The Maiden: Great store. Lots to buy and choose from. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Came in here for my dachshunds second vaccine. Appointment was at 9:40am and didn't get called in until after 10am.

Seat: Always big queues, and only 1 person on the till who is always very slow service. Everything is also very overpriced apart from their own brand goods which is sub par quality across the board. Only reason I would come is to buy one of the pets. If you value your time avoid this place!
Kelly Element: Absolutely disgusting the way the safe think they can talk to you went in to buy my daughter a hamster asked for assistance had a lady come round who had a bad attitude problem told me i had to buy a cage i said im aware the cage i picked out stated it was for a siberian hamster large cage with outer fitted tubes she was so rude and snapped at me that i had to have the £45 one after stating there isnt a £45 one that its £35 she snapped at me again no you need the £45 one so i said forget it i well go else where for her response to be YES THATS FINE, Think pets for homes need to sort there staff out if they spoke to people better they would get on so much better extremely rude and unprofessional i well be sending a complaint to head office as well
maggie zhao: I don’t want to give them any star, there’s horrible after sale service. After you pay, they are never care, they told me they’re just in the middle without responsibility. I brought a bag of puppy food, it’s making my puppy diarrhea with blood, we been to vets 3 times. I bring the more than half of the puppy food with me to talk to refund, Bcs it’s unreasonable to pay anything make my puppy sick. They don’t do anything, and let me to contact the brand myself. It’s a very bad service. Let me feel if I eat something wrong in the restaurant, the restaurant ask me to contact the farmers.

J ase: - REPTILE OWNERS DO NOT BOTHER -The reptile bulb rack is usually half empty but I occasionally manage to get the bulb I need from here, so I buy a few. I pay cash and didn't ask for a receipt. I have had cracked bulbs as well as bulbs used in the box completely burnt out. I have had to bin them and take a loss here.The frozen rodents are absolutely repulsive, emanating pungent, foul smells when defrosted. I have since switched suppliers to a small independent pet shop that specialises in reptiles to be able to source the products I need for my beloved pets, and their products are also cheaper!Pets at Home is made to look good from the outside by having visually appealing layouts, and sometimes, staff that are experienced with animals. However, it would be in their best interest to employ people with knowledge of warehousing, returns & stock control, and to actually stock the products advertised on the shelves.If you want an overpriced bag of dog food on the same day (queuing times at the till are a joke, even with three staff members on and barely anyone in the queue), maybe this is the place for you.If it's reptile products you're looking for... Look elsewhere or regret your decision. You're welcome!

I said look they aren’t near the fish please just grab me them I don’t need to Go over myself...,They refused and were rude and dismissive. The manager also said there are only three members of staff so they are too busy to serve me.... they other two staff Members are standing there chatting doing nothing while he’s telling me this. They seemed racist as I can’t see another reason for the way they looked at or spoke to us. Will be cancelling my membership and never shop there again And will tell all family and friends to avoid it. Get better staff

Anthony Small: Shocking service, had a faulty pump for a fish tank. Went to try and get it changed. Both members of staff, one being the manager were very unhelpful. The manager was not interested in my solution. Was not willing to listen. Had a very civil conversation whilst the security staff member stood over me staring at me. An absolute waste of time and will never shop with them ever again. Ironically went to the droitwich branch and got it exchanged straight away with no argument. Shame on you Hagley Road pets at home. Only put one star because Google made me..!!!
LadyJai: Nice well laid out and stocked shop with all the essential pet items you need. It's also nice that dogs are welcomed inside the shop instead of having to leave the outside.Not the biggest Pets at Home I have been in, but certainly one of the friendliest. The staff are approachable and extremely helpful, there is parking directly outside the shop and at the side of the block of shops. Will definitely go in there again.

We've decided to change our puppies diet to raw, Charlie couldn't help enough walked us through the entire feeding routine and how to adjust him from dry to raw, even reccomending specific items based on our puppy. They couldn't help enough. Ellie was super helpful and friendly at the till and loved the pictures of the puppy. We will definitely be back to continue shopping for his food and for any advice, taking your dog up is a must, our puppy will definitely be coming up for a visit too, a friendly and pet welcoming atmosphere, the range of snacks and toys will make for a great trip out for any pet.

**: After trying to obtain a particular Kong toy for my dog I called Just For Pets. Suzanne went out of her way to get what I wanted and kept me updated at all times. Even when it was proving difficult to get what I wanted she persevered and came up with the goods! From the moment I first spoke to her it was so refreshing to deal with someone who genuinely wanted to help and go above and beyond to help me. Although this pet shop is out of my way it will now always be my first choice for anything I need.

Ben Cooper: Blue Cross are an incredible charity. We were looking to re-home a dog. When we visited Blue Cross we were able to play with the dog, walk with it on a lead, and then were shown several videos of the dog interacting with other dogs, traffic, other people, runners, etc. We were also given loads of general info about dogs, behaviour, and how best to care for them.
Emma Burns: I have been to a couple of the fun days hosted by the Blue Cross. It is a great atmosphere, they are super friendly and you can tell just how much they love and care for all the animals in their care.

kirsty alcock: We called to see if there were any kittens and told there was a sister pair. They were healthy kittens and happy for us to sit with them. Our home and location was checked over and within 2 weeks we had our beautiful kittens home.....10 years later they are still bringing us joy
Michelle Fraser: I rehomed 2 beautiful cats who were brothers from here. I drove from Southampton to collect them. It's the best journey I've ever made. I totally recommend this centre. The staff are so friendly and helpful, can't fault them in any way.
Griff Goes Gaming: Excellent staff really friendly and informative, really helped us understand what we were going to need to do and providing support for us. But most of all they have the animals best interest at the heart of everything they do a very worthy cause , if you can support their work.
Maria Carolina: This shelter have a so called "no update" policy. For me fostering two cats that I needed help with finding a home for, it's just not good enough. To request from a new home to send one or two updates is not that difficult and should be mandatory. I've spent thousands of pounds and countless nights awake caring for these cats when they've been in between life and death and now because I am requesting help with finding them a new loving home as I've already got cats since before and I simply can't keep them all, I'm supposed to be completely cut off with not a single update. So is it better for them to stay in a home where they don't get the time or life that they deserve? How many people finally make the decision about giving their cats up and then get put off by the fact that they will never hear anything and for that reason keep cats that they really shouldn't. It really is a shame.
