My Aerial Home: what do users think?

Weybudur Rahman: Great venue and very patient with the kids at the classes they have in place for kids.My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her taster class and it was great for her confidence. We have signed her up for classes now.

lucy sze: I had a wonderful experience previously with Amanda on static trapeze, the warm up at the start, and the stretching sessions included after classes, all have been absolutely fantastic! The supportive atmosphere and expert instruction at this aerial home have been a game-changer. I’ve enjoyed every moment here, and hope to return to continue my progress in the future!

Aileen McCavitt: and I had Amanda as my instructor, she is very encouraging and kind she really made me feel comfortable and safe when trying new skills. I cant wait to go back again already! I Would highly reccomend this aerial school.

Tammy G: Such excitement and enthusiasm in this place! Proves that learning can be fun!

Miri Lawrence: I recently joined MAH after seeing their amazing showcase from the one month Foundation Course. I immediately enrolled on the course and joined the school. The space is incredible and the staff and students are so friendly. The teaching is very professional, ensuring that everyone is safe and all ages and abilities are welcomed. It is difficult to put into words the atmosphere that Amanda has created here - although aerial is challenging, as soon as I walk in I am at ease, everyone is supported and encouraged and I have so much fun and laughter. It has become a second home to me.

Jacqueline Galvin: My Aerial Home is just that - a place that feels like a lovely safe supportive home space from which to explore all your circus dreams! Amanda and all the staff are all so passionate and dedicated to aerial and to tirelessly mentoring each and every person who comes through their doors to help them unlock their potential in the air. An excellent facility, really well equipped, where professional performers mix with first timers with ease and everyone has a place to work and train at their level, and move all the way up to professional level, should they wish to. Excellent standards of teaching throughout, definitely highly recommended if you want to explore your potential in the air!

Rebecca Murray: Fantastic school for advanced and beginners. All the teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful with adapting to different types of levels in class. It has great intensive courses to enhance your skills as an aerial dancer. Overall a wonderful school that offers a variety of courses and classes and a big open space to train in.

Georgina Miles: Excellent venue run by excellent people!I started practicing Aerial here a few years ago now, they have been the most welcoming studio I’ve been to. The sessions have been fantastically led by very inspiring teachers and the space itself is brilliant. It’s very spacious with high ceilings, making a great place to practice and train in aerial. Thanks to Amanda and the team for your continued support!

Rachel Entwistle: Fantastic facilities, lots of space and excellent teachers full of wealth. They have courses and training for people brand new to aerial or professionals. Absolutely recommend

Laura Ferguson: I have been a member of MAH for over ten years. It is the most welcoming and supportive place to train. I am an amateur and do aerial as a hobby but have taken part in some of the intensive courses too. There is so much variety with the classes offered. Small class sizes so you all get your own equipment and good tuition. The space is bright and big with dedicated warm up and cool down space and is clean and dog friendly! Not to mention MAH’s Kitchen - to grab a coffee or snack pre or post class. It’s also good for parking and public transport! The team are so friendly, knowledgeable and great teachers. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Sophie Louise: Beautiful aerial school in Sydenham. The whole team are welcoming and supportive of both beginners and pros. There’s a great variety of aerial equipment to try and the team are always extremely encouraging of students to try new classes and skills. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to try aerial.

Forgotten Circus School: what do users think?

Laura: Bad babe energy 😎

sadie.r H: I have been coming to forgotten circus for around four years and it’s such a wonderful atmosphere. Both teachers and students are super kind and supportive and will always help you to do as best as you can! Xx

Xander Shrewsbury: Forgotten Circus School has kept me sane these past few months! I've been doing regular hoop classes and recently did a 1 week intensive and have learned so many skills, got my body in a much better shape and leave feeling amazing. Everyone is so friendly and positive and it's a really nice space. Can't recommend enough

Funeral Child: Top, Lindsey is the best, makes newcomers feel welcome, integrated and not neglected.

Melissa Spratt: These guys are a group of talented teachers. Very accommodating and make the classes fun with music and light hearted approach. Classes are defo worth the price. I have been doing aerial silks and it's an enjoyable way to get fit. Would highly recommend getting involved!

Robert von Ziegenweidt: I love this school. From the moment you walk through the door, you are made to feel part of the Forgotten Circus family. The team here have helped me to migrate a little out of my very static shell so that I'm slowly gaining increased fluidity of movement and am learning some great circus skills at the same time. There is always encouragement to try moves and in the loveliest way imaginable, they don't let me pander to my 'I can't do it' voice.

Awesome's Mum: I am writing about the class for youngsters. This place is so good I don't really want other people to know about it! The classes will never have more than 8 in, though, with 2 expert and engaging teachers, so I'll let you into the secret. There are 2 classes - my kid just started in the Thursday class for older kids and loves it. The balance of challenge and encouragement is just right, with a good focus on safety and an excellent sense of what the next step will be to extend the child's skills. You sign up for a series, so make sure you put aside time to find out when the next one starts and then you buy a voucher for the 5 / 6 weeks of the school half term - it isn't on in the holidays. There is a coffee shop round the corner if you aren't staying in the room. Nice!

Natalie Bernazzani Rivera: . The space is spacious with high ceilings and a lovely cozy feel.I CAN NOT RATE THIS SCHOOL HIGH ENOUGH! I can't imagine myself ever leaving!!

Elizabeth Ford: I love this place! Lindsey is the most passionate, supportive teacher you could dream of! I started as a complete beginner and now im fitter and more confident than i have ever been before. The whole of forgotten circus is like one big family that i am super happy to be part of!

Aixa jemmott: Couldn’t have found a better place to learn and practice circus arts!! A space full of the loveliest, genuine, skilled and caring people!! 13/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to take up circus arts and try something new! If you’re looking for somewhere with amazing teaching, people and spaces this is it!!

Cleo O: I’ve been to a few different circus classes in the past but I always felt that they were too focused on fitness side of things and not really the art and beauty of circus. With other circus classes it feels like the new get fit craze but Forgotten Circus School is the perfect combination of working on strength/ fitness but also /training/ and nurturing an art form. The teachers genuinely care about your progress and you can see the love they have for their particular specialties. They will speak about how what you’re learning can be applied in future routines and performances, or wherever you choose to take your circus journey, which is very inspiring.I started in February and have been coming every month since, I can’t really imagine my life without it now and I can’t see myself going anywhere else.Every class is fun from the warm up till the very end and everyone who attends supports and encourages each other, it’s a really lovely sense of community.

Wiktoria Sedkowska: In my biggest dreams I will never think I will be able to do all the stuff I’m able to do after 6 sessions in Forgotten Circus! I met amazing people and my confidence rised! Totally in love with this place! Highly recommend!

Helena Kuntz: straight up the best circus classes iv been to. the community is amazing. everyone supports each other =]

Barbara Brigatti: Do you want to learn new skills, build some strength and gain some confidence? Than the Forgotten Circus School is the place to go!!! Here you will find a warm, friendly and family-like atmosphere, exceptional quality classes and the best highly-trained, professional and enthusiastic teachers. The Forgotten Circus School is my second family and the best circus school in London!!

AirCraft Circus Academy: what do users think?

Averee Cook: My kids attend the classes here and have done for ~3 years. The teachers are lovely and really supportive. They do a great job of engaging the kids and keeping them involved. They are also understanding if a child does not feel comfortable doing something and will not push them.

Iliana Lazarova: I did the harness and bungee taster as a birthday present. That is certainly an experience that put me out of my comfort zone but brought a lot of joy too! The staff here are solid professionals and I trusted them entirely.Definitely a fun and unconventional activity to try!

Alex White: I've been coming here 7 years now. The venue is a converted hangar, so it's perfect for circus with its high ceilings and wide spaces. The quality of teaching is also very high; Lucy in particular is phenomenally knowledgeable and knows how to push to get the most out of you.

RedcoatTrooper: Great and helpful staff that really bring out the best.

Charles Ohsten: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy partner and I went for the flying trapeze taster. The instructor, Nick, was great; very friendly and professional. He tailored the session to both of our abilities so that each of us had a quality session. At £40 for 2 hours per person it's great value as well. Thanks, Hannah and Not Hannah

Sarah Claxton: . Fantastic experience. The venue is clean and they have measures in place to ensure it's a safe place to practice.I'd definitely recommend.

Peter Morey: Me and my sis went along to try flying trapeze as complete beginners. The trainers helped us overcome our fears and 'learn by doing'... very friendly, accessible, encouraging and professional... and FUN! Would 200% do this again, and as someone who is pretty much gym-phobic that means a lot.

louise robinson: I would highly recommend AirCraft Circus! I have only been attending for 2 weeks, and I suck! But I love every moment of it. I feel safe, well instructed, and the facilities are great. I will definitely be spending more time here.

gera evtukhova: Very friendly atmosphere. Was watching the scratch show on Friday. Acts was amazing. Very talented and creative!!! Good organisation.

Zoe Austin-walker: Awesomeness 😆

Aerial Gymnastics London: what do users think?

Andrew Obolanle: Kids love it here

Charlotte Mayne: I recently completed a 1 week aerial intensive at AGL and I absolutely loved it. Nathalie and her team are so knowledgeable and can easily tweak moves to cater for all abilities. The range of disciplines was fantastic and it was great to have the opportunity to try out so many different aerial activities. The facilities are wonderful too and there is also parking. Would highly recommend AGL!

peng alice: As an aerial addict, agl is the best place in east london. Reasonable price, amazing instructors, and safe training space. Really love it.

Alice Elizabeth: I started by doing a one week intensive at this studio and fell in love, now I attend hoop classes regularly. The studio is amazing and the instructors are all wonderful, friendly and super talented. I'm ALWAYS learning new things there! The one week intensive was one of the best experiences, I got to try loads of new apperatus like Spanish Web, Rope and Tippy Hoop, I had the best teachers and met some interesting like minded people! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves aerial or just wants to try something new! It's such a phenomenal environment to learn in.

Caitlyn Averill: AGL is my happy place, and I love training here! All of the instructors are wonderful and I have learnt so much since I started training with them. I recently completed a one month intensive training course at AGL which helped me to improve my skills further in a safe and fun environment. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, I cannot recommend AGL enough! 🌟

Judith H: My daughter had a fantastic birthday party here. No previous experience amongst the group of 12 year olds but Instructor Camille made the experience good fun & the girls felt like professionals! I can’t recommend enough.

Danielle Sosta: This is my happy place. As an aerial instructor, I don't often get to be a student and learn new things, and I think Nathalie and the team have created a really great supportive environment for people of all shapes, sizes and abilities. AGL is a different kind of aerial school and I think I personally needed this kind of safe space to train in, where I dont have to feel pressured for not being a dancer or a gymnast. I love it ❤️

Brian Reed: Where do I begin? Facilities first class, very warm and approachable staff, full of knowledge. Having attended a few other schools within the UK, this is by far the best experience I've had.

Patrice Lawrence: . I did a week long intensive in August 2022 which I absolutely loved as it introduced me to lots of skills I hadn't tried before. I have recently begun doing the weekly stretch classes which form part of my membership and am excited about trying silks on a regular basis! I really like the short courses as an alternative to the longer intensives as it can be difficult to find the annual leave for a full week.

Angelina Stratigaki: place! I am usually there 2-3 times per week, so you can certainly say that it feels like my second home! Nathalie and Amanda, thank you so much for always taking such a good care of us and for being part of my aerial journey!

Catherine Thomson: I attended a week long aerial intensive course here in April 2023, and I cannot recommend AGL enough. The teachers are really supportive and encouraging, and the aerial facilities are great, and very safe.

Flora Szabo: I did an aerial intensive week course her and I absolutely loved it, I could not have asked for anything better, all the staff were lovely and I met amazing people, the photoshoot at the end was just amazing too will definitely come again

Julie Yeung: the additional challenge of being out of my comfort zone in the Self Defence and Gymnastic sessions - and loved both despite being pretty rubbish! The trainers for all the modules were excellent not only technically but also in their friendly, informed, patient, supportive approach. The equipment is top quality and well maintained and the training space is wonderful. The rigging session was super useful for me and it goes without saying that the pro. photo-shoot was a real bonus. Thank you to Nathalie for running such a great outfit, all the trainers and Dan.

Suzy Halstead: Such a welcoming atmosphere, the instructors are fantastic and I just love to train there!

Jade Wijaya: In love with this place and in love with the team! The support and encouragement that comes from AGL is amazing. I’ve been hooping here for a good few years now and I love it more and more each time I come. I’ve even become a regular with the intensive weeks now - can’t keep me away! 5 stars doesn’t do it justice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Jade Chen: been going agl for nearly 2 years and it's such a nice training space. always feel dead safe on their equipment and big up the instructors they're absolutely lovely

Caitlin Cordner: I did a week long intensive course with AGL in April and I had the BEST TIME EVER.All members of staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable and I felt in very safe hands the entire time. There were plenty of options for beginners and more experienced aerialists.I've never ached so much in my life but it was all worth it! I'll be back next year!!!

Alessia Ceccarelli: Excellent space both for size, aerial equipment and trainers. Everyone was really welcoming and the classes were great. Unfortunately I live in SW London but I’d be at AGL every day if it was closer to me!

Sapphire Media: I did an Aerial Intensive here in January and learnt so much. I have since moved to AGL for my main place of training. The space and height of the studio is perfect and the teachers give great time to all students in the class. I've learnt a lot in the last 3 or so months I have been a regular at AGL.

National Centre for Circus Arts: what do users think?

Ann: If you want to have a taster of a bunch of different things you can learn here, I recommend trying their Circus Experience Day. It's a couple of hours where you rotate through different activities. I went with a friend and it was really fun. We did silks, trapeze, tightrope, acrobatics, juggling. It's very beginner friendly, so don't expect to learn any intermediate skills. But it's great if you want a fun activity to try and to get an idea of what you might like to pursue further. Instructors were friendly and knowledgeable and taught us how to build up to different tricks step-by-step, which I really liked.

Vlad Ka: They run several levels of circus classes for young kids. Starting from nursery level and keeps going up in ages and difficulty. The first few years a parent / carer needs to be present, but from Year 1, the children can enjoy the time on their own guided by fantastic staff / teachers / performers. There are always great games and new apparatus that they set up to teach / learn.Very fun time for active kids.

L K: Positive:CommunicationWonderful staff, welcoming, really adaptable to disabilities and needs. Wish all places that claim to be inclusive could be like this organisation. A real gem that isn’t trying to capitalise on difference but to support differences in any way possible.

Emily Kane-Horsler: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

LE: Amazing place

Georgina Birch: I’m 51 and scared of heights, I can’t even get on a downwards escalator without pausing at the top. I did the flying trapeze with lots of help and trembling throughout. The whole day left me on a high. I was proud of myself for doing things despite being scared, but also had loads of fun and was a quick way to build arm and core strength. Whatever your age, fitness levels or your fears are about circus don’t let them stop you trying this. The teachers are patient, supportive and kind.

Chris Taylor: Entertaining

amalia ZETA: I thoroughly enjoyed my circus experience day and would love to do more. I'm 54 and it was heartening to be part of such a mixed group, all willing to give it a go. My favorite activity was the tightwire although the flying trapeze was pretty exhilerating. If I lived in London I'd be a permanant fixture. Thanks goes out to all the trainers for all their instruction, enthusiasm and zest.
