4worldlovers: The Edwin Newton Braizer Rifle Range, which the Stourbridge Old Edwardian Rifle Club uses, is approved for rifles using pistol calibres, .22 rifles of various types and air pistol and all members would be able to shoot up to .44 calibre rifle with pistol calibres as well as the .22 rim fire rifle.

Shoots are held on a Wednesday evening from 7.30 p.m. and Thursday from 8pm onwards at the Range in Porlock Road, Stourbridge.

For those interested in trying their hand, the range has capacity for up to four shooters at any one time on either 25 yards, .22 rim fire rifle points or on 20 yards pistol points. The club holds a number of rifles and pistols of various calibres, namely .22 rim fire (Left and right handed), .38 special, .357, and .44 that new and existing members can use, so even if you are new to the sport we should be able to cater for most.

Our Clay Pigeon Ground welcomes Shotgun Certificate Holders and Non-Certificate Holders. For our Certificate holders, the main Shooting Ground consists of a Skeet, Sporting and DTL layout. These are all suitable for both novice and advanced users. We also have Shotgun Coaches available who can assist with tuition if required.

The Airgun Range has a Plinking Shelter which has become very popular over the last few years. This is open to individuals or you can join the Millride Field Target Club which meets every week at the site.

We and our members are very proud of what we have achieved at Lea Marston Shooting Club over the last 50+ years. With an investment of over 1 million pounds our ground has changed unrecognisably.


You may have seen the Sport England Logo around our shooting facilities. We proudly display this showing that our shooting ground is now partially funded by the Inspired Facilities Lottery Fund. This has made us one of the few shooting grounds in the UK with disabled and wheelchair access.

Membership is £50 per year with a £50 initial joining fee pro-rata January-January. As a member, you will be entitled to discounted clays, discounted tuition, unlimited access to our covered archery & air gun range, FREE function room hire, and will have exclusive accessto member-only deals.

Whenever you shoot on our ground, your cartridges MUST be fiber wad and a maximum of 28g. If you don't have any fibre wad cartridges we do sell them on-site from the office, located in the shooting lodge. Cartridges can be brought with a valid shotgun license, and we currently stock ELEY.

Do you want to learn how to shoot? Or maybe you have shot before but still require instruction. We have many packages for all levels of shooters including private tuition, clay targets, ammunition, and PPE.

License holders can enjoy a private 1:1 instructed lesson, getting rid of any bad habits, adjusting position if required, and determining your dominant eye. We can also help with any gun fitting requirements.

Located at Aldersley Leisure Village, Wolverhampton, it is the home to club shooters, regional, and national squads. Many organisations with links to target shooting regularly use the centre.

There is also an indoor 6 lane 25 metre range. The range caters for .22 rimfire, airguns 177 & .22 up to 12 ft/lbs & archery.

The centre also has 24 covered firing points on the outdoor range for 25yds, 50mtr & 100yds - 22lr rimfire rifle only.

The centres shop provides shooting supplies and light refreshments. A meeting/classroom and full toilet facilities are available. The centre is disabled friendly.

For casual customers and beginners equipment is available for hire, and instruction is available from qualified staff. Events, such as competitions, leagues, and instruction can be arranged for any group of users. For established shooters of all levels, the Centre has facilities and its own club to support your shooting aims.
