Charlotte Reese: Lovely day at Dudley Zoo today. We took part in the giraffe experience which I really enjoyed. It was nice getting to be up close to the giraffes and to learn more about them. The keeper was friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and the zoo in general and we got to feed them for about 30 minutes whilst she talked about the animals. We then spent more time there seeing the other animals which there are lots of. Tigers, Lions, Wolverines, Tapirs, Owls, Orangutans, Wallabys, Lemurs, Meerkats, Chimpanzees, Penguins and Sea Lions to name a few! There’s lots of modernisations and refurbishments going on to improve the animals lives there such as the giraffe paddock being extended. The food in the cafe is pretty decent and the prices aren’t too bad, what you would probably expect. There are also vegan options but unfortunately they weren’t available along with some other options on our visit due to supply issues.I really like this zoo and think it’s very underrated. Can’t wait to go back!
Syed Kazmi: Best place to visit with kids m.Visited on Weekend Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended Not sure …More
sridevi chandrakumar: Good place to spend a day with kids. Most of the animals will be sleeping or inside the cage. Must visit to parrot area where you can feed honey. Price of a cup of honey is madly high £1.50 for few drops of honey. Long walk. Train and chair carriage is a bonus.

Adriaan Strauss: Really pleasantly surprised! Awesome views from castle, animals well cared for and daughter loved the feeding the birds nectar experience!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Meg Hobson: Awful accessibility for wheelchair users. The website says that they have made adjustments and try to help with how the historical location is steep etc but most areas are incredibly unsafe, even parents with pushchairs were struggling. Distressing as an adult wheelchair user to feel so unsafe, even the entrance building/gift shop was unsafe with tall lips on the doorframes meaning I was nearly thrown from my chair multiple times. Told to just use the free train that goes up and down which i would have to get out of my wheelchair, get into the train seats which were high and have my chair put on the back with prams on top of it which I wouldn’t feel safe doing, and would miss a lot of the animals. Some of the animal enclosures were shoddy especially the penguins, there were just two in pretty shoddy conditions which was sad to see. Disabled parking is available but not well sign posted so had to drag my chair with my partner across the very rubbled car park and pay for parking, which broke my wheelchair front wheels costing me to replace - sent a complaint email and was replied to with the least empathy and understanding I’ve ever experienced, and then never responded to my reply. Wouldn’t recommend for other wheelchair users or in general!

Janet Gonzalez: I went on the National Lottery Day out. It is a great Museum which brought back memories of my childhood. There were lots of visiting school parties which made entering shops, experiencing the school and mine difficult. We bought some very tasty fish and chips. Beware when visiting the mine, it is very dark and the ceilings are low in places. The torches and hard hats are needed. It is a great experience though and tied in with stories my grandfather used to tell about his days as a miner. Do not forget to buy your car park exit token before leaving the main building on your way out.

Sophie B: What a fantastic trip to Black Country Living Museum! So much to see and learn and the added touch of live actors with knowledge about everything was fantastic. The Mine Tour was absolutely fascinating and is one of the best I’ve ever been on. Andi 51: The Black Country Living Museum has a lot to offer. You can easily spend a day here. There is food for sale, but in busy times you will have to queue. Great venue for children. The pictures were taken on my first trip in 2019. Not much has changed. They are now building a main street from the 1940s to the 1960s. There are windows in the hoarding that you can look through to see the progress
Bookster 123: Great visit. Looking forward to seeing the new high street.Visited on Public holiday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Barry Purley: Changed a lot since I was a kid. No soul to the experience and some of the staff like the lady by the fire don’t engage at all. The place is dominated by school tours and we came at 10 am. Queued 40 minutes for tickets and rudely expelled from the mines who do school tours all day and only start the mine tours at 3.30 PM. Drove all the way from Berkshire for this nonsense! They treat Asian people very badly here, the lady outside the old dress shop did not even acknowledge us but did so for everyone else. Not one member of staff from any ethnic minority to be seen in the entire museum!
Jamie Johnson (Heathen): Well, I throughly enjoyed my day. Well worth the trip.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Steve Antipolo: It may be too expensive for many families having to pay for children also but very worth it.I'm concerned that many children and teens won't get it. There is little which connects them to history. As an older visitor I could vaguely recall such times. If visitors didn't have someone like me it might fall flat. It's also a little hit and miss whether everything is operating or not leaving one area seeming totally flat and lackingThe peaky blinders connection doesn't feel like it's explained enough. Visitors need to know much of it was filmed there.More places to eat, seating and toilets would be essential as when it's busy it's uncomfortably so. As a disabled person I found myself having to stand to order food and there were no seats once I had it.More could be done to improve the experience but, that said, it's still excellent.
Teresa Higgs: Second time here, visited the mines great experience. Good for all ages.Visited on Public holiday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More

Charlotte Eaton: Lovely green spaces and a great little park for children of primary school age
stuart chandler: Easy to park very interesting and had a nice wander with the pup... lots to see, do and enjoy. Really good venue for walking to heal training as lots of different paths and paved areas.
Eric Thomas: Priory Park, besides the history of it's Ancient Priory ruins, has a little of everything for everyone. Parking on its surrounding roads, Good pathways throughout with ramps where there are steps, Grassed areas, a Bowling Green, a 5-a-side Grassed Football Pitch as well as a 5-a-side Hardcourt Football pitch, doubling as a Basket Ball court, a Tennis Court, woodland, and many seated areas. There is a Cafe and Toilets (the downside of which though being that they never seem to be open..... Maybe Dudley Metropolitan Council would like to explain why). So bar the latter, all in all Priory Park is a great ammenity.
dianne westwood: Need to repair benches all but a few are broken and disabled toilet is locked up even my key would not open it.
Helen Beardmore: Very nice relaxing walk to enjoy with history 2 obsorb, but desined for families 2 as there is a play park and tennis courts ect... really enjoyed my walk there

Lynette finch: Took a lovely circular walk around the reserve which took in the reservoir and old quarry.
BigBearLogic: Sharing Saltwells and Netherton Reservoir with Jake our black lab pupster 😂👍Thoroughly recommend the nature reserve, hard core tracks perfect for pushchair or self propelled/pushed wheelchair. Off track footpaths offer a different atmosphere to the park. Clay pit is worth a mooch too, very prehistoric in feel and atmosphere as it goes really quiet the lower you go.Take the large geo/nature route upto reservoir and back to Saltwells pub for full experience of Saltwell nature reserve itself. There are attaching footpaths/public rights of way to take you a bit further.Best time to visit, early morning 6-7am or 9.30-10.30am or 6.30pm. Bird and wildlife much more active.
B P: Nice reserve, nice scultpure touches but the amount of trolleys and junk dumped into the stream was a sight for sore eyes. Had to explain to my kids that it's the scrubby dirty people that live in the council houses that do it, and carried on the walk. It's obviously a recurrent problem.

Colin Dooley: I might need another visit to unsour my viewI like dogs, I have had many. I appreciate most dog owners are conscientious, but I get fed up with the few that spoil it for the many (yup...I know) either by having dogs off leads or not cleaning up.I have kids now, so it's worse when they are jumped on (yup your dog loves kids I know) and/or I have to wipe off all of their mess off shoes, push-chairs etc.It is a similar story at the Leasowes and Warley Woods.I don't know how you solve the issue completely (reasonably anyway) but cleaning up and attaching leads surely isn't too much to ask.Forgetting the whine above, the reserve itself seems like it is a great place to escape the semi industrial and super commercial places around it. Hats off to everyone who puts a shift in to maintain it.

Sue Harper: Dog-friendliness: Lovely long walks round the areaPicnic area: Plenty of places for a picnic
Wendy-Jane Latham: INCREDIBLE place. I am from Italy and have never seen anything like it. The VOLUNTEERS keep the place as immaculate as possible. Unfortunately idiotic, bad mannered cretins leave litter and dog poo for others to pick up. Just shame the cafe and visitor centre is not open more often - they could actually MAKE money if they did as there are always loads of people around.

Always plenty of birds to spot and people out to say hello to. It is also the entrance to Netherton tunnel, Europe's longest double toe path canal tunnel. Worth a walk through, but you'll need water proof shoes and a good torch.

Angela Yates: What a lovely place for walking, cycling etc. There are many fields, pools and canal areas to visit and walk along with a visitor centre that opens 3 tuned a week. There are benches around so you could take a picnic.Unfortunately our visit was spoiled by someone setting fire to the bushes over Netherton tunnel and I had to call the fire brigade. The fire was extensive and well ablaze.A fisherman told us he had to put a fire out the day before that kids had lit.

Peter Sherwen: Very interesting area with lakes, canals industrial heritage and the Bumblehole visitor centre.
Barrie Wright: Very tranquil and peaceful place, but it depends upon the time of the year and weather. If it's cold outside and in the middle of winter, you will see hardly anyone, and wrap up warm and wear a woolly hat and gloves. But summer time not busy just a lot more people taking their pet's for a walk, or out just strolling and taking in nature as couples or individuals. Summer time ,is the time you will see fairs and fates and market stalls, on narrow boats and on the side of the canal towpath but not blocking it . There's a canal museum, come coffee and tea shop with toilets for able bodied people and disabled people, the museum has a ramp, but the door width its standard i think but they can be opened to make more room, but looking through too the toilets there is a door facing the ramp looking from the outside. That's the write size for a wheelchair if you don't mind coming in past the toilets . They offer the usual cakes "got to be their on the write day they are made fresh " so they don't last long ,sweets and so on. They museum is the part that makes up the decor of the house, you sit drink your tea eat your cake and read the captions and look at the pieces of gone bye pieces of history . Overall a nice day out if you want to walk your dog and maybe have a cup of tea and a run up on local history 👍🏾.

Tanya Hawthorne: Beautiful place to relax take a walk, See the nature. A lovely place for picnics or just walk the dog.Dog-friendliness: Dog meet up every weekPicnic area: Lots of benches and beautiful places to sit
Barry Horne: Lovely place to have a gentle walk and great open areas. A few small pools frequented by herons and other bird life. The canal does have a few boats coming through. There are benches dotted around to just sit and enjoy the fresh air.
Joshua Webb: Lovely place to fish, will try top pool next time 👍 friendly people
Bren Trevallion: A pleasant place to walk. There was a section without a path - glassy field turning to mud in places where churned up underfoot. Sensible appropriate footwear advised.A good spot to start a canal walk, though be warned if you choose to walk the Netherton Tunnel - 1.7 miles long, no lightning and many many puddles.

David Harrison: Great place
AITCH 1: My dog and I love coming to Baggeridge, but my visit today was spoilt by someone smoking cannabis, not something I would expect with young children around.
Emma Ozanne: Beautiful with so much to do for all ages
Barry Leek: Not very friendly
paul Griffin: Good cob
Steve: Fantastic walking area, popular play park for kids with big fishing pools. Big carparks and a nice little cafe.
Trevor Pratt: Great walk today, sharp wind but many signs of Spring.
Thomas Burns: Love to walk here with my dog. Good varied paths that go all the way through to Himley. Reasonable drinks and good food options at the cafe. Parking is a little expensive on a weekend if you’re staying for more than an hour
Mark Cole: Didn’t stay didn’t have change to pay for parking
Peacock Bass: Love the peace and tranquillity of Baggeridge. Great for families , couples and solo travellers alike. Large park with plenty of activities such as a play area , coffee shop , toilets , fishing pools and various trail works with outstanding views. Only improvement would be to offer either contactless or ring go / just park app for the parking as I had no cash in hand so I needed to travel all the way bay to sedgley Asda to the nearest cash point to draw out some money.
Simon Jones: Nice place for a walk.
Nick Name: I love baggeridge, I've been a fair few times and still have lots of places yet to discover. Great for kids, parking fairly priced and good for taking a picnic blanket and finding a scenic place to rest and eatPlayground: Playground is really good, lots of different activities for all age ranges and it was clean when we last went
Marilyn Pratt: Always a good place to walk with the dog, especially while it isn't too muddy.
JOYCE ROWE: Nice place for a short walk.Dog-friendliness: Nice place to take dog/dogs for a short walk.Picnic area: ♿ friendly parking but could do with a few more benches.
Helen Webb: Dog friendly, lots of parking, lots of wildlife to see, plenty of maps and pieces of information. Easy walking paths, but some were getting overgrown, on the smaller paths.Lovely little cafe, ice cream selection very good, with dog friendly ice-cream too.Brilliant picnic area.Peaceful and tranquil, perfect to spend some quality time with the family
Tony Ash: It was very nice.
SADEER KHAN: Its nice place for day out with friends or family. I been there twice once with friends or second time with my kids. Kids love a they don't want to come back home 😅
Bryan Phillips: This is a large expansive area with several trails, pools and also a purpose built play area for children and an adventure climbing facility for the more energetic. It seems popular and well used - the parking often looking full but several areas for parking means that you will usually find somewhere. It’s currently £3 for the day and often a queue to pay. The tea room serves snacks and drinks quite suitable for the area.Lots of nature to explore on the trails plus wildlife as well
Mark Oldbury: Great place for walking dogs. So many different routes. Great coffee too at the cafe

Edyta Mikolajewska: Rubbish on the grass. Playground being occupied and distroyed by young adults... But quiet nice walk.Playground: Basic
Anastasija Grabova: Kids playground needs refreshing
Matthew Neale: Not a good park for kids the play area is run down not much there for them
James Turner: Nice park and my kids love the climbing frame
Irfan A: Good place for morning walk and exercising
Emma Venables: Lovely day out
Isa Rehman: Playground: Yeah baby gosuck you if you are babys
Michael Quinn: Grew up there. Total disgrace what's happened to it.
Lottie Lawton-Hall: This park is clean and quiet park. There is a basket ball court situated next to a gated Play park. There is also nursury on the park and a Health Hub. The Health Hub is one of the best features of the park. I have attended fitness Classes here and they are very good and the staff are very polite and helpful it is also handy that there is an outside gym just outside of the the Health Hub for public use. I am unsure of all groups and classes offered at the hub. I am currently using the health hub for a nursury nurse group it is great for the little ones, there is a kitchen and tiolet facilities in the health hub. The park does also lead into netherton high street. There a number of benches across the park and plenty of bins. It is usually a very quiet and peaceful park. I would reccomend this park for kids and for a nice walk.
Candy Weston: Very clean n tidy. The exercise equipment is the best I've seen. I visit many parks.
