30 minutes waiting some of the staff came and said that they could not show the club for us that time and we need to book another appointment. (I think is a shame they let a potentially member leave the club). So we call later to know how much would be for us to join the club as we just moved to Kingston and they said they could not said the price. We were member of David’s loyds at South Kensington before and we are very disappointed with the David’s loyds staff. Seams that the company does not have an owner.
Bruna: Great staff. Everyone is so lovely and friendly. They make you feel very welcome too. Good facilities too however they should get more than one of each machine.

Simon Bishop: The gym is such a great place to come the whole team are so friendly and engaging willing to go the extra mile to help each other out, I would recommend this gym as the best in kingston and I would know as I’ve been to all of them in the area.
ZERO XD: Perfect service
mk 7: Great gymNice staff
Cheick Tome: I really enjoy working out here
tahim nawaz: Decent gym but the staff have no concept of customer service. No help at all and would rather hang around and have a chat. When they do decide to come to the actual gym floor they decide to disturb your workout with small talk.
Jess ashby: Have been a member of the gym now for a few months and since joining have been PT’d by Jak Pursey - could not recommend him more! He explains everything so clearly and puts together really challenging but fun work out plans. I can really see a noticeable difference in a short space of time.

YMCA Hawker: what do users think?
HER: Great place for kids and adult
Josh: A good charity run gym, with decent facilities and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Good for all ages and fitness levels.
Olusola Fadero: This contains "The Pod" which is the nearest soft play to me, but it has always been difficult to find out when it is open to book a time to come. This is because doing parties is their priority. It is a small soft play which is dusty in some accessible areas. However my daughter enjoys it, especially now she is over 3, as there are tunnels she can go through into pods she can wave at me from.I've only been able to get early sessions e.g. 8.15am , 9am so the toilets are clean when we go. However they are designed for adults so unsurprisingly the hand washing gets messy. The only time we wanted something from the snack bar there was no one around so we went to a cafe further into Kingston afterwards to get food.
Asad Mohamed: You should put a note on your website or on the reception desk that weekends are booked for private parties for the pod . Rubbish place , rubbish pod and rude staff . Avoid this place
Trevor Bailie: Excellent facility. Well managed. Great staff.
Abdulaziz Allam: There is only 2 pitches and the ground not level very wet need look afterBad experience
Jacob: Friendly and accessible community gym.
A Taymoor: The softplay is good and the kids had fun, but it was so dirty. They probably haven’t cleaned it since they opened.
Beth Parker: The Pod was really good fun for the kids. Probably the best softplay I have been to in terms of variety. However it lost points for cleanliness. The toilets were fairly revolting and the whole building has a grubby feel about it.
Wayne Anthony-Cole: Took my 19mo son.Greeted by a foul stench from open door of changing facility/disabled toilet. Nearly gagged. 3 or 4 ppl at desk didn’t seem bothered.Playroom had no air con, & absolutely no staff in control, kids basically running wild. The main area - 90% - looked ok, tunnels, obstacles, swings, bridges, nets, etc.Tiny corner allotted to young ‘uns was a few big cushions/obstacles & a sort of swing. The “Sensory Room”, (special needs & babies - 2yrs max.), was a dark sweat box with some toys, more cushiony obstacles, a teeny ball pond & a few pretty lights. Bigger kids often crashing in & out, completely ignoring age limit/needs of any1 else.Left after about 30 mins, back through the now less pungent & breezy reception that seemed 2 b prioritised over the kids/parents/reason it was there. On top of it all, next day my son was sick.As u may have figured by now, we won’t b returning.
Abbey Swanson: Why do they make it so difficult to book!? Took me a good 30 minutes with a baby wriggling on my lap just to try and book us in for a session! In the end i gave up and called the reception to ask if they could book me in but no! ‘Dont have access too our own booking system’. Given up and will be going somewhere else!
Nicky Pearce: Great staff, great hospitality, great location for your little 9nes irthday party! Will definately be booking again!
Ian McNair: everything you would expect, playing fields, tennis & childrens softplay.
Richard James: Lots of activities for families. Also a great location on the river for a cool drink on a summer evening! I know I am biased but I would thoroughly recommend it!
fernando calvo: Great for birthday parties
kate block: Miserable staff serving food all the staff look so unhappy don't blame them as the place is an absolute dumpWhen you order food you expected to abandoned your children to eat it in a separate part of the building soft play is filthy and outdated my child split her slip coming down the slide blood everywhere staff are not remotely interested
RedRose: Great instructors and full of equipment. However I think that the cleanliness is the downside for this leisure centre. Especially on weekends the main studio floor is so dirty!
M T: The soft play is good for the price, things need updating but most of all needs to be cleaned. Never seen so much dust and dirt, cannot believe how filthy it was. When we were on lockdown they should've used that opportunity to do a deep clean. Won't be returning. The kids don't go to the parts in the photos but not reassuring their hygiene levels are priority
V P: Fantastic soft play area for kids, for the price I don’t think you can get a better soft play in the area. They do not allow the soft play to be over crowed with children as they only let a reasonable amount of children in, in one session so never over crowed. You get the perfect amount of time for your child or children to run wild and burn off lots of energy. Very clean and well managed. Free parking and lots of it on site too!
H: A nasty experience, off-putting place and staff.
Ana Maria Vieru: Would not recomended.very cold, not baby friendly at all,no toys for the little ones.not a good place to entertain todlers

Nuffield Health Kingston Fitness & Wellbeing Gym: what do users think?
Lara H: This gym is a disgrace. I did a free trial a while back, and they started charging £1 for an extra towel, and let me tell you that they aren't nice and fluffy. The towels at this gym are small, crusty, scratchy and have been bleached within an inch of their life. Not to mention it could actually be perceived as discriminative to charge £1 for an extra towel, because generally speaking, women have longer hair than the majority of men, and you need an extra towel to dry longer hair after washing. To charge a £1 fee for an extra towel on top of a £90 monthly membership is blatant robbery, a complete rip off, and it is shameful that they think this is acceptable. The changing rooms are grotty and grimy and in desperate need of an uplift, the floor is always wet (likely due to women not wanting to be penalised and pay a fee for an extra towel to dry their hair). I decided not to proceed with a membership at this gym and gave my feedback to management who couldn't care less. Some advice: Get some new towels because your crusty towels are vile, stop charging for an extra towel, and think about the message you're putting out to your customers - essentially, that women have to pay more to use your gym and facilities. Absolutely disgusting and shameful.Avoid this gym, overpriced and a complete joke. It was a lovely gym when it was Virgin, Virgin gyms are 1000 times better than these jokers. The place should be closed and replaced with a company who actually care about their customers who without, they wouldn't have a business in the first place.
Flower Princess: Nuffield Kingston. 6mins late and not allowed in a booked child’s session. expensive but facilities always for repair. Manager lacks empathy and arrogant. Clearly not trained in dealing w/an irate customer.
Fatima Gaffar: Nuffield kingston, unfortunately there are certain members of staff at the front desk who are extremely rude and quite possibly racist. The managers don’t seem to care and it has been this way for a while now as we have experienced a few incidents. The Surbiton branch seems to get it right with the staff as they are all so polite and helpful so its just shocking that kingston can get it this wrong.
Dmitry Bagrov: It is a good gym with decent facilities and friendly staff.
Francis Flack: I have been a member for many years here an once trying to cancel I had nothing but problems I spoke to one of the staff in the gym that told me it was done only to see the money come out the following month the steam room never works the gym is over crowded the certainly would recommend looking elsewhere the only reason I joined was because of the parking only to find even being a member u still get charged to park
cctv tv: Should have read the reviews before I join the gym. They could not care less about the members. I took my daughters to swimming today and found out my combination padlock did not work. I went to reception to borrow a lock. They said they are not longer to lend lock to members now. Clearly, they have spare locks and just don't want to help. While my two daughters are already in the pool, I was really sad. You do pay for what you get. I used to have a membership of another gym in the area for 5 years. They are a bit more expensive but they really take care of their members. Please make the right decision to leave this gym.
hamwic BI: If only there was an option to leave no stars. I’ve been a member for over a year now and it’s been beset with issues. No jacuzzi (only recently fixed) no steam room (part always seems to be delayed) as of writing no hot water for two days (but this seems to be an issue that comes up every so often) leaking roof which rendered some exercise machines out of action, exercise machines switched off to save power at busy times all the while where they still charge you FULL price membership. I didn’t want to write this post but I can never seem to get through to a manager and they always leave front reception staff who have no idea what’s happening (not their fault). You’ll notice no one from Nuffield comes here to respond to any of these complaints which says it all
Chan M: Great gym with cardio, weights, boxing bags, swimming pool, restaurant, at reasonable prices.
kisbukti: Nice gym, friendly staff, but the cleaning is not acceptable. Every week the male changing room and showers are a mess.
Ehsan Takhshid: Absolutely awful. Waste of our money, Rude staff. This woman working there named Kirsty or Kristy been really rude and racist to us when we asked a question.
Salem: Under 16 can't go to the gym after 6. Even if you paid off peak. Not worth it.
Draginja Applin: Everything from the staff to the facilities was wonderful, helpful and the place is marvelous. The manager Renato is so helpful. Thank you so much Kingston
Maryam Omidfard: Very bad customer service, rude manager & super unprofessional, just taking money from people & not giving services, spa & jacuzzi close for winter to save money, waste of money to be member there. Not sugges at all 👎
Cemil Simsek: I've been a member of Nuffield Kingston on a annual rolling contract for three years. I was allowed to freeze my membership when I'm on vacation past three years. (i go on vacation max twice.) I was told this year that I cannot freeze the membership due to company policy. I called 4 different Nuffield branches in London and asked sales assistants if i can freeze my membership when I'm on vacation and they all told me "YES". When I shared this with Kingston management, I've been told to cancel my contract, they have to follow company policy. (which I did cancel my annual contract.) Anyone, who signs an annual contract with Kingston Nuffield should be aware that you make a commitment of 11 months for the price of 12 months!
Ian Drummond: Like the pool and steam room
Isabelle Leather: Small gym. Rude Staff.
The Anonymous Dog: This gym is an absolute joke. It has a persistent leak in the ceiling that they never bother to fix. They take equipment out of service due to water dripping from the ceiling. The area by the main window stinks of moldy damp. Customer service is non existent. They do not service or maintain their equipment. They have taken the spa (jacuzzi) pool out of action to “save energy”. Cleanliness is poor. The gym is full of towels and buckets to soak up water. Absolutely appalling. If you complain they just ignore you. Avoid.
Mahsa K: Unfortunately I went there as guest today (30/oct/22) and I left feeling angry, upset and confused as to why I was treated so poorly. I had my two little kids which we had planned to use the soft play with their cousin (who was a member). The reception lady from this morning (around 11am) said me and my kids will need to be a member (something which the last time I visited was never mentioned). My sister in law also mentioned she had brought other guests and it was never been an issue before. Nevertheless I assumed it may have been an error last few times.I then asked if we could use the guest passes we had. At this point this lady, simply looked me in the eye and moved across the table and served other customers. Honestly I was so shocked at the obvious rudeness. I then asked her again and she said I could use the pass and gave me a bunch of prices for entry. Naturally, I asked what is the purpose of the guest pass then? To which she replied I will get my manager. To be honest I was even shocked at this response as i believed we were having a conversation to find a resolution either way. The Manager came along and said we could use the facilities free of charge using the guest pass. I then expressed my complain to the manager when another gentleman interrupted and said he heard the reception lady answer me, I have to be honest I wanted to carryon the conversation as at this point he just called me a liar to my face and the fact this gentleman was also no where in sight when we were having the conversation. However I dropped it as I had two small children with me and as most can agree you pick your battles but I could not forget.Whilst the reception lady was 50% correct however she obviously had decided she did not want to help us and instead wanted to charge us on top of the guest pass for sake of lack of knowledge or simply being unprofessional and passive aggressive. The other gentleman seemed like he wanted to start a fight which he was not a part of (also very unprofessional as I had no business with him) and the manager just didn’t seem to care for either side.I appreciate I am not a member however it is unthinkable why this lady would think that was an appropriate way to have a conversation, ghosting visitors, ignoring them, giving incorrect information and having very little patience to have a basic conversation considering she is the first face you see when you walk in. Unfortunately, everything escalated so quickly from her end that I do wonder if there a was racist intent as well (I am Iranian by ethnicity).I also do not appreciate being called a liar by someone who was never involved and was not even asked for their opinion. The situation only de-escalated because I dropped it not because the staff or the manager deemed it appropriate to carry out the appropriate customer service and defuse it. Instead they ganged up.For the record I had planned to join the swimming classes so my kids and their cousins can have swimming together , of course I will not be doing that now. I dread to think how members are treated once locked inI have sent my complaint to customer services and would be interested to see if they are a little more interested in their staff behaviour than the manager was.
Fat Tbastard: Spar closed...to save money :( national rules not local )
Jemms89: Awful and rude receptionist Juliette no manners! my husband and son have been twice to this gym and both times she’s been extremely rude can’t help but think it’s discrimination of there skin colour as no other customer was spoken to in this way. The manager Renato is incompetent this is all done in-front of him clearly they have no customer service skills! Very disgusted and upset to hear what’s happened to my husband and my son!
Lucia Pia: If you’re thinking of joining this gym I would advise you read this first. They are money hungry, once you sign up they put no effort into giving you a proper induction of the gym. The cleanliness in there is shocking, thick dust in the main workout area, same rubbish in the lockers day after day, hair in the shower drains and just a sticky and musty feeling in the changing rooms. Definitely not reflecting the price point of the membership. The customer service is shocking, not only from the Kingston branch but also from the main complaints head office. (Don’t expect them to reply to you unless they chase you for money). Not much floor space to work out in as the gym is so overcrowded even in non peak times. Very little ventilation. And not many weights available too. Pool area has not been changed since the establishment was Esporta so feels dingy. Also showers leak from the ceiling so who knows if that water is clean. Changing rooms always have children there even after 7pm and so full that it gives you no space to get changed. (only one enclosed changing room). Even if you complain they don’t try and resolve the issues or accomodate you as a customer.
