Truly the best dog trainer you could consider.It's outdoors, which is generally where most people have issues with their dogs (recall, walking to heel etc.) which can't really be addressed indoors in a community centre etc.Fitz has a no nonsense (if a little Sweary 😂) approach to training humans to understand and mesh with their pets.If you're serious about learning to work with your dog, (and what dog wouldn't want a well trained human as an owner?) there is no better place to go.

I wouldn't go anywhere else even if the course was free. Fitz is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and skilled dog trainer who makes training enjoyable for me and my dogs. The facilities at Cosford dogs are brilliant with real life distractions (you can't get that in your village hall).Fitz really helped me with my difficult dog and thanks to his advice she went from not being able to be touched to having an ultrasound without sedation. That's what training is about being able to manage in real life situations.Training is life long, consistency is key, simple yet effective methods and commands. His training area is secure and a great environment to get the most of your dog. You get to practice in a safe environment and then test your dog and yourself in live situations . Yoga Pure and Simple: I've owned 4 dogs and when I bought a Border Terrier I decided to use a professional dog trainer. What a stroke of luck Fitz was local to me. The training made all the the difference. Fitz loves his dogs and all the training is treat/reward driven. When you do your homework the progress you can make is amazing within a few weeks my puppy was able to stay put for over 3 minutes as I walked away not bad for a 9months old baby. All dogs and owners need a Fitz. I have and will recommend to all dog owners not just puppy training but also behaviour training in older dogs. I really don't understand how you would bring a beautiful dog down to BIPDT with not even any idea of lead control. Or basic puppy obedience. It was so aparent that you had done no classroom training with him from the moment you introduced yourself. I and some of the team trying our best to help/support you along with the instructors. So please if you put a review on make sure it is accurate as it says in the title..if you thought you could come in and have a fully trained dog/and yourself within a week then we would all be out of a job as trainers. I myself didn't get the grade I was hoping for. But if you are ill prepared!! Please don't try to discredit the BIPDT they won't just give certificates away as it carries their name/credibility along with it. We all paid the same amount out. Know one thing..if you ever get a certificate from the BIPDT you have worked hard for it..Ps it's our responsibilitTo make sure our dogs have been given all that is needed to keep them safe from the sun..no one would ever see any dog suffering. That was on yourself to look after max...sorry but you needed to understand the two sides to this .then perhaps people can make there own minds up !!

Nastaran Karimi: Absolutely frustrating,I was extremely excited to join the course,before enrolment I specifically sent numerous emails and said I'm beginner,and my dog is not well-behaved,I wanted to started this courier seriously in the field we've recently got and I was assured stage 1 is for people like me and is absolutely fine,the very first day I saw all people there were experts and they are there just to get the certificate so I was terrified and didn't know how to catch up while had no clue, there absolutely no introduction to beginners as they had promised,then these people as Dog Lovers forced me to put my dog on the son all day long in the car because he wasn't well-behaved because they were not able to teach, they were only able to teach the trained dogs!!!!!days 3 I did complain and I said I'm not going to put my dog in the car and if they have any space I am happy to put my dog which I knew there was an empty tent but they declined again and I said I've paid as much as others paid and I don't want my dog in the car any more, they got angry and their behaviour (but one) with me was like i haven't paid and they are doing a favourto me to let me stay there. I was under absolute pressure and after crying the whole day and my dog my terrified of staying in the car decided to leave the course 2 days before it finishes. I had never in my life felt being insulted as much as that week. Will choose somewhere that people are really animal lover and treat with people with Respect.

tracy temple: Attended this course, and it is fine if your already an instructor or wish to brush up on a few skills for competition , but definitely would NOT recommend if you wish to learn about actually training dogs. Completely knocked my confidence as expected you to stand up and instruct from day one, but not explaining/going thro what your actually instructing!. Based completely on obedience for in the ring competition. Would not recommend if you wish to start your own dog training club or for one to one. My friend has recently attended a IMDT course, advised she learnt so much more about training dogs and their behaviour than with BIPDT!. Don’t waste your money!
