Not all the shades of yarns are available though. Also bear in mind that cash is needed for purchases less than £10 and the shop owner doesn't usually have change so you need the exact money.I only come here occasionally as the prices and lack of stock is what puts me off having this as my LYS.
Julie Plumb: Great Little Shop very reasonable prices always really really helpful
Janet Griffiths: Friendly staff , knowledgeable about their crafts. Special offers on wool at times .
Rachel Radford: Always lots in stock to choose from, helpful staff and plenty of ideas. Lovely little shop, well worth a visit for supplies for knitting, crochet, paper crafts, etc

Deb Hall: What a fabulous experience we had for my daughter's baby celebration Afternoon Tea amazing food and fantastic staff thank you ladies ☺️would highly recommend.
Anne Rutland: Love this coffee shop. Staff and customers are soooo friendly. Food is amazing and freshly cooked, and the cakes are amazing.
Olivia Quinn: Lovely cafe and gift shop. They have lots of unique gifts, definitely good to have a browse on the build up to Christmas. The food is outstanding! They have a decent range of food for a small, local cafe. Their pancake menu in particular, is worth a try. We also had the salad from their menu, which was one of the tastiest salads I’ve tried. It came with potatoes and Brie and was full of flavour. It’s a cosy environment with a friendly vibe.
Hayley Cornwell: Lovely afternoon catch up with family , good selection on menu and good selection of cakes . Great caramel machiato . Nice craft shop also available. Would recommend!
Adam Blackford: We visited today, we had coffee and some food. The sandwich and omelette were lovely and the coffee is really great - we will be visiting again and we highly recommend to give it a try if you’ve not done so yet. Very friendly and welcoming and a nice relaxing place to spend some time.
Rebecca Evans: I have no idea why it has taken me so long to visit. The wool selection is outstanding. The cakes are utterly fabulous. I booked in for afternoon tea with my mum as a belated Mother’s Day treat. We were blown away, absolutely delicious. The scones were out of this world. The fiddlesticks team are so so nice and really add to your experience/ visit. Whether you are popping in for a ball of wool, a coffee to go or even sitting down in the cosy and cute café area, You are always made to feel welcome. Many many more visits to come I think.
Charlotte Baker: I visited here today, and many times previously, with my partner for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Food is always cooked to perfection, the ambience is soothing and staff are always attentive. I can’t wait to comeback for their new ploughman’s platter.Thank you fiddlesticks!
Carole Stokes: 3 of us had breakfast this morning. We all had different and each one was delicious. Staff are lovely.
Sara Lissemore-Hipkiss: Big thank you to Michelle, Megan and the Flopping Fiddlesticks team. Had the lovely experience of enjoying one of their's homemade Rustic Platters. All of it was absolutely delicious. Cannot fault any of the food/cakes we have ever had from Fiddlesticks. If you have a sweet tooth, their homemade muffins and cakes are definitely worth the calories. Worthy of more than five stars. They work so hard to deliver a high quality service to our community. Plus you could easily spend a fortune in their craft and gift shop. I can highly recommend this shop for a visit.
Pat Whitehouse: Very welcoming. Need more knitting patterns

You are always met with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. We have been as a couple, a family and even bought our team from work. Nothing is ever too much trouble. If we could give them 10 stars we would.

James Stevens: DELICIOUS food! The cakes are very interesting and stuff you wont see elsewhere (like giant chocolate cakes embedded with melted rolos!) The takeaway service was great, really big portions with interesting sides, the subway meatball melt was insane and way superior to the local Subways! The pizza was also one of the nicest we have tasted! A really cool quirky craft shop too!
Vee Ward: What a gem we have found here! It's a craft shop /gift shop /cake shop and soon to be coffee shop. Michelle is a lovely lady and I enjoy watching her videos most days (although how busy she is I don't know how she finds the time!) If you nip in the shop, she always finds time for a chat.We recently tried her picnic treat for 2 people. Wow! We never expected so much food, all freshly cooked. We could choose our own combination of sausage swirls, cheese sticks, sandwiches, with additional pork pie, crisps and salad. Then there were the most delicious scones with clotted cream and jam. THEN 4 slices of yummy cake. It was certainly a feast. Couldn't finish it all, so next day had another treat! You MUST try it! Absolutely delicious and all freshly made on the day to order for collection when you want it.The cake display in the shop will have you swooning and it will be hard to choose which one you want! Definitely our favourite shop in the village. 🍰🍪💕
Natalie Chance: Absolutely amazing shop.... Michelle and Meg are both fabulous ladies, very friendly, helpful and back delicious cakes! Cakes, wool, candles, home deco what more could you want!
Momma Momma: Calling this gem of a place a shop is an understatement. It's a hideaway for the most delicious homemade sweet treats and a friendly natter. It is arty creators haven with different classes available for adults and children with all levels of artistic flair. The family who own it are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable they truly make a shop visit into so much more. The candles are divine and the gifts are of fine quality. You have to see it in person to truly appreciate the experience.

Christines Wool Shop: what do users think?
john carey: Brilliant
Stephanie Moustache: Best wool shop ever. You always get a personal service. I went today with an extremely old pattern and after advice I left with the perfect wool to make it my outfit more modern. Always a great choice of wool/buttons/bits and bobs. Definitely recommend 🙌🏼
Maureen Chadderton: Amazing service at Christine's Wool Shop this weekend. They're always friendly and helpful but on Saturday I walked in with some flimsy details of a sock pattern used 10 - 15 years ago and recently lost, part way through another effort at the same pattern. The lady remembered the exact one and produced a paper copy of it. What a memory, what a woman!Thank you so much.
Charo Lissenden: A hidden gem! My daughter and I were recommended this ltri wool shop, we simply got lost with the variety of wool you can find here. Superb

Joanne James: Ladies in there were really helpful. Nice selection of wool
Rebecca Drennan: Lovely ladies, very knowledgeable and helpful.
Bernadette Treacy: Excelleny service with a smile
Claudia Clemente: Really disappointed - on arriving I was asked if I needed any help to which I replied "no thanks" as I was just browsing before getting what I went in for. After I had done my browsing, I asked where something was. The shop assistant indignantly replied "it's where you were just looking" so I returned to the corner. The shop assistant then said "I did ask if you needed any help!" in a very rude tone, suggesting that she wasn't going to help me any further. Turns out I couldn't find what I was looking for because a step ladder was leaning against it. If you expect customers to not change their minds to ask for help, keep your shelves clear and accessible.
Ann Bridgewater: Great variety of wool. The lady there was so helpful and friendly. Finally found a shop that sells coloured metallic knitting needles. Definitely will be going there again. Spoiled for choice at Christine’s Wool Shop well done ladies.
Deb Lovesthis: Great local wool shop. A lot of choice for wool especially style craft. The staff are so friendly and helpful and will answer any questions you have. If they don't have something in stock they are happy to order it in for you. They also have a lot of great patterns for both knit and crochet.
Kay West: A local treasure. Packed full of all things knitting and more. Only needed six buttons but helpful staff honed in on a set which perfectly complimented the wool they were to adorn.
Janet Galloway: A lovely really pleasant location helpful and pleasant service a crafter's dream
Felicity Morgan: Great service so friendly had exactly what I needed definitely going back for all the wool
Ruth Weston: Friendly helpful staff. Lots of choice of yarns.
