Business type: Leisure centre
G Vo: Used multiple facilities here. Soft play, swimming and the gym. Overall very good. We must use it or loose it.
The Old Gold and Black: Great new centre but made to queue outside for the family swim on Saturday afternoon. Why not let us book online before?
Rosemary Powell: Very friendly service
Stuart Steele: Clean tidy and helpful staff
balloon drifloon: This is a review of the soft play area. Our little boy has been coming here from the she of 9ish months and we've never had a bad time. It's always clean, well staffed and has, in my opinion, the best toddler section of any of the local competitors.
Colin Moore: Totally unfair treatment of 12 to 15 years olds. They are so limited to what they can do it's seriously worth going.
Rapha gabriel Benjamin: Great family leisure centre, excellent facilities and a friendly environment
Hamidreza (Hamid): It's the greatest effort of DMBCouncil to invest and provide dudley residents with a multipurpose and modern leisure centre.
Gary cartwright: 2.50 for the soft play area on a weekday absolute bargin! £5 on the weekend
David Lane (DangerousDave_34): Here most weeks using the pool great facilities, Cafe is nice too.
Umar Ahmed: It takes too long to join this gym because you first have to pay a pro rata amount up front to cover your membership for the remainder of this month and possibly the following month. However, you cannot use the gym right away because you must first attend an introductory session, which is not offered on the day; as a result, you must wait a few days and pay £20.The process is unclear, the staff seems illiterate, and their website is difficult to navigate.
Kevin Hanson: Great place for a swim kids love it. Great staff very helpful 👍
Nick Poole: Have been a member for over 4 years. Since the opening of the new 18 million pound leisure centre the original atmosphere of somewhere that was friendly and where you could train has gone. Overcrowded with groups taking over equipment to chat on or use phones, too many people and kids for those that want to train, another example of Dudley councils poor management and greed.
Ron Welch: Swim there 5 mornings a week about to be £25 per month direct debit great value
Chris Hughes: Extremely good modern sports centre with swimming pool
Nick Marsh (Marshy): Spotlessly clean brand new swimming complex beginner's pool right next to large pool sauna costs extra!!
Lynne Smith: Brilliant facilities
Tracey Wilkes: Great place first time at the wellness centre staff are brilliant so friendly 😀 leisure centre is so nice .
Mahdia Mirza: They talk very, very badly and act racist😡😡😡😡😡😡😡They treat teenagers very badly and disrespect them, they understand that they are refugees😒😒😒😒We pay like everyone else, but the staff and reception are very rude👎👎👎
Myma “BlockyDash” Chan: Been a member for just over a year now, can't really fault the place. Showers are hot, gym is clean and the people who run the classes are great. There is a good sense of community here and lots of friendly staff to talk to.
jde 1983: SEN soft play session on a Wednesday evening is fantastic!

Essa Ayaz: Recently me and my friend got membership at david lloyds dudley. The club is amazing with range of facilities. The customer service experience was nice .Kiran expalined evertything to us and gave us the club tour.she was amazing and knowledgeable and we were really happy with the customer care provided. The only thing which stop me from giving a 5 star is the prices are a bit high and also the range of other david lloyds club the members can use is limited. Thanks
Ann Rides: Had some spa treatments with my daughter for mother's day, amazing facial & pedicure, would love to go more often, first time I've ever had a facial which included a head massage, neck, shoulders & arm massage's, lovely & relaxing & gorgeous aromas & soothing music, had a brilliant time.
99 99: Around £270 for membership fee upfront and £89 a month for 3 months witch is there minimum , this is for the plus membership and you don't even get a towel , hardly ever any room in the spa either,
Lorraine Gibbons: Fabulous gym...
Ad Kendall: Excellent facilities. Membership expensive
Omer malik: Racist customer service. Being continuously commented on when I do sth, while at the same time, person from another race/color are not.Being platinum member paying over £160 per month for family, was literally denied 2 towels.Every rep has their own thing going. There are few good ones but very bad experience overall. Especially when I feel that it’s my color/race that sparks them to comment/instruct/misbehave or deny me service. While others are not being treated same right at that moment.
Dawn Morris: A nice quiet swim and a relax in the steam room and jacuzzi.
simon white: Excellent facilities would love membership to be affordable
anthony russell: Visited here on a guest pass and was highly impressed. Used the indoor and outdoor pools, both great. Steam room was out of order the day I visited but did use the sauna which was fine. Upstairs gym was very big with a few different areas depending on what and how you want to train. Also used the indoor tennis courts which were brilliant. All in all a very pleasant visit finished off with a hot drink from the cafe 👍
Asd Asd: Lack of information about their membership fee.
Martin Wood: This place needs a complete shakeup from top to bottom not value for money
Tell the truth Ruth: Don't know anything about it.but do know it's one of them what I call FLOATING emails I didn't ASK for
dannii perkins: Could do with some serious updates and a good through freshen up to be honest. Staff are helpful and the kids section is brilliant idea so adults can go to the gym!
Andrew Hackett: First time I've been here , impressed with it
cosmin Petre: Not sure who is in charge of communications/customer service at the Dudley centre but defo is not doing the right thing. Im trying to get my money back for some classes my daughter's been enrolled for without my agreement since the 3rd of December, sent multiple emails, enquiries via the app, requested call backs , been at the reception 4 times. still...they ignored all communication and wont process that refund. to say they play hardball with customers is an understatement and I would advise anyone thinking to join to think twice or be very carefull with them as they overcharge you or enroll you for different classes without your knowledge and thereafter ignore all your attempts to get rid of these charges! the point of this business is to help people relax but instead you have to chase money they take without your agrement !Such a shame and so unprofessional!
Eric Koffi: Frankly I was at my ease. Welcoming staff and everything is there to feel good about yourself.
Malcolm Teague: DL's is a great place to go to workout or relax.Indoor, and outdoor pools, restaurant and additional classes.
Paul M: Very poor had an issue with the app/class booking system along with the sales Team they each came out with different pricing.Raised this issues with head office who then put me back to the salesman Monty where he was extremely rude accross the phone and even lied on receiving a email from head office.Since this I have raised the issue back to head office, having trained for the last 15 years at different gyms I've got to say I have never had an experience like this before that until now which is a shame customer's should not receive this kind of service.
Tk barber Barber: Turkish cutz scissors nethertonBEST BARBER AT NETHERTON HIGHT STREET
Kam Kaur: Came back after 10 years. It needs a refurbishment, looks tired.
Swan V: Be very careful at this overpriced gym, a lot of other reviews mention the poor state of the facilities, but there is also a problem with theft! The staff seem aware, but the gym isn't in the best of area's.

Waldemar Bubel: Nice colorful pool, clean cabins and showers. I highly recommend to spend time with children.
Chris Hadley-Evans: Good and enjoyable plenty for our little one too enjoy 😉
Amy Vella: Amazing the children absolutely loved it here 😊
Paul Adams: After spending many a Happy time at this place when younger and now with my own kids I can honestly say the place never gets older . although i was extremely disappointed today that when I went there that the cafe had closed . . this is unbelievable after a hour swimming it was always nice to go up to the cafe for food . made the experience more enjoyable. today how ever I with my kids had to walk around looking for a place just to sit and eat . .when you go to a place like crystals having food on offer is a must . . needs sorting out . .
John Neale: Good leisure pool, good wave machine and slides. The refurbished changing area is really good. Showers are hot.
Hayley Myatt: Fun brilliant for the kids
James Cordell: Good place for fun with waves and parkings for cars. Not so good for parking with motorhomes. We parked alongside the park round the corner.
Kevin Smith: Always enjoy the pool at CLC, water seems colder than normal but once you get in, its ok.... My 2yr old grandson loves it.
primemerlinian: Very good! Very nice!
Matt Mason: Drove for 50 minutes from Codsall today with my daughter to be told the pool is closed due to staff shortages. Waste of time and fuel, thanks a lot.
Adam: Great family pool. We went for my sons birthday and he loved it.
Jennifer Woolford: Could do with updating which may be in the pipeline. The centre seems to provide every sports facility and is always in use.
kane duffy: Best pool in a 10mile radius
Simon Roden: Great and safe place to take the kids 💯
Amy Lewis: The white flooring around the pool is so dangerous, every time I go, I see someone slip over in it. Both my kids and me have also slipped on it in the past.Went to the SEN session, and was a bit disappointed to see that given the nature of the session, additional life guards weren't on duty. The changing village isn't that great, the vents above the shower cubicles need cleaning- they are absolutely disgusting! To say the amount of money rhat has recently been spent, I really don't see the leisure pool being open long term. Poorly maintained and the " newly" painted slides- well the paint is peeling already!
Benjamin O'Brien: why swimming at 9:30. clean and warm Channing rooms (considering how cold you can be getting out the pool), well staffed, plenty of lockers in good condition, 4 family changing rooms maybe 5 (might have miss counted), the pool is clean and warm, they do use allot of chlorine in the water but can't blame them, all parts of the pool are in good order and fun with the kids and the slides are great as always.very friendly and helpful staff.
Lee Stephenson: On Friday 17 February iGot the grand children and drove to Stourbridge to have a swim on arrival was told pool was closed to a private party .nothing on website and was told to phone next time now it Friday the 24 Feb I have now phone twice and it has rang out for 5 minutes and no answer very poor service
Glenn Westwood: Quiet lane swim off peak so cant talk about the main times. Put was.clean too
Susan Parsons: Kids love it
Asd Asd: Absolutely unclear membership fee.
Catherine Aspinall: Everywhere needs a serious refurb

Dawnanne Fazey: New renovations look good and facilities are clean. However as a past regular swimmer there, I am very disappointed about some aspects. When the pool was updated, it was a pity the windows in the changing rooms were also not changed as it is still freezing when coming out of the pool. This pool no longer caters for older people who still like to keep fit but do not want to do constant lengths.I also tried to bring my grandson's who wanted to learn to dive However I could not find a time to do this. We were also turned away on a Saturday because we wCould not garentee our grandson's Could do continuous lengths. Overall very disappointed as the pool no longer caters for casual swimmers
melvyn evans: Enough going on and equipment to Keep you happy
Neil Jenkins: Went to look at wellness centre good tour given and machines seen looking forward to joining
Glynis Wall: Have been coming swimming on Tuesday morning with my sister since reopened. It's much cleaner than Haden Hill made mistake last week and went to haden Hill won't make that mistake again.Staff are much more pleasant.
Larisa Lemishko: It's a good swimming pool, but too crowded
jason burton: A great leisure centre turned up for a swimming competition an all round good experience
zu1875lu: Very poor staff and organisational skills. Twice phoned in a fortnight to see if pool was open for general public only to arrive and them say its not. When I mentioned that I phoned to check their responses were 'its on the website' in a very condescending manner. Not everyone has available Internet hence the phone calls!!! Poor and a waste of time. The apology felt extremely forced and half hearted.
Mervyn Jackson: Potentially excellent facilities, the staff are friendly and helpful. Sensibly priced cafe but food is sometimes good, sometimes could do better.EDIT: Sadly the changing rooms and poolside are dirtier on every visit. Today parents / guardians were walking poolside with outdoor shoes on creating a wet trail of dirt from the changing room to the swimming area. Staff are friendly but seem ineffectual at controlling the dirt.On the last 2 weekday visits the pool was advertised as being fully open. In fact only half the pool was in use. The reason given was staff shortage and insufficient demand, however the number of people in the water made a nonsense of this reason. Almost impossible to swim without being kicked or getting in someone's way. The newly printed timetable (mid Feb 2023) just says that only part of the pool may be in use. The website is totally out of date regarding this. Such a shame for what could/should be an excellent facility.
Mark Halpin: So clean
Jamie Biggs: Staff were super helpful and friendly
Anthony Latham: I've given a mid rating because I cant rate the facility as I've only used the cafe I go in most days for a cuppa, the free mince pie the one visit was a nice treat and @ £2 for a mug of tea it's not the best value in the area.
المرشد في السويد Guiden i Sverige: Helesowen Leisure Center has undergone renovation and enhancement. Visitors are welcomed by the pool in its new form. The main gym is crowded and well-equipped, but the coffee shop and kids' play area are wonderful bonuses. Both the wellness suite and the staff are excellent. The centre is well-kept, bright, and clean. The wheelchair-accessible center's restrooms were spotless. The town of Halesowen gains a lot.
Wendy Hollis: Good when newly refurbished . But of late, so disappointed with the neglect of cleanliness of the pool area and toilets, no soap, no paper towels, for 4 weeks the toilet bowls were in a disgusting state!!!! Poolside gritty and dirty brown, I overheard others making negative comments about the lack of cleanliness. Come on Dudley , make an inspection and see for yourself. ,!, so sad to see it go downhill so quickly. Have been swimming there for over 50 yrs😞😒
Marg Green: Lovely place clean go smimming twice a week there nice staff
Craig Downe: Excellent training facility, great equipment, well run, pleasure to be a member.
Andrew Gordon: Went there for my grandson's birthday party. It was very well organised. The place is bright and airy and very clean. The staff do an excellent job.The food served was very good and the service was excellent. The toilet was spotless. There is good wheelchair accessibility.
Maggie McKinnon: First time to visit. Staff and fellow swimmers are very friendly. Lovely and clean. Excellent leisure centre. One teeny tiny thing which doesn't alter the experience. Would it be possible to maybe have a spinner for swimming costumes.
James Prowett: The seating overlooking the pool really bad uncomfortable digs into your sides by metal do not recommend sitting there won't be coming again
Chris bates: Great refurb
Waled Munasar: Really love what they have done with the place but just needs more slots for family swims
Pam Clark: The refurbishments are really great and the centre is no more welcoming. I love the fact that you can see the pool when you enter the centre, great coffee shop and play area for young children. Main gym brilliant but can be very busy. The wellness suite is a great addition. Staff are great.
