joanne coates: Well what can I say my past experiences of the Griffin have not been the best I said I'd never use the place again but having been in there the past few weeks I can honestly say what a change great place lovely staff and so friendly I will certainly be visiting the Griffin alot more if I could could give more than 5 stars I would.

liam smith: Great place, it is a small venue went in to check it out as I’d not been there before everyone was friendly and music was playing atmosphere was great, the building is beautiful as well! Enjoyed it here would recommend anyone to pop in and check the place out like I did! I’d imagine in the week it would be quite cosy as well! Shame I don’t live in the area anymore or I’d pop in more often!

I was told the landlord was changed due to the pub not getting busy enough?

Colin Westwood: Started using the pub many moons ago. It was my big brother John who i used to meet in there for a chin wag about our favourite team, the Baggies and a game of dommies on a Tuesday and Thursday against two scallywags. Unfortunately John was called upstairs just over 3 years ago and i still use the pub. Mine host Sue and the rest of the bar staff are simply brilliant. Very friendly pub. Good banter with the locals 👍🙋♂️.
