Gary Wilcox: I ordered a takeaway from spices and was told it would be delivered in one hour, all my details were taken from me and read back ....One and a half hours later I still had no curry!When I called they said they had taken the wrong number down and would do an urgent delivery for me.Twenty minutes later it finally arrived freezing cold and then dropped out of the bottom of the bag so as you can imagine I'm not to happy with spices and won't be using them again
Boosha Boo: The reason for the 2 stars is not the food or service which as usual is very good. It's for the state of the ladies toilets which are really appalling. It doesn't matter about being pretty but, there are very poor locks on the cubicle doors. Nowhere to hang a coat or handbag, and a leaking toilet. No toilet roll. Really does spoil the place.
A Peb: 5 of us ate here last night. We were pleasantly surprised at how many people were eating here on a freezing Tuesday January evening (sign of good food). The place had a nice cozy atmosphere, they play a good mix of music genre's, including 80s tracks, my favorite.The staff were friendly, attentive and looked after us all really well.Food was delicious 😋 we all enjoyed our choices, house was was reasonable at £9.95 a bottle. Service was spot on.Plenty of parking at the rear.I would definitely recommend.

Michelle Bateman: I've been a long standing customer of Aashiqs however the food quality has deteriorated considerably. I'm not sure if they are under management as I've not seen anyone I recognise from previous times.We ordered a takeaway tonight which we do on a regular - ish basis, tonight the balti was absolutely tasteless with water on our plates which was coming out of the food. Absolutely not acceptable especially when it cost us £30 !! We will not be returning.

Technicator: I've been ordering delivery from this restaurant weekly recently. Last week we made an order, food came quickly was hot and delicious. Then coincidently I saw a post of Facebook with many emojis of sick faces on a story of Aashiqs hygiene rating which was one star. We were highly disappointed and were put off from finishing our food which wasn't cheap. I had also been ordering from their own app and collected kudos credits. It's a real shame because trust me the food is delicious but you just can't trust food that you don't see being prepared and the one star was given for a reason. I'm still gonna award them top stars because every time I ordered the food was on point and I haven't been ill. I hope they read this. That rating will ruin your business, you have to pull out all stops and get a 5 star rating now. It's the only way to recover from a one star. You've lost a customer here but I'll keep watching your progress. Get a higher rating and I'll run back. Good luck guys. DJ

Staff and customer (collecting food) had a disagreement resulting in restaurant member of staff swearing at customer within ear shot of restaurant customers being able to hear, the member of staff then went on to talk about customer to restaurant users. Would not return in a hurry 😩😩

Angela Taylor: Booked a table for new years eve.Very attentive when first arrived ! Think to inform us it was a set menu that we did not get told about at time of booking. Ok for £20 per head, however starter was a mix of frozen bits, then a curry and rice or Nan and prosecco, which the men in our party didn't want. It was impossible to get a round of drinks...... Missed out on many ££££, took ages for bill and each course. We had booked an early table as going on else where to celebrate. Ok. Will not rush to return. Decor of restaurant pleasant.
benteye2: Have used this restaurant several time’s now and the meals have all been excellent, minor wait whilst meal is prepared but well worth it, on this occasion had chicken and mushroom Balti with Peshawar Nan and chicken korma. Have also dined in and the service, decor and staff are first rate. Recommend wholeheartedly.
Terry Thomas: I have used this restaurant many times in the past. How ever I went for aeal there on Saturday night. And the lamb was awful on everybody's meal who had lamb mine was one of the chefs special and the meat was very tough and grisserly my meal was exchanged for something else I had a chicken tikka which was ok. But definitely not the best as it always was I think a previous review was probably right under new managment. Cheap food.

Dave Colling: Never seen such a fantastically large portion of special balti. But it was bland and made from what I thought was tinned tomatoes due to the tomatoes I found in it. Egg fried rice and keema naan were fine. Staff were excellent though. A ton of poppadoms and chutneys given on entering and bill was £14 a head. Good value but lack of any flavour let it down in the balti.Location excellent for Brierley Hill Town Hall.Take your own drinks.

Debra Cox: Very disappointing visit!Looks busy whenever we pass by but no idea why because I can cook a better curry at home.The food is quite possibly frozen, the curries are watery and tasteless, the rice is bland and again possibly from a pouch.The naan bread is inedible, dry and doughy.Staff are all wearing their own clothes, no uniforms etc. The tables are so close together they may aswell be altogether!Overall one of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever been to and definitely won't be returning.

Iram Zhara: Just been to this local jem! Wow!!! Seriously amazing food and quite cheap as well for very big portions. Cant beleive it's been around for nearly 50 years and I've only just heard of it. Staff were so kind and friendly, offering great service and honestly going above and beyond. Food was tasty and really kicked the ball out of the park. Not enough space to keep complimenting because this was no ordinary dine out, it was an experience.

Stuart Smith: Has been taken over by the original kaben team great food. The restaurant has undergone a massive renovation and looks visually stunning matched by great food and friendly staff. Excellent food great atmosphere very busy at peak times reservations would be advised.

Terry Street: This place has now changed its name to Blue Ball the name of the pub it used to be before it became a restaurant.It's been refurbished and looks very smart inside, staff are friendly and helpful. There are nice touched like free coffee with a meal. Although they charge for poppadoms which other place provide free so it balances out.Menu has a good choice and helpings are adequate.Toilets are clean but tiny!
