Andy Tams: UPDATE Goods received in IndonesiaDONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE WHEN IT COMES TO THE INSURANCEUnfortunately i made a rather expensive school boy error when i filled out the marine insurance form i included pointless items and should have stuck to the most fragile and expensive items and used the Indonesian replacement costs , god knows what i was thinking when i filled the form (in fact i dont think i was thinking) for example my OLED TV i put 400 quid my KEF LS50 speakers 200 quid ,and my Kamado BBQ 200 quid , very stupidSo you can work out what happened next ,the items arrived damaged ,the insurance are going to pay out ...........but only to the value i put down on the form ,what a complete blonker obviously the items damaged cost alot more than i put downi have a 2 grand piece of plastic and wires ready for recycle (OLEDTV)The most expensive flower pot in the world un-salvageable (kamado egg)And a one speaker stereo system (Kef ls50)The 800 cubic feet shipment cost me 7700k the tax and duty 1800k and the insurance around 310 quid all in all just shy of 10 grandAnd once the insurance pay out and take the excess and prorate the cost of the BBQ as i had two, meaning they pay out 100 quid i will receive 600 pounds ........................what a complete male henreplace costs in Indonesia for damaged items 3600 +/- my error has cost me a further 3 grandlesson to this story read the insurance contract carefully , make sure you put the country where you are going replacement cost for your insured items on your formsigned ANDY THE MORONBig thanks to the Britannia Bradshaw team of James ,Les ,Rhys & Adrian who efficiently and carefully completed my house removal ,the guys went above and beyond to make sure items that required an extra level of protection were wrapped accordingly ,once complete they ensured the property was left clean and tidy and removed all there waste packing ,a highly productive ,caring happy team ,well done and enjoy that pint.

The quote process with Martin was very easy and then the move co-ordination with Jacki was very smooth; Jacki answered our queries with great patience.Les, Paul and Spencer who came to pack up were a pleasure to deal with; very professional and careful with our goods, also friendly and helpful - and got through it all faster than we expected.We were aware it would take 2-4 weeks to arrive in Abruzzo and Jacki kept us informed; we did ask a couple of times but that was just for our own peace of mind, really. The team that delivered it in Italy were also very professional and it was a bit like playing 'bingo' as I ticked off all the package numbers! They didn't deliver 3 packages that day as they did not have room on their van, however they advised it would be the following week - and it was. We have not yet been able to unpack, but we did not see any external signs of damage.Thank you to the team; I would definitely recommend Britannia Bradshaw Removals.

Catherine Wood: I recently used Castle Removals for a relocation from Stourbridge to Aberdeen. I had a week between moving out of my house before I got the keys to my new house so my belongings had to go into storage for a short while. This included a large number of garden plants. During the week of storage it was one of the hottest weeks of the year but Castle Removals put my plants outside. All my plants arrived as healthy as they were when they left Stourbridge. I was very impressed with how hard and efficiently they worked at both ends, especially after a 4am start on the day that I moved into Aberdeen.

keith nock: I was very satisfied with all aspects of the removal especially the efforts on the day by the men who completed the actual physical move. A minor problem was that one lounge chair was not loaded.I suggest that the leader of the men should go round with the owner after the vans are believed to be ready to leave with a final 'walk round' obtaining a signature of satisfaction that all items have been removed.There was another small matter in that I was charged £200 for later access to the storage to recover a couple of items. This was because it had meant that all 3 pallets were downloaded and opwened to find the items. This might have been avoided with better description of the contents. In this case 'chairs' did not indicate whether they were 'dining' or 'lounge'The 4th charge was because the cushion had been taken off with the lounge chair but resored to the pallet in error.
