We offer individuals of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn a musical instrument one to one sessions or in group lessons. Our Music teachers are highly experienced and qualified to teach. We teach adults and kids online from all over the world. For children, we teach from five years old, except in the case of woodwind instruments where we recommend eight as the minimum age.

We understand that looking for local music teachers can sometimes be a challenge but with Pro Music Limited peace of mind is assured!

All of our tutors are DBS checked and hold a degree in music performance with some also holding a QTS in education.

Whatever age and whether learning through group or individual tuition we offer to train pupils for exams. Working towards a goal like this can help teach children to focus and the sense of achievement when passing grades is always a thrill. We work with several different syllabuses, including ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool. If you have previously learned pieces for an exam elsewhere we can provide the exam for you (excluding ABRSM).

As well as face to face lessons, Pro Music Tuition is pleased to offer online music lessons to our students. We provide 1st class tuition to all ages and can accommodate over Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp or Facebook to suit you. Nothing should come in between students receiving high-quality music lessons, and we have ensured our virtual setup allows our pupils to progress as if they were continuing with face to face lessons.

At Lakeside Piano Studio I offer piano lessons in Stourbridge with a progressive approach to tuition that is tailored to the individual needs of each student. I take a keen and steady approach, so you can learn at your own pace, focusing either on examinations or repertoire music. Through a mix of both theoretical and practical sessions, you can learn piano or keyboard from beginners to diploma level or work on backing tracks and studying music sequences. You'll be learning on the state of the art equipment in the Studio, including the Korg Kronos music workstation.

Many children reach a certain age and decide they want to learn a musical instrument. Or perhaps their school is offering some basic keyboard lessons and they have taken to the instrument – they want to learn more and that means working with a piano teacher. At first glance, this is a good thing but there are many benefits that exceed just being able to play the piano. Here are five examples.

When your child takes piano lessons in Stourbridge, West Midlands or wherever you live, you may find that they do better in school – in non-music subjects. Studies have shown that children who play a musical instrument score higher on both spatial cognitive development and standard tests. The piano has also shown to help children perform better at maths with things like ratios and fractions.
