David McNiven: The PKS are my go to kite shop. Good prices, fast delivery helpful advice. The 10% discount for signing up for email marketing does not apply to higher value items which is not always clear (and clarity around this his should be improved) but apart from that I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Yvonne: Ordered a pair of F-one board fins, specifically at Powerkiteshop because they carried them in yellow to match my board. A week later than promised the package arrives and I come to discover I’ve been sent a pair of orange fins, which I already own… No harm in a mistake, but what bothers me is the poor customer service. I can either keep the wrong fins or return them at my own cost. No effort is made to help me out or compensate me. I’d expect a company to swap the product free as they delivered something else than promised. But no. Disappointing.

miguel mendao: Placed an order that was due to take 2 to 3 weeks, two months ago and would be still waiting without any updates.I understand that there have been stock problems everywhere but when I tried to get some information about how many orders were in front of me or if anything could be changed to speed up the order, they were unable to provide any useful information whatsoever. Ended up having to give up as I had no idea if I was the next order or if there 50 orders in front of me. A shame I ended up wasting two months on this.On the positive note, the team did reply to emails quickly (albeit in a useless way) and acted on processing the refund.Managed to get the same setup from a different shop on the same day
Martin Hátaš: In general great service - will buy next time there for sure. Have bought there kite, bar and harness. Everything was ok, goods have been delivered in couple of days. Got email reply about order status within one day. Only issue was that I did not get order confirmation email after I placed order.

Nick Simpkins: Visited there shop to purchase a powerkite i researched , and they guys are brilliant and I got a better kite that suits me there knowledge is priceless no hard sell just honest accurate advice will definitely be back to upgrade, and kite is brilliant thanks guys even if it did drag me across the field brilliant fun , anyone looking for a kite etc dont look any where else go to these guys. Gary Brown: I highly recommend this place, these guys have a lot of experience and have been about for many years. I did not feel pushed for a sale when I phoned and I had nearly an hour advice on what would the best kit be for me. I did not buy straight away but had other questions which they resolved via email very quickly. Placed my order Monday at 3pm and had the delivery next day at 9am!!! Their newsletter looks so good, its so tempting. Thanks guys!

Yes they don't always have stock and have to order it in, but the practical knowledge they have of what theyre selling is priceless and worth the wait to get the gear thats right for you
Tom Grantham: Placed an order 4 days ago, paid in full, website claims next day delivery on 95% of orders, item still hasn't been even been shipped let alone delivered. E-mailed customer service yesterday, no response from them either. Possibly the worst service I've ever experienced from a kite vendor, would strongly recommend looking elsewhere 🙄

Philip Mulrain: I ordered a kite through ebay and got a call the next day to confirm. The guy I spoke to affixed a larger kite and handles rather than the bar I ordered and he was right. I have the kite I needed, more suited to my usage and it arrived the next day.

Max Downer: Geoff at Extreme Kite Shop has been very knowledgeable and helpful in my recent orders. I've recieved two fantastic kites with top rate service. I would suggest that people ought to take previous Google reviews with a serious pinch of salt. If you're in any doubt, get on the phone and and have a conversation - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.
Rositsa Petrova: Ordered a kite helmet to Romford, Essex. Did not receive it over 15 days. Emailed 3 times the shop asking for tracking number the only answer I received was that it is dispatched. Escalated lost item claim to Paypal, which resulted in tracking number without the company used. Nevertheless I managed to find out it is Parcel2Go and that the package is in London, instead of Romford.Adding no proper communication with the seller on top of the total lack of simple skills to ship a parcel to the correct address is not a rating of 1 star, but 0.
Connor Shannon: I paid for a product and the money was taken from my account. Two days later I had an note saying they had none left. This seems to happen all to often if you see the other reviews. They will take your money while not having the stock to provide what you paid for. After reading other similar bad reviews, I decided to call Geoff and discuss the matter.Geoff said it "creates business" when he charges people for stock he does not have.Geoff said "It's okay you can just get a refund".Geoff said "leaving a bad review will lose me customers".Also see the facebook reviews for this shop, same thing happens to alot of other people aswell.Do not buy from here. especially if you are paying using card. 0/5*
Ian Craddock: Ordered a small Flexifoil kite for my little one as he wanted a kite like it mine. Have only ever owned Flexifoil so was the go to.Got a call the next day (had ordered on a Sunday evening) to say it wasn't in stock and unsure when it will be available. However was suggested a Peter Lynn model that was of the same style and even a bit cheaper!It arrived the next day packaged nicely in it's own bag. Looked nice and colourful. Wind was just about strong enough to take it for a flight that evening, so out I went to test it before showing the boy.It is great and will be perfect for him. Small amount of pull and really easy to fly. Looking forward to getting him on it.Great advice and really happy with the swap rather than just cancelling the order.Will be back once he grows out of this one!
Tracey Winnall: My husband Jon Winnall purchased a kite from Extreme kite shop and was worried after reading these two reviews. All was put to rest after calling and speaking to Geoff. Geoff was extremely helpful, reassuring and explained that google didn't give him the chance to reply to reviews left on there. He found Geoff to be a very honest man and upfront about the delay in the shipping. The kite arrived with no hickups whatsoever. This company is reliable and please ignore the previous two reviews
Sue Slaughter: Shop accepted my order and took my money although the kite I required was not in stock. On chasing up my order I was offered an alternative which I declined and I requested a refund. However my money was not refunded. Thank goodness I paid through Paypal and after investigation Paypal refunded my money to me. Had I read the reviews posted about this company beforehand I would not have placed an order with them.
Daryl Griffiths: Sorry to say the item didn't arrive, so I dropped the seller an email, got a reply to say he'd look into it later that day.I realised a few days later that I'd not heard back so I sent a polite chaser, but heard nothing.Fortunately I had paid through Paypal so after leaving it another few weeks for a reply, I was able to raise a claim with Paypal.I've just heard from Paypal to say that the seller hasn't provided them with any further information either so they have refunded the payment.It has been frustrating and time-consuming to resolve this. Not forgetting as well that they've had my money for the time since the order was first placed with them. I was buying this as a gift for someone else so I ended up letting them down as well....I would save your time and frustration - and go elsewhere!

Carlo Gazzani: Worst experience ever!!!Went to the store on 13/11/2021 to buy a pushchair.Arrived there at 6pm and after 50 minutes waiting, and asking for help they sent a very impolite lady.She gave me a such ridiculous explanation about the product.It was 7:01pm, i ve already agree to buy the product and i just asked her about one doubt i have aboit another product that i have purchased there. And the answer was: I CANNOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION BECAUSE THE STORE ARE CLOSED!!!Ive wait 55 minutes for a terrible treatment.And after pay the product was said thanks you for the manager, who was holding thendoor to us, not even a Ok from him.For a toy store, dealing woth families looking for some comfort and happy moments with their families, the staff are not well trained.

Claire broomhall: Went into store today and straight away a lady come to help me. I asked for a baby chair and she went off to get it. The lady could see I was pregnant and offered to carry the chair to the till for me. At the till we was greeted by a gentleman who was also very polite, the lady then came back over and said please let me carry this to the car for you. While waiting to pay the lady informed me they was both there doing their training for the new smyths store opening up by merryhill. It was honestly a breath of fresh air to walk into smyths and be greeted by Happy staff as normally you just get grunted at by previous staff and they haven't been very helpful! Merryhill store if all your staff are like the lady and gent who served me today you are very lucky. I hope they both see this review as I was very greatful for their help and there positivity. Good luck with your new roles at smyths toy's. The lady then carried the chair to the car and put it in my boot and wished me a lovely day. Keep up the good work both 👍🏻
Tran Dinh Hoang Huy: Someone left Windows opened on their carI asked nicely staffs in smyths toys if they can do an announcement to make the people aware that the car have left windows opened. Staffs refuse to do it. And there are valuable in the car like an iPhone. Staff check and said it will be fine. So there are no announcement.
Patrick 218: Recently visited the store and had a really good experience as staff member Jane who was very helpful with getting the best quality of products from the line for each product we were interested in and they were very patient as we looked through various toys from the shelf in which collectively we ended up spending almost £400.Overall, polite, helpful and friend.
