Bridget Croft: I contacted Craig at CJB Carpentry who visited our home and advised and took measurements for a cabinet / bookshelves to fill an alcove in a bedroom. Craig emailed to me his design ideas and gave me a quote which included fitting and painting. I felt the price was very fair (and competitive). Craig kept me informed as to the time for fitting the cabinet / bookcase and advised me in good time of his diary dates for completing the work.The finished cabinet / bookcase looks lovely. The alcove looks great now but before it was a unattractive 'dead space'. There is a plug socket within the cabinet area and Craig adjusted the cabinet to provide a 'pop-up' work station which has proven extremely useful in the past year with lockdowns.Craig is a quiet and decent young man. He worked unobtrusively and left the work area clean and tidy. Craig was very careful to safeguard us from risk of COVID-19 and used hand gel and wore a face mask while fitting the cabinet.Craig also combined this job with designing for me a lovely heat resistant wooden / tiled board. More recently Craig has fixed a wooden cupboard door and we have commissioned Craig to design and fit a wooden radiator cabinet. Craig has also designed a wooden stand for a statue which is very solid and attractive.For all our carpentry needs we contact Craig not least because he is very reliable and quotes a fair price. Craig is highly qualified and this is reflected in the approach that he takes to his commissions. Using high tech equipment to plan out the drawings in detail. My draws were made and assembled and spray painted in his workshop so that it only needed a day to fit. Very tidy worker and cleaned up as he went. Absolutely love the work and the space he has created.
