Tim Shepherd: We cannot rave about these enough, fabulous food and service, a little more expensive than others but I can see why, better quality of food and care taken to ensure that you get perfection. Flavours of everyday food like potato salad and coleslaw are not your normal cheap stuff either, looks like they make from scratch with a little extra with regards to ingredients and flavours. I would definitely use them again in the future, even go as far as to say can they make my potato salad from now on!

James Moulson: Tried to book for our wedding, was all arranged then 5 weeks before the wedding failed to show up to their own pre arranged meeting, coming up with excuses. Basically forgot us. Very rude. Will not be using as don't trust them and had no faith they'd actually remember to turn up to the wedding. Maybe try communicating with customers. Now very stressed and annoyed. No apology, just a snotty email off them saying we were being unreasonable.
Yellow Glove Productions: Diane and the team provided the catering and bar for our wedding day. We wanted a Turkish inspired menu which was a bit unusual but Diane created an incredible menu from scratch just for us. All of our guests commented just how great the food was in the day and the BBQ in the evening. The ice cream cart went down a treat too!Diane's staff were all super helpful on the day and the days leading up to the wedding. The bar had all of the drinks we wanted and was well stocked throughout the night!Wish we could do it all again, thank you to Diane and the Skyline team!!

Gavin Radford: WOW, What a Company, We had these guys booked for our wedding for over two and a half years due to the pandemic, they communicated through out and nothing was too much trouble for Dianne and the team, Not only did they have to deal with difficult circumstances but also dealt with a difficult venue for us, and made sure everything was communicated and all health and safety ( electrical ) issues were sorted. However all that said it comes down to the food on the day, we picked one of the combination packages ( 2) and I can honestly recommended this to anyone, not only was presented perfectly but tasted amazing, throughout the evening we received so many positive comments and also 3 of our guests asked for Skylines Number and contact name,.... first class company and first class food :-) Thanks Diane and the team !! You wont be disappointed if you use Skyline !!

This was followed by the crepes which went down a storm . The girls serving we very professional.In the evening we had a buffet there was a very good selection the best I have seen compared to other evening buffets.We can not thank skyline enough they made our wedding. We booked them for our wedding years ago and after having to postpone due to Covid Diane was fantastic at helping us rearrange and adapt to our new numbers. We had afternoon tea for a main meal and then a hog roast in the evening. All the food was delicious and fresh and presented beautifully. This is good honest Sunday roast & the target audience is definitely mature .Went for mum in laws birthday lunch so large group 13/14 . The service was brilliant so a big thankyou if your reading!! the front of house gentleman was very professional & did over his brief .Food was fantastic in quality , portion size and value for money .I can honestly say this was as good if not better than places we've payed over £50 a head .Choice of on tap beer / lager is not extensive but backed up with some better bottled beer . We will be using again !! & while we was there booked another large party birthday dinner . The extra slice or two of meat with no quibble goes a long way ..Just got to mention the added gravy with mushroom and onion was a winner .. they did have a classic gravy too

Rob Winfield: We had a work planning meeting at this venue last night. Probably about 35 of us ate there and we were treated to what I can only describe as the most stupendous carvery i have ever eaten. I had beef and pork and the meat melted, turkey available too, cheesy mash, scrumptous roasties, yorkshire pudding, carrots,sweetcorn, garden peas and cabbage with english mustard, apple sauce and cranberry . It was marvelous and considering how many there were of us it was piping hot. An excellent way to end the evening. And for the serious eaters amongst us a bevvy of puddings both hot and cold to follow. I give it a 5 star rating to be complimented by the really friendly and only too happy staff who looked after us. Well done Shipways at The Lodge . Tremendous Job. 🙂

Charlotte Telfer: We were contacted 15 minutes before the event was due to start, and told the driver "may be unable to attend" due to an incident.Despite being told we would be kept updated, it has now been a full week and we've had no further communication or refund - despite multiple emails and phone calls from us.Every time we've contacted the customer service team - who are very polite - we've been told they are unable to resolve this directly and that someone will be in touch within 24 hours. We've had no email, phone call, or update.

All my trivial questions were answered and special requests were met. The meal boxes and all the extra's went down a treat, there was so much variety every child was happy and all our dietary requirements were met 🙂 We will be sure to book for future events, thank you ASJ catering and special thanks to Jake.
