Michelle Broadway: Very well made strap very pretty. Although Sadly when playing bass it was slipping of shoulder alot it needs under padding on the shoulder. Shame really as the limited edition one i got was like a car seat belt and wasnt padded. On the on the other hand since my review, ive had a lovely professional email of the owner who is Willing to try help with my personal issue with the strap and maybe come to a solution so i can get more use out of the nice item I have purchased. For that service im giving them five star rating. Cant complain with fast response very happy customer

Peter Harper: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueBought my first guitar and amp from here yesterday, an ibanez, they really are professional and happy to answer your questions and advise you, fantastic i will be a return customer
Gornalommer: For a small local shop it is brilliant. Went on spec' today, first time since 'lockdown' and noticed that there was a clearly visible sign stating that access was by appointment only due to covid/social distancing and the door was locked. Gave it a try by ringing the doorbell and the owner promptly answered apologising for the current situation; however, as he had a small gap between appointments he allowed me in. He has gone to some expense and effort to keep the business going, installing a screen around the till area, contactless payment method, hand sanitiser, as well as the door security. How safe can you get to shop in a restricted space?!! First class. The most important thing though is the passion and professionalism of the owner for music, his eagerness to help and advise others. This local business deserves as much support as possible.
Tom: Bought an Xvive u2 wireless system. Wanted to try it out first. Let me try it out without any hard sell and very helpful. Would highly recommend this place.
Dave Chamberlain: Superb shop. Friendly staff. Sam is an absolutely brilliant teacher. Couldn't recommend highly enough
Eliza Davis: I've just bought a half sized guitar with bag, strap, plectrums and extra wires for an absolute bargain price- cheaper than I could even get off the internet. The Lady in the shop was very helpful and made me feel extremely welcome. Threw in some extra plectrums in pink (much to my daughters delight) free of charge. Highly recommended.
Malcolm Wright: Brilliant local shop in Sedgley near Dudley in the West Midands (UK). Not only will they sell you a good instrument, they'll set it up for you and teach you how to play it.Absolutely fabulous customer service from a local shop.

Lakestone Guitars: what do users think?
John Perrins: I had a possible problem with my mandolin. Contacted them and took my mandolin along to be checked out. Fantastic service. Father and son business. Extremely friendly and welcoming. Can highly recommend this company. Thank you for your help.
John Passmore: I bought a Lakestone JM/C acoustic made by these lovely people. What workmanship and what sound. I have found my guitar for life thanks to these master luthiers. I highly recommend that anyone looking for the very best in acoustic guitars, look no further than Lakestone. Outstanding!!
Dan Haynes: I couldn’t speak more highly of Tony and Lakestone Guitars. I had issues with two of my guitars, one of which they fixed there and then on my first visit and didn’t even charge me. The second guitar needed some fret work as I had a buzz around the 12th fret. The work was completed very quickly.A week later I had separate issue arise with the guitar. This bridge was lifting and needed to be sorted quickly before it came away completely. This would have left without a guitar for a gig the following evening. To avoid this, Tony switched my whole pickup system over into another one of my guitars. This was then switch back once the bridge repair was done. The final repair was great. Can't even see where the work has been done.Tony went above and beyond at every step of the way! I also had the pleasure of playing one of their very own guitars while I was in the workshop. Great sound and played like a dream. The next guitar I buy will be Lakestone.
Mark Hale: Spoke to Tony about fitting an LR Baggs Anthem in my acoustic. From start to finish this was a very smooth process. The pickup is amazing and fitted to a high standard. Make no mistake, Tony and Sam are superb craftsmen who care about their products. I checked out a couple of their guitars whilst at the workshop, they're as good as any manufacturer out there, with better after sales. I know, I've played em all ! Check their website for full details.......I did. This will be my next purchase for sure. Thanks again for a pro job.
Jason Rogers: Tony has been great. Put a tremsetter on for me and plays great. Need any work done I fully recommend.
Mike Teale: Purchased a beautiful fan fret sl from the Knighton Guitar Centre earlier this week. Absolutely stunning acoustic guitar in looks and sound. The craftsmanship from these luthiers is just remarkable, a joy to play and look at. Action is very sweet and speedy, the fan fret took no adjustment in technique and benefits in bass tone amazing. My advice would be to go and try these amazing guitars. Without naming names I tried a wide range of brands... Some nearly double the cost... the Lakestone shone through. Get one quick as my prediction is you will have a considerable wait for the next one. Thanks again guys.
Colin White: Great lads know there jobs
Rob Priest: Tony has just set up my Takamine guitar. He expertly lowered the action of the strings and oiled the fretboard. The service was superb and very reasonable in price and was done to a very high standard. This is a little gem of a company which I am so glad I found as my guitar now plays beautifully.Excellent service and just like other reviews done by a true gentleman.
Ian Harris: Fantastic master craftsmen! The quality that these guys manufacture is amazing! My guitar sounds fantastic and over time will only sound better and better. The guitar was made to my exact specification and it sings beautifully! The look of the guitar is so eye catching and I often have people asking me where my guitar was built. I was astounded at the service I had received and how talented the staff at Lakestone were! ***** 5 STARS ***** Very Pleased!
Samuel Lakestone Guitars: Amazing service!
lyndon london: A real craftsman and a real gentleman, always a pleasure to deal with...
Philip Webb: Excellent service and expertise. Faultless!
Keziah Music: I purchased my husbands dream custom guitar from this company, needless to say we are blown away! Thank you so much Tony and Samuel. You are amazing.

Stourbridge Music Centre: what do users think?
TheModelGamer: Good shop fully recommended! Amazing prices and kind worker’s!😃
Peter Moth: Recently had my Les Paul Studio serviced by Matthew - great work, nicely restrung, set up and cleaned. Electrics all checked and cleaned up too. Explained all work done. Plays like new!
Jacob Devo: Stourbridge Music Centre, got my guitar restrung and fixed. Within about 3 hours even though they had plenty to tend to first. It was sorted faster than they reckoned it would be so, very happy with the service and would recommend it, For any music based needs :)
Odilia . M: Great service setting up my guitar, identifying additional issues and fixing them. Very reasonably priced in comparison to other quote I had.
Paul V Branden: Great service and honest advice.
Tom Gale: Brilliant service, quicker than I had expected and really reasonable price.Matt is an approachable guy and knows his stuff! Had 2 guitars serviced and will definitely have any future work done there.
Jonathan Dunn: Matt is super friendly and provided great service in getting my Epiphone acoustic restrung and sounding great again. Quick turn around and honest professional advice. The shop is on my doorstep so will definitely use again and recommend.
deborah jones: Always very pleased with the instrument service and always promptly done to the highest standard
PJ Hughes: After contacting the shop by email, I discussed my requirements with Mathew, and arranged an appointment to try some electro acoustic guitars.I hadn't used these before, so Mathew explained the preamp and amplifier settings, plus answered all of my questions on the guitars. After trying 5 different guitars in a relaxed atmosphere, I finally decided on one, plus the amplifier and accessories. The whole process was enjoyable and Mathew's knowledge and assistance really helped.I will definitely shop here again, and totally recommend this shop to anyone who is after a guitar, as it's a friendly, relaxed environment, with a whole range of prices and choice. One thing to add, I am in the early improver stage of playing, so not a fully fledged guitarist, but felt at ease playing the bits I know, due to the nice friendly approach byUpdate March 2023Since writing this review I have bought a further Guitar from the shop, as well as a set up. I also recently had an issue with another Guitar on the output jack, and this was resolved and a very economical repair.I trust this shop entirely, Mathew is a great Guitar tech for any set ups or repair enquiry. Also it is undoubtedly the best acoustic guitar shop in the Black country. It's because they understand acoustic guitars. All budgets from great quality beginner friendly to the Martin and Taylor end of the market.
rileyphotos: I had a guitar that no matter what I tried, I just couldn't set it up properly, so I asked Matt at SMC for help. I should have done it months ago, in no time at all he had that guitar set up and playing better than it ever has. I don't know what magic he used to tame that gremlin guitar but I'm happy he did. If you have any guitar issues, I'd recommend Matt at SMC to be your first port of call. I reckon if anyone can sort it, he can. Cheers Matt
Lynne Rowan: I cannot speak too highly of Matt and the excellent service he provides. He is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I thoroughly recommend Stourbridge Music Centre.
Dale Collett: Very good service from Matt. Efficient and reliable. Thoroughly recommended
Noel Redmond: Very friendly and prompt service. Repaired my guitar electrics really well and not expensive. Would recommend to all musicians.
Chris Straw: The staff were very attentive & knowledgeable at the music centre, a welcome experience.
Tracy Nicholls: Matt is great at fixing guitars and giving advice. I dont know what I would do without him. Great choice of instruments, books and bits and pieces in this shop. Well worth a visit and I wouldnt go anywhere else for guitar advice.
Lee Reynolds: I went in there a few weeks ago looking at guitars. The 10-15min or so I was in there, not one of the two staff even acknowledged me to say hello. So, bad manners from the get-go and professional courtesy that would get me the sack from my retail job.
Alfred Turner: Great service
P Bonas: Great little independent business with extremely helpful and knowledgeable owners.
Cali Row: Rude staff member! (the old guy)
Calogero Jenkins: Tense & awkward atmosphere created by very rude staff member.I entered the store this afternoon as I am a professional musician and I'm currently seeking to purchase a semi-hollow guitar. After browsing what was on offer, I approached the counter and politely asked the gentleman if I could play the guitar that I was interested in. The gentleman abruptly responded “only if you buy it” to which I thought he was joking. I also believed that the reason for his demeanour, that came across rude, was possibly a dry sense of humour. So I laughed and responded “shall I make a promise”. To which he replied, poker faced, “well you can play it, if you buy it”. At this point I realised that the gentleman was not joking so I explained to him that I don’t know whether I will buy the guitar yet, as that is the reason why I asked to play it. I’m not sure if the gentleman is a guitarist himself, but I am confident in saying that the reason guitarists choose to purchase guitars from shops, rather than online, is because they are able to play the guitar first in order to know whether or not they like the playability and sound of the guitar. I explained to the gentleman that I may buy the guitar, but I won’t know until I have played it. The gentleman grabbed the guitar and abruptly said “take off your coat”. To which I stated that I don’t feel in the mood anymore because he has created an awkward atmosphere. I then left feeling confused.I’m confused as to why I was treated like this upon taking the time out of my day to visit the store and consider potentially putting money into the business.
Leo Thompson: Really nice instruments and pedals sold here, however the customer service was awful. As some of my friends walk into the ukulele area of the store the man just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. Then when leaving I saw he had done it again when leaving.Apart from that they do have some good stuff. Just a let down. However the younger guy who works there is much more cheerful

Lauren Gwynne: Great service, really impressed with my guitar set up. Will absolutely become a regular customer.
BRIAN PUGH: Excellent people to deal with always ready to give advice, Joel and Phil very friendly and ready to help nothing is to much trouble, would highly recommend.

Lessons are very affordable too - a real gem of a find in Kidderminster!
Emma Long: Excellent service from everyone at the shop. I have been having drum lessons there for nearly 2 years and not only have I learnt so much but I am loving my musical journey. All employees and owners are kind and considerate, and will help with any questions you have about any instrument (not just guitar) and will always be there to help with lessons.
Jonty Music: Best store in Kidderminster by far. Inspirational people teamed with an accessible selection of hardware that you can try and learn to play with the help of Phil or Joel as excellent and knowledgeable tutors with lots of musical experience. Then there’s Jodie who’s ability as a vocal coach is second to none. Inspirational, patient and positive. Learn to sing. There is no such word as can’t and Jodie will release your inner voice. You will be amazed. So much happening here it’s a must visit store.

Shivan: اسعار مناسب
Susan Kooner: Always put your products down !!!!!! It's only a BRAND New ,,, blah blah not worth much , then witnessed with my own eyes , them pay Top price FOR THE SAME ITEM 😆😆😆🤣🤣 no manager present , seemed like Weird , if It was my company Paying £100 twice for an item she says your far off and still walk out with £100 Smiling saying thanks for that!!!! Believe what you want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Derek Pugh: 3 staff eating chips on the cashpoint yesterday afternoon.
Patricia Moran: Very nice people great service top manager
Rafal Michalski: Why is the shop closed on Sunday at 3pm?Sunday 10:00-4:00
Greg Homer (Gregohree): Friendly staff, polite and knowledgeable, Kelly served me and did me a great deal on an iPhone. Friendly and likeable lady, knew her stuff about phones, got a good deal and am very happy. 5 stars all the way from me!
Everton McNeil: I was accompanying a friend. Staff were polite experienced, fair and knowledgeable.
Mark Wheldon: I went in the store quite late and only parked in a 20 minute zone. I had taken some guitar amps and stuff to trade against an amp in the store. Kelly and the other blonde girl were great, friendly and helpful. Kelly checked out and gave me a fair price for my trade-ins, even asked if I wanted to go check on my parking. She gave me a really good deal on the already well priced amp and I left with my new amp inside 20 minutes. Great service, great team. 👍
Marthy Senior: I Bought a Ecovacs Deebot N79s. I was served by Karac.I went into the cash Generator Store following interaction with a staff member online late on the evening before. I was greeting by a smiling Karac who ask if I need help. I asked him for a colleague called mike who I was instructed to ask for. Karac informed me that Mike was in fact serving another customer and proceeded to help with my request which was to purchase the Robovac.I was able to extensively test the Cleaner while Karac helped to make sure all was in working order before I was fully satisfied and making my purchase. I left the store a very happy customer. Karac on this day was a credit to your store and thank you for help. I myself am a retail manager for a multi million pound business and I would hope that my team were offering as good a service that I received in this store when making my purchase. Thank You Karac!
Rebecca: Great people that will definitely help you anyway they can
Sean Perry: Kelly Karen and the team are always so helpful and give you the best service would highly recommend
Colin Sykes: Utter rubbish customer service buyers stay clear there returns is terrible and don’t care once they have your money shockingly bad after sales they don’t know what customer service is. I don’t recommend to anyone avoid.
Dwain Daley: Karen and Kelly were awesome, really friendly and happy, super helpful and made sure I was sorted. Came all the way from Coventry just for the service. 10 stars.
James Jackson: I visited the store recently and was met with unbelievable attitude and disgraceful customer service, this isn't the first time this has happened. The lady with the red hair always seems to be quite abrupt with her customers and she lacks in basic manners with the way she carries herself. I feel this issue should really be addressed as soon as possible especially as she's in a managerial role.
Dippy RaRa: Absolutely excellent service, really friendly and understanding. Most definitely the only place to go in Dudley....no the West Midlands
Paul Thomas: A franchisee ruining cash converters hard earned reputation with it's poor insulting customer service.Be careful when you buy from this store as their return policy is not a reflection of cash converters online operation. In fact I would say this particular stores returns policy is non existent it's no where to be found it's not mentioned upon purchase, not displayed within store, not written on the receipt. It's clouded in so much mystery the staff are well versed in this deception and took great pleasure in denying me a refund with their only reason being they don't have too.Sticking to what I would otherwise consider a basic right or appealing to good will only lead to raised voices and swearing (you can't reason with unreasonable). To give this review some context the return was for a purchase made less than 24hrs previous. The item was in it's original packaging and the receipt was present. It even still had the tags stating price to pop it straight back in the window. The questions during the interrogation by various staff as to why I wanted to return were answered with honesty. After passing scrutiny this resulted in the only stance they would take as being one of they didn't want to take it back.Upon reflection it is this that causes the most hurt as it's tantamount to harassment and gets tempers flaring. So be warned cash converters Dudley operates within the fringes of consumer law regards returns and makes a stop and search feel like quality customer service.May as well buy the stuff direct from the people who stole it out of your shed in the first place.
Becky Cole: Fab customer service!I was after a phone for my daughter. Very helpful and got just what I was looking for.Would definitely use again, happy and friendly staff!Thank you 😊
Tyron moran: Very nice staff
s: The blonde one with glasses is really rude. I wanted to see a watch that was in a box. She refused to open the cabinet. She goes we can't its sealed. The boxed looked open. She wanted us out the shop. Can't change my asian heritage to please her I'm afraid

guitarguitar Birmingham: what do users think?
rebecca linehan: Great staff
Kenneth Lyons: Still waiting for my strings, must be 3 weeks now at least.
Sarah Tyler: Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble, my daughter was able to try several guitars and got some great advice on a couple of pedals we purchased. Will be back, can't recommend highly enough
Chris Hallett: My second visit to GuitarGuitar Birmingham and again very impressed. Went for my son who is looking to upgrade and the service and kindness shown by Nathan was second to none. At 14 years old, it’s a nerve racking thing being given a guitar in a shop to play with other people around, but Nathan was excellent at putting him at ease, demonstrating for him sometimes and providing us with brilliant advice and knowledge. We felt under no pressure, given time to ourselves and my son tried many different guitars. Didn’t walk away with one this time, but only because they didn’t have the Guitar (colour) he eventually chose in stock. Thanks Guitarguitar, and Nathan.
Andrew Pritchard: Aren't metal heads the nicest people, great customer service from everyone. Greeted as you come through the door, a massive selection of guitars, accessories, and pedals.
Michelle Bradley-Cook: Great shop. Helpful staff and encouraged to take your time and try before you buy
John Rees: I bought a Lowden S25-J from the shop on Friday 3rd March. I can't speak too highly of the service the shop provided. I asked for a high quality pure classical guitar and a steel stringed Lowden to use for comparison. I was set up in one of their small demo rooms with a Cordoba Solista and a cedar top Lowden (can't remember the model), along with an AEG60 amp. Dave had the sense to leave me alone for an extended period to get to know the three instruments and give them a proper try out. The questions I had were quickly and accurately answered. All in all, a genuinely good experience.
Adam: It was about time we got a new electric guitar to replace one we bought from some online shop. The visit in the shop was very pleasant. Large variety of guitars to try and very relaxed staff. We could spend there many hours enjoying different guitars. With no pressure from the staff, we got our next one. Very satisfied with the visit, purchase, and friendly and helpful staff.
Jon Shaw: It's always a fantastic trip out to Guitar Guitar with my son, the staff are so helpful but also let you browse with no pressure, my 14 year old lad tested out a Charvel and the staff realising that he could play let him try out a vintage Gibson Les Paul, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Mark Whitcombe: Not had a great experience. Firstly bought a guitar, amp and lead and recieved an email to say the guitar would be delivered Monday by DPD and I would need to sign for the parcels. So I booked the day of work. I then recieved an email to say the guitar I had purchased had already been purchased so was no longer available. A manager called me and said they had found another model and would be delivered but woukd now be Tuesday so I called my boss and booked Tuesday off as well. Tuesday midday I recieved an email to say part of the delivery would be delayed (the amp). So now I have to book another day off to sign for the amp so basically lost 3 days wages. On a positive note the guitar I have recieved is in excellent condition and well packaged not sure I would use company again.
Mighty Simbad Von Badass Shagnasty: Guitars and musical instruments sold by musicians and King Mikey of Guitar Guitar! Fabulous!
Angus Mclick: Good selection and helpful staff
Harvey Charlton: Went in just to look, came out with a cherry red sg, amazing service, run by very nice people, would deffo recommend you swing by and have a look
Adam Lunt: Went to the store today to check out the bass department. The team made me feel right at home, and were really helpful. Highly recommended!
James Williams: First class customer service from these guys. No pressure and nothing is an issue to them. You really feel valued as a customer. I recommend you visit these if you are thinking about purchasing a guitar you won't be disappointed.
No smoking: Very helpful
Adrian B. Earle: The most helpful and knowledgeable guitar dudes in Brum. No shade on PMT but Guitar Guitar is my go to as a *considerably* less than pro 🤣
Toby Carter: The team (especially Dave and Michael) couldn't have been any more helpful in helping me and a couple of friends out with setting us up with guitars and basses to try out, especially after playing loads of basses and walking out with a Jazzmaster and a Whammy instead! I always tend to buy guitars online, but the experience we had reminded me of how important it is for physical stores to exist. Thank you to the team, we know where to come from now on!
John Malik: Great customer service every time I go in. Exchanged a guitar without question. Knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks John
Ken Best: I attended a free individual guitarguitar run maintenance course and received excellent advice and service. My Taylor GS mini now looks beautiful and sounds fabulous. Many thanks to Ryan.
