Amanda Thomas: I would highly recommend this funeral directors, there isn't any thing they won't help with, they really did make a sad difficult time easier for us, on funeral day they really did us proud, it was a really lovely send off for my brother, everything possible was taken care of .

They double check everything making sure everything's ready, and that everything goes to plan.On the day of the funeral we asked to be taken past my grandads very first home he lived in as a child. They actually took us in the street even though the weather was terrible. It made us happy that we could take my grandad past his very first home. The guys were just so lovely even though we were a mess.I'm so thankful for their help and support during this awful time.I cannot recommend this company enough, they do pre payment plans and honestly I don't know how we would have coped and got through losing my grandad if it wasn't for Dainty and Downing's.Thank you so so much

We were treated with the utmost respect and sympathy and I have no doubt they treated my mum with dignity and grace. David Webb: A&A Walters gave us an exemplary and personal service.We appointed them directors of the funeral of my Mom, Doreen Webb who died 10 August 2022. Steven Tredwell was our main contact for who nothing was too much trouble and the staff as a whole from initial appointment through to the day of the funeral were simply brilliant. Professional and courteous, they helped us with every aspect of the funeral and took a lot of pressure off the family. I would recommend A&A Walters without reservation because Customer service counts at difficult times and they were there at all times for the family.

David Coyle: My mother; Winnie, took out a funeral plan with A&A Walters a few years ago. When mom sadly died earlier this year, we knew exactly what to do because it was all detailed in the plan. That was a great help to us, as the family didn’t have to make any decisions. We just followed mom’s wishesA&A Walters carried out our instructions to the letter, in a warm, friendly and professional manner. Attention to detail was exemplary. Mom wanted two particular songs for her entry and exit music, A &A Walters gave the music on a cd to the church. Not every funeral director does that. The funeral itself was perfect and all the timings were spot onA death in the family is awful. A&A Walters took the burden off us and helped us through a very traumatic timeThe best thing I can say about them is, everyone who attended the funeral said “ Your Mom would have been proud of that”.

When my grandmother passed the service we received from Steven and the team at Walters was compassionate and efficient. The service provided was outstanding from arranging the celebrant Helen Emery, who made a lovely tribute to my grandmother, to arranging the flowers, arranging the internment, service cards and generally being on hand to answer any questions we had. Walters provided for all our needs as a family and I would highly recommend their services.

Gaynor Walker: OMG NO Amanda was meant to call me on day of my mum's cremation however she had the day off and didn't bother to inform other members of staff to call me, they had no clue of my mum's cremation that day.
