Sarah Griffiths: 20th December, Called out stannah as mothers stair lift stopped, £213.87, said needed a new motor but repair should last a few weeks.2 days it lasted!Called them today to see if any hope of doing anything! As all over Xmas she was ill and stuck upstairs. Angie said to me when i said repair man had said a few weeks: " Its like being told you have cancer, and 6 months to live its a guess!"WOW: Not appropriate, especially when i lost my dad to cancer.She said she would speak to someone and call me back. Shock, horror it was a no, not their problem.If thats customer service i will pass.

Greg “No 3 Amazon Reviewer Uk” Dessar: Mug me im old ,this what the company loves helpless people in dire situtions ,what a load of thieves my Mother in law has there so called stairlift .Well under a service agreement =money need plenty of callouts = money ..She is told that you need a part they forgot to mention only a month ago when she paid £190 to have the thing serviced .So when she called them out again last week another £140 for some service ???but the service guy says to her she is in much need for this bottom gasket that is really important and might break down anytime now and the last service guy never mentioned it even though that was a month ago ...and yes wait for it will cost over £900 for this part what a lovely way to rob a old lady of nearly 94 years old .They should be closed down bunch of thieves .They charge what they want issues all the time with this stairlift thats used twice a day by my mother in law..

Linda: My husband and I have the Trio+ lift. It is a really lovely looking lift and easy to use. We bought the lift to future proof our home for our old age. I don’t have the arm strength I did and it has been as valuable for getting things that are that bit too heavy or bulky for me up and down floors as it has for taking the strain off our knees.The lift is situated in a double height sunroom, the colourless Perspex walls of the lift mean it is much less obtrusive than a traditional home lift would be. We chose the half door option which is ideal if you don’t want to feel too enclosed, my elderly mother who is very claustrophobic feels comfortable travelling in it.All the engineers during and after the installation were extremely friendly whilst still being professional. All the sales staff and customers services staff have been equally pleasant to deal with. There were a few teething problems post installation but they were dealt with quickly and successfully.The only negative point we have is the long length of white power cable that hangs down by the side of the lift – it never seems to appear in any of the pictures and was quite a surprise. I believe that other Stiltz customers have given the same feedback to Stiltz and new model without this cable is being brought out.

David Eyes: From initial contact to final installation, and post installation follow-up, it's been a pleasure to deal with Stiltz.The lift, installed in a two-storey bungalow (yes, you read that right) replaced the original tired and awkward stairs. It's elegant and blends in to the surrounding decor. When it's on the other floor, there is almost no loss of functional space and no unsightly mechanism impinging the space.

Donald Mansell: I wanted to give the Classic Duo lift 5 stars because it cannot be faulted. It looks good and has sufficient safety features to keep it's user safe. The two fitters did their job very well and were effective and informative throughout the installation.We did, however, have a mishap with the siting of the lift initially. And later the plumber put his feet through the ceiling. But Stiltz have now re-skimmed the whole ceiling, and very well too.We got there in the end.

They were a professional organisation and carried out the work as described, within the timescales that I had been given.All the workmen who attended my house were courteous, polite and very professional. I have now had my lift installed for a couple of months and it works extremely well and I'm very happy with it.

Survive the Nights: Very happy with the whole process of dealing with Stilz, from 1st enquiry to installation everything was perfect, I expected lots of mess and upheaval during installation but it just didn’t happen. Maybe not the cheapest option but with our house being on multiple levels it was the best option for us, and we get to stay in the house we love and It was probably cheaper than moving. No hard sell from the salesman who came, very courteous fitters etc, we would 100% recommend this company.

tom bannister: A company that cares, it was a pleasureto have this company carry out the workand we have no hesitation in reccomendingthem.I need to quantify the above, the extended service warranty is i think a pressurised sale, as their customers are mainly elderly or disabled so would want security and I think they market on that, and a yearly warranty is £700 per year, (a one of callout is £195)or cheaper if you buy 6 years at around £3000 and you have to buy just after fittingalso they give you only 14 days to decide.The above may have stopped me purchasing but its up to you?Toshout.
