I asked for size 6 trainers today the man gave me them in a box telling they’re size 6 just to find out from the cashier that they were actually a size 5 but luckily they went and found the actual size 6 for me.. so that’s one thing to thank them for!

Keith Spokes: Travelled 30 minutes, arrived 10 minutes before advertised closing time to be told I couldn’t go in. Don’t advertise your Sunday closing time at 5 pm if you don’t let anyone in after 4.50pm. If you have to close entry at 4.50pm then advertise it as such!

Neil Samuels: Is this place under new management? I used to frequent sports direct in merry hill quite often, so when I went there this weekend I was shocked at how things have gone downhill. There were 2 tills open with a queue of around 30 customers. There was clearly surplus staff on the shop floor that could have assisted, I did suggest this and was told that it had already been suggested to management, but yet I had to wait 15 minutes to make my purchase. I am also disgusted with the explicit music that was being played. Do these places not have a radio friendly playlist?Anyway, I think that's my last visit there for the near future.

Marie Rhodes-Brown: Very poor customer service whilst looking at trainers with my children. Lack of interest in customers , no alternative choice offered when sizes unavailable. Lady on the til was friendly but the shop floor staff are obviously not bothered about their job, customers are seen as a hindrance! Good prices on stock but that's about it . Awful.

Caitey Bennet: I came in to enquire about some shoes and see if they had my size in the ones I was interested in. I was stood around waiting whilst the one person checking shoe sizes was busy with a large group. I decided to ask another member of staff and she rudely told me she couldn’t check the size for me because she wasn’t working in that area at that time. So I was expected to wait for however long instead of her checking for me or then getting another member of staff on. I was so disappointed and will not return. Majority of the staff here are so miserable and I’m sure that they aren’t like this as people, maybe the store don’t treat them right but it was just an awful experience. Please train your staff further and ensure they’re happy to be at work because the attitude and vibe of the store was poor

Ashley Ali: I would give it less than 1 star but I can't, I paid for a pair of trainers came back home and the girl on the counter charged me twice, so I came back told her what she'd done and asked for a refund the refund was done but I didn't even get an apology, even if I checked the receipt there and then it would still take 3-5 working days for the money to go back in my account and because I've been there today which is a Saturday it's going to take longer, now I'm over drawn so thanks sportsdirect, I know they don't get paid that much but manners don't cost nothing

Helen Williams: Absolutely disgusted with the customer service and attitude of all the staff that work in this awful store. So rude, unhelpful and need a lesson in how to treat customers. I bought s number of swim shorts for my husband, none of them fit correctly as there didn't seem to be enough material around the legs. I spoke to the assistant, rude and unhelpful. No refund only credit note. Spike to another two members of staff who called themselves manager s but I don't think they were. No refund unless item faulty. How can they get away with is policy. £68 credit note given but in the future I will not be shopping there again. Staff couldn't care less about how they treat you and the items your buying. Close the store down.

Liam checked my sons new trainers and literally rammed them in the box, did sort the paper, the laces nothing. I told him I am paying for this item, the least you could do is place it back as you found it. Not rough it up and ram in it. It's like the shoe pee'd him off or angered him. I was completely annoyed at this action. Other staff would not help me speak to the manager.

Mr A: Great store for many sports, huge ranges and suitable for people at different levels of sport from beginners to pros, also go to for outdoor activities mainly for us football cycling and scooters, we have bought multiple bikes and scooters from this store for the kids, so it’s only normal when they come to store they want to ride the bike that’s like “theirs”, staff are very polite and welcoming makes for a more enjoyable shop especially with two toddlers, will be returning as always

Recieved an email to say this would be delayed. 2 days later I was given an update to say that some of the items were going to be at least 2 months and another indefinite date. I'd been charged for all items and been told they won't send any items until all items are in stock. I asked for a full refund and no response within 24hr. Very disappointing service all round!How can you charge for goods you don't have?

I knew I wouldnt be selected because he asked my age during the interview, and just in my early 30s he needed to ask my age????Yes, I was right, I wasnt selected. Well, we can assume he was looking for younger people to pay less, though his response was that I am asking your age because you will be entitled for a higher pay.Such people are a shame and responsible for wasting time.

Top was too small but no exchange or returns accepted desire item not having been worn.Items arrived promptly, as long as you know exactly what size you need you are fine but otherwise be prepared to buy two or three items and chuck them away if they don't fit.

David Shattock: Terrible experience!!I would never normally leave a review but the conduct of this company motivated me into action. I Purchased football kit for Nephew at Christmas which came in wrong size. Company would not accept returns or refund despite never being worn. Beware this is not clearly identified on website. Customer service experience was truly awful, both rude and dismissive and I would strongly advise never, ever purchasing through this company to avoid disappointment.

Ryan: This place does not cater for disabilities and is ignorant of the law. I was stopped from entering the building because I was not wearing a face mask, which I do not wear due to my disability. I was then told I would not be able to enter without showing proof for my exemption. I took a step forward to show the ignorant and paranoid staff member the law of the land he lives in, that the hidden disabilities equality act states I do not need to show evidence for my disability if I do not want to and I was also going to show the gov.uk website stating no proof for mask exemption is required. When I took this step forward the double masked man put his hand out in my face and said "2m please". Either he doesn't believe his masks work or doesn't believe the social distancing works but regardless I was told that it's in their risk assessment and there's nothing they can do. From this I've gathered that their risk assessment is ignorant of the law and does not cater for disabilities or perhaps they believe it is more important than the law and peoples health. The staff were very rude in their responses and I left due to this matter and also for my health as I could have had a serious attack had I entered with a mask.

As a sports club secretary I have tried several different UK based companies over the years and have been disappointed on numerous occasions but Vesey UK have been top notch from day one. We're confident that Vesey/discount football kits can get the stock that they advertise (even adidas) and they always contact us if things are unavailable and they answer emails or phone calls promptly. Setting up a club shop through them was very easy and it was free, there are no minimum targets and they update the stock annually when new products come out, they even give a rebate, something other sites didn't offer.

Then they will inform you that the "supplier" doesn't have stock. They want your money then pray yhThis is where the problems begin.You will then enter a black hole of refunds. You will have to, no kidding, provide scanned copies of bank statements and photo IDs before they will give you your own money back.You use online banking so no statements? Your problem, no refund. Fill out a lengthy and privacy invading form and hope for the best.This was a purchase of kits for a football club and so not an insignificant purchase. This was for a lot of kit.They still have my money.At all points they have been unhelpful and have reminded me of the "computer says no" character from Little Britain.This was the first and last time using this company. Pro Direct for me going forwards.Be aware. Dodgy as hell.

M Roberts: Poor customer service. We wore newly purchased shirts three times and they’ve clicked. They’ve been printed with logo/badge, sponsor and kit number. This dos is £120 plus £60 for the shirts. When I’ve contacted customer services they told me to send photos as proof. I did this. Then I was asked to send the kits in. So what are we going to wear for our next game. Won’t give us a return or exchange without giving the items back for ‘investigation’. TS3 sports is where we’ll stick to now thank you very much.
