Bernadette Adams: Probably my favourite nursery. I always find something unusual here (been going here for 22 years). Cafe food good, but sit outside if the weather is fine, as this is a favourite place for ladies to meet and have coffee. - can get a bit noisy.

Darren Wood: This used to be my go to garden centre for years however post COVID the prices rocketed and it's the most expensive garden centre around so I go elsewhere.The cafe is the same, expensive and in need of a serious makeover, it's like a victoria wood sketch.....

J PERCIVAL: Have been attending Ashwood nurseries for several years even supporting them during corona virus. Went for drinks and breakfast last week and asked for a little extra milk in the small jugs at the cafe, low and behold we were informed it would be 40p I said forget it. The person In the queue asked for black coffee but did not see them get a 40p reduction. I await your response. We also often go for Sunday lunch and found thisexcellent. Is it just one person with an attude?

Alison Wragg: This is one of my favourite places. It sells top quality plants, many of which are grown on the premises, they have some national collections, hellebores among them. There is an excellent café, a gift shop and good garden shop.
Jacquie Payne: We've been visiting Ashwoods for many years now. It is the best large nursery and we visit a lot of other nurseries. The staff are knowledgeable and approachable.They go the extra mile too. I rang up last week to ask about a Church with snowdrops that is open today. I'd seen the poster behind the sales desk but forgot to take details. Sarah in the office walked over to the sales area to find the info and rang me back. Where else would that happen.Restaurant is first class and the show garden a delight.Thank you Ashwoods.

Rich P: Poor service in the restaurant. Came her on a Sunday to have some light lunches. We ordered our food and weren’t made aware of any wait for food. We then waited for 45 minutes for some soup, a toasted tea cake and a sandwich. When the sandwich arrived the bread was stale and felt more like toast than a slice of bread. Only positive was the sandwich was redone and put of fresh bread very quickly and without any dispute.
