Bushey Fields Hospital: what do users think?
SODOUIPRIKUMO STEPHANIE: Taking care of patients in need
Neil Durnall: My daughter has had 5 stitches in her left arm for nearly 5 weeks now. I've spoken on numerous occasions to the staff there about this situation and my pharmacy that stated the stitches shouldn't remain in after 2 weeks. Dissatisfaction is not the word. 🤔 🤬🤬🤬
Jon zyzyzz: Lunatics
Mart Hudson: Send your cards to this place.. christmas birthday Gladstone gander scroogeSend them all and the bank will not do a thing to stop you.Yeah... :)
iTz Youngie: It’s a mess doctors don’t care or listen to you nobody has time to talk and everything in there is just a joke nobody cares in there and the place is dire. The nurses are clueless and it’s a horrible place to go to.
Marina Wassell: My daughter lives below a patient of busy fields he's only been there 2 weeks and has been allowed home ! Hes been abusive, & aggressive, , his next of kin hasn't been given any information regarding his care , its just a waiting game as to what damage or life he will take out !! Bushy fields will have blood on their hands
Strix: Better off watching breaking bad.
Luke Whittaker: Not a place to be, many strange comments recieved, mind games, place didn't feel right , husband called and was told things happened on days they didn't which he noticed, scary place, very strange comments for a place to help deal with mental health, patients saying they knew there was a reason they were in their when I was in their asked questions about paintings on the walls , n short staffed on nurses medication sometimes given out by someone called lily, night staff were not friendly, queried being given a drug which wasn't part of my medication, got calmed down when tried to chase this up with my doctor just as I was about to tell him., blood pressure had to be taken straight away as heart was slowing with what they had given
Karen Tujrner: My son was patient in bushyfields for 17 days in that time they gave me no information regarding my son's care , and I rang or visited him everyday . They took him to an appointment with to his cardiac clinic and he was allowed to walk out .I had no phone call to tell me my son had escaped the first I knew of it was when he walked into my house . I live 2mile away from his appointment and it's an easy half hour walk . Within 15 mins of him being home he was cuffed by the police andtaken back , still no phone call to explain how this was allowed to happen The next day they moved him and even though I had visited him in the morning they didn't call to let me know he had been moved . The first I heard about it was when I rang bushyfields to ask how he was . The staff I spoke to on his visits were all nice to me but the information regarding my son's care was abysmal . He is in the care of another hospital now and I will be asking a lot more questions this time ..
Kevin Thomas: Very professional. Kind. Only a phone call away if you have problem.
angela bradley: I find them really helpful i only have phone call appointments as the moment due to covid but apart from that the mAn i speak to is lovely i dont know why people keep putting them down as they try there best
Craig Taylor: I’d like to thank all the staff for there hard work what they do behind the scenes they treat you with dignity and respect from the moment I arrived my mind was put at rest. There are to many names to mention but I would like to thank Neil,Becki,Lilly,Sam,Tracy,Stella and Sim to mention a few for putting my mind at rest and for being very professional and understanding, keep up the good work guys and to the rest of the staff thank you for making me feel comfortable and making the most out of the my situation..Great service great people I was quite sad to leave there..but onwards and upwards ☺️
Adrian W.: APPOINTMENTS SUPPOSED TO BE EVERY 4 TO 6 WEEKS SO I BEEN PROMISED SINCE 2014. ALL THE HELP I RECEIVED IS 20 MINUTES/TWICE A YEAR WITH SHRINK THAT NEVER LISTEN. NOW TELEPHONE ISN'T EVEN PROVIDE. WHY TAX PAYERS MONEY ARE WAIST ON THEM. SHUT THIS SCAM DOWN!
ruth smith: I spent a week at bushy fields. You are treated like cattle. Eat, sleep, meds, repeat. No talking therapy offered. No stimulation day or night. The staff constantly mock and laugh at the patients and it becomes a self sustaining care system between the patients rather than the staff looking after them. My property was taken and used by the staff for personal gain without my permission and one of my charging wires was lost (even though they are locked up due to the risk of strangulation) so I am unsure of how that has come about due to the fact that I left it in my prescribed locked area. Most of the staff administering the medication did not even know what they were giving me and on several occasions I noticed that they gave the patients the wrong medications and it was the patients themselves that had to flag up the fact that the medications were incorrect. The staff use sectioning as punishment for things that could be dealt with through a simple compassionate discussion and they often try to criminalize the patients even though some have very complex issues. Institutionalization is rife in this place. Trauma and upset are dealt with via punishment in this place. I left feeling patronized, trivialized and was turfed out with no hint of aftercare despite being on strong medication and was told my treatment is done and must leave immediately with no understanding of how difficult that may be to arrange. I really feel for all who I left behind. The large majority of staff are bullies. Some of course have their heart in the right place and are absolutely lovely but that is unfortunately in the large minority.
SIan Traynor: Absolutely shocking. They put my partner on Benzos, he was on them for 7 months, my partner sufferers with Aspergers syndrome, as well as depression, Anxiety, and agoraphobia, the home treatment team comes out asks him a few questions and puts him on promazine, venafalxine, and Diazipam. Now they have been out for the past 2 and a half weeks to now discharge him from their care, they done this knowing my partner didn't have enough medication to last. Now we have been waiting 3 DAYS for them to send a fax to my partners GP to say they can start writing his script. He went up to Russlles Hall to be told that he is on the wrong medications. If you need help with your mental health don't go to them, they haven't though about my partners mental health or the mental health of his family who have to try and get him through a Benzo addiction. WELL DONE Bushyfields, get someone addicted to something then refuse to help him with his meds or to even try and ween him off them. Utterly shocking bedside manners.
Abi Hope: Absolutely atrocious! Vile, rude, neglectful staff with absolutely no understanding of mental health whatsoever. They had no idea patients had a number of contraband items that could have been harmful to others despite being used right in front of their faces (lighters for example) and when we arrived for visitation after a 6 hour drive they had no idea where my sister was! As it turns out she had escaped, gone to the local shop and bought alcohol and pills (alcoholic with severe suicidal tendencies besides other things) and necked them. They didn’t even know she was missing until we arrived! Absolutely shocking. “1-on-1” is also a lie! There are about 15 patients minimum and 6 members of staff, including 1 cleaner and only 1 psychiatric doctor!
emzie-lou slates: A good place to help people get betterthe staff try their best
Maria Cican: Very bad staff , very angresive,
Martin SOUTHALL: The telephone number posted is not correct!
Javed Chughtai: please do not go here if you need any help or support l only give one star because l could not give 0 star.
Emma Walton: My aunty died here last week under their watch. All she needed was a safe place to stay for a few days and talk to someone but they didnt want to know was too busy chatting at the desk to even notice she had taken her own life in her room. Will never ever forgive them yes it was ultimatly her choice but im pretty sure she felt like she had no other choice especially as no one was listening when she needed them the most. We left her there thinking it was the safest place for her to be at that moment in time we have to live with that regret for the rest of our lives. Now our family is broken and we want to know why and how this could of happened. In my opinion relatives are best left with family people who care not staff who get paid to just sit and talk all day and night to themselves. Hope you never have to experience this

Dr Minnie Joseph, Child & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist: what do users think?
Sian Cain: Please do not use this lady. I am releived to read 2 other reports above where Dr Joseph had very poor communication, memory and was abrupt and rude. The report was badly written and I had to ask her to amend 12 mistakes that she had made before I could pass it onto the school. She has since incorrectly sent me another child's reports, with all of their personal details. She made my daughter feel very uncomfortable and I am questioning whether her report is worth the paper it is written on.
Jennifer Gaffney: My daughter had behaviour issues and even though my daughter was referred to cahms several times they finally saw her and said there’s no diagnosis as she is not like it at school . Even though every day she had challenging behaviour were I was black and blue and verbally attacked they put it to family environment and parenting. I did not believe this and as they say a mother knows her own child well this was the case . I was recommended by a friend for my daughter to see Dr Joseph . It was the best thing I did. Dr joseph asked so many questions, she listened to us and watched my daughter behaviour she was professional and new a lot My daughter was diagnosed with autism, anxiety and depression. All this time cahms their system failed my daughter with her needs and support. It was like a weight that had been lifted off my shoulders . Words can not express my emotions as cahms made me feel like a bad mom , a failure .Please never give up on your child/children even if you keep failing like I did . Just remember without us seeing Dr minni Joseph my child would of slipped through the net and would of suffered as well as myself and her siblings .
LynneF: We approached Dr Joseph after my 8 year old daughter had for some years presented with violent challenging behaviour, high anxiety and school refusal. 3 years on we were getting nowhere with CAMHS and so we felt it was time to source a private Psychiatrist with knowledge of PDA.Our first session was done via Skype (due to Covid lockdown restrictions), where my daughters history was taken in addition to a 1-1 session with my daughter. Dr Joseph was quick to put my daughter at ease and focused on her special interests in order to engage with her.The school and myself were asked to complete a number of detailed Autism questionnaires, after which Dr Joseph invited us to attend a second session at her offices, where she did an observation assessment of my daughter in order to see for herself where my daughters difficulties lied and whether she was indeed on the Autism Spectrum. It is important to note that this is the same assessment tool used by CAMHS and the NHS.3 days later we had a full report, detailing the observations from the 2nd session as well as incorporating information from the questionnaires, and a previous SALT report I provided before our initial appointment. Dr Joseph also listed in the conclusion further assessments that my daughter would need, as well as recommending an EHCP so that she could benefit from the appropriate scaffolding needed in order for her to be able to continue to access an education. As a parent who has been told for 3 years that my parenting was to blame for my daughters behaviour, it was a shock and a relief to be given a diagnosis that supports the concerns we share as a family. The whole process from start to finish took a matter of weeks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Joseph to any parents who find themselves in a similar situation with their children.
Kayleigh Poole: I am so grateful for the help and support we recieved from Dr Jospeh, even during this difficult time she still managed to professionally do an assessment for our son. We felt as though we were being taken seriously and we were understood. Such a kind and caring person.I am thankful for the help we recieved and the impact the support from Dr Jospeh will have on our sons future.
Rebecca Oldham: Is amazing in what she dose straight to the point knows her stuff
Joy Bannister: Dr Joseph was thorough, professional, accommodating and kind. I feel she got to the root of my daughter's issues in one appointment. I cannot recommend her enough.
Charlie C: There was difficulty in communicating with Dr Joseph during our sessions. I wasn't sure if my questions were consistently poorly worded or whether she was struggling to be detailed in her responses. The report that she produced was so poorly written that we were embarrassed to share it with our son's school. For someone working in psychology, she had little or no sympathy/empathy. When assessing our son she didn't seem to make any adjustment to her approach to engage him, and concluded that he must have obstacles to social interaction.Rather flippantly we both felt she announced a diagnosis with no prior warning mid-session in front of all of us. There was no consideration for blurting this out to our young son. Also her note-taking appears to be sketchy as several of the details included in our report were incorrect (family medical history, ages, etc).To top it off we only dealt directly with Dr Joseph in the booking of our assessment, yet she managed to get her timings mixed-up, accused us of being 30 minutes late, did not offer to honour the original time for the second session, gave us 30 minutes less than was originally booked across the two sessions AND when the timings issue was brought up at the second session she was not in the least apologetic at her mistake.I'm not questioning Dr. Joseph's ability to diagnose or her qualifications, but her interpersonal and professional behaviours might be a point of focus for her. Once we've had a second opinion, perhaps I can comment on the actual diagnosis and methods, therefore conservatively I've assumed that clinically her skills are not lacking.
Mark: Dr Jospeh has been helping me for nearly a year now and all I can say is I am so pleased that I went to see her.PTSD was diagnosed and I have had the most amazing help and recovery programme to work to. Good days bad days but mostly good now thanks to Minnie
Tiff Wall: We took our 9 year old son to see Dr Joseph at a time of desperation. The NHS wait was too long; he was struggling with high anxiety and was a school refuser, having violent meltdowns. He was very sad and in need of help. We chose her because she came highly recommended online and had a wealth of experience in children’s mental health, inpatient and outpatient.Dr Joseph was calm and direct. She helped us see things more clearly and helped to explain our sons behaviour. She was very professional and had a wide ranging knowledge. She spoke to my son at his level and was honest and sincere in her findings. We received a very thorough and accurate report providing her opinion and diagnosis for our son, which has been accepted by the nhs team and our school. She also provided the correct medication for him which has been life changing.Dr Joseph has been a great very support to our family, even when our son didn’t want to engage with her she was able to communicate with him. Before we met her, we spoke on the phone to find out if she’d been able to help, and she has always been very responsive and reliable with emails and communication. We would highly recommend Dr Joseph. She has helped our son so much and in turn our family. We are so glad we found her!
Maria Woodyatt: Dr Joseph has helped myself with anxiety and PTSD. my 36 year old brother who has been Incorrectly diagnosed his whole life; now he has his correct diagnosis of ADHD and the correct medication and support. My 6 year old son who has also been failed by the NHS has now received his diagnosis of PDA, ADHD and anxiety. My son now has the correct diagnosis and treatment. Without the diagnosis of PDA which would of been missed by the NHS I dread to think what the future would of held for my son. I find Dr Joseph direct which I appreciate, honest, professional and supportive! Furthermore, she clearly has a great wealth of knowledge and experience. I am very thankful the help my family and I have recieved from Dr Joseph.
Sylvia Stanway: I have observed several assessments of children by Minnie Joseph as an independent supporter of parents.I have also taken my highly anxious autistic daughter to see her for an assessment. To gather suppoting evidence for an EHCP. I wanted an overview of her mental health. She was very through, she liased with all the NHS and Private professionals involved with my daughter and was able to make a further helpful diagnosis of PDA. She provided an extremely accurate and helpful picture of my child in a report with some good recommendations.I trust Dr Joseph as a professional.I value her opinion. She will always ensure the gold standard in criteria is met before giving a diagnosis. In my opinion, she will not give a diagnosis just because a person is paying.
Petra Mickey: In my Opinion, Dr Joseph has actually provided the most legitimate and proper help I have had in at least the final few years. She has a really professional approach to helping me with the problems I face. I and my dad discuss many issues with her during our meetings and she has quite a lot of knowledge and power at her disposal- being even able to help us by contacting the school and persuading/directing them when we are unable to talk sense into them or otherwise are being ignored by them. It is reasonable to say that I underwent a very serious and stressful situation in the past year and the majority of this year, and had very dangerous and destructive states of mind, being prone to break down or lash out violently with fury burning within me. It was Dr Joseph that prescribed the correct medications for me, both last year and this year, and as I took them accordingly to how we were instructed by her, the medications where probably a major part of the help we needed, as thanks to my medication I feel pacified and calmer and happier than I have felt in a very long time, I have never lashed out or had a mental breakdown or the urge to die/harm since I took the prescribed medication and so right now It is a fair thing to say that Dr Joseph's help literally saved my life, as I dread to think what would have happened if i haven't got the correct medication or help in the time I did. Dr Joseph is very good and it is clear she is a professional, and for me seeing her when I do really helps as we address any problems, and she has a professional answer.
Cilmara Lion: Dr Joseph did nothing for my child - instead of helping, she made her feel worse. Within 15 minutes of first contact she said it was "clear my daughter had more than dyslexia" however, on her very badly written report, she referred my daughter back to a school psychologist instead of giving her "expert" opinion. She was not friendly, didnt great my child and kept on talking about her as if she wasn't in the room. I didn't leave the room so not to make the whole experience worse for my daughter. I tried to file a review on the good doctor. com, where she has one single review (perhaps done by herself) but they did not allow my review to be published. She should never work with children. I wish I had done a better research before I went to see her.
val swaby: Dr Joseph is an amazing professional. Her knowledge and experience are vast. She is honest, sincere, reliable and always fullfils promises. She never gives up on you and has a no nonsense approach. I can't think of anyone better that has helped my family within so little time, months rather than years.

Priory Wellbeing Centre Birmingham: what do users think?
Rachel H: Terrible service. They saw my daughter for an assessment session, they said they could help her and made an appointment for the following week. 2 days later they called and said they could not help! Still took the money for the assessment session though. We went to the Priory thinking there would be a broad scope of clinicians so would be able to help.
Zoe Gillespie: Sandip from the Birmingham Priory wellbeing centre has been amazing - very validating, patient, understanding and supportive.
Elise H (Deli): Sandip was excellent, very compassionate and made me feel safe enough to make my own discoveries. She was very knowledgable and gave me lots of links to resources and worksheets when I asked for them!
Kelly Dawson: Sandip brought me back to life! I have worked with Sandip for 11 months and she has been incredible through my grief journey. I cannot thank her enough for all of her support and teaching me techniques to guide me through my future. I feel incredibly fortunate to have met her & worked with her through the hardest time of my life.An emotional journey that she made so much easier.I will always remember my time with Sandip.
Elliot Faraday: I have been recieving support online and in person for some time, would massively recommend them, very professional and lovely staff. Genuinely life changing. If you have a corporate Bupa cover or personal Bupa cover you can also go through them to here fyi

Clinical Partners Psychiatrists in Birmingham: what do users think?
Adress Mohammed: Very slow and late in providing feedback
AJMAL KAZMI: Very small place to do so many things, there are no visible sign inside to follow. Unfortunately a lady will tell you where you have to go and where to wait. Couldn't see any reception desk. Doctor whom I met was extremely tired. He was doing everything in rush. Appointment was about to last one and half hour but he finished in less than 30 minutes.Car entrance is from side road. Navigation will take you on front side. Plenty of car parking spaces available though.
Lilly Cotillard: Wonderful, everything was handled professionally. The psychiatristseemed to understand my situation and was very friendly - the staff were, making the experience easy and reassuring.
