Beat Brewery: what do users think?
David Hinton: Not your typical industrial unit, as it contains a brewery. Nice beer, nicely appointed space for drinking and live music.
Millie Craddock: We hosted a 40th birthday here and the staff and venue were fantastic!
Louise Longman: Lovely venue, great staff, clean toilets, really fabulous place. Highly recommended.
Nick Brettle: Brilliant staff, great place, good music. What more could you ask for.
Daz Hare: Beat brewery tour well worth the money and time well spent with Head brewer James, from the time we went in to the time we left, nothing was left out, from explaining the brewery and beer to the tasting, highly recommend.
Kathryn Jones: Hired this amazing venue for a children’s party at the weekend. Rachel and all the staff were amazing, so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The venue was spotlessly clean, a lovely space for any type of function. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely use again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kurt Jacob: Great pint
Natalie Parker: Fab party at Beat Brewery yesterday. Staff are so helpful and the room is great - huge space and fab that there is a bar there serving all sorts of hot and cold drinks. Highly recommend
Debbie Collins: Amazing! I booked with Beat Brewery for my daughter's birthday and everything was perfect - I really can't say enough about how happy we were with our booking, everyone commented on how impressed they were with the place. The space itself is lovely - clean, comfortable and modern. The staff are so helpful and friendly.I would absolutely recommend Beat Brewery for events or just a visit, nothing was too much trouble and Rachel is really lovely and helpful. Took a lot of stress out of the event knowing I had that kind of support!
Mighty Simbad Von Badass Shagnasty: Good beer, live music, dancing and good people. What's not to like! 😁
David Harrison: Great night out with live music
Roger Low: Good beer, friendly staff and good music.
MSH: Went there last night for a get together with our friend's family in the smaller room. The place is lovely. The staff are so welcoming, helpful and friendly . Would definitely recommend and will be going back.
Stew .Mitchell: Nice place, an industrial unit, very presentable and lots of parking space.Pint was 4.30£. Bit pricey and live music wax v loud, forcing us to scream at each other to effect any kind of conversation.Despite that, an OK place, and even the wooden benches outside are surprisingly comfortable to doze on, when (at 11.30pm) you realise that your keys are locked in the car and have to wait 3 hours for the RAC.Recommended.
Lesley: A light airy venue with a friendly welcoming team serving excellent craft beers
Mark Mckeown: Really good
Lee Hanson: Great people, great atmosphere, great beer
J Griff: Great place love it.Great beer and great staff
Adam Perryford: Loved it! Great find and top quality beers!!!
andy holden: Amazing place with amazing staff!! Massive place really clean and welcoming. Lovely range of drinks and all at good prices.
Stephen Oldbury: Staff who can't do enough for the customers and the drink is worth 5 stars all day long

Holdens Brewery: what do users think?
Mark Guest: Living away from the Black Country for nearly 30 years, I have always stocked up on Banks’s and KVE scratchings when I go “home”.I love Mild, the only pint I could afford as a wee boy, so searching the web for anyone that still brews it I was amazed to see the Holdens name come up (we had a Holdens “outdoor” on our Sedgley estate). Bit confused by the website I phoned up and Joanne said “ignore it, come on in”. So crate of mild secured, I added a crate of Bitter and just a bottle each of Pale Ale and Woodsetton Pale Ale. Friendly service as you only get in the Black Country (just missing Taraa a bit Bab!). Once back home the Mild is all I could have wished for, the Bitter perfect, but the Holdens Pale Ale is the most perfect beer ever. Not too strong, but a wonderful flavour means many a bottle can be enjoyed in one go. My only regret…. I only bought 1 bottle of the Pale Ale! Fortunately only 2 weeks before I can restock. Wonderful experience of buying real beer, freshly brewed no fizz and chemicals.
Colin Westwood: Under new management. Holdens bitter was £2:80. Now £3:10. Well worth a visit....🍻👍
Barry Jones: Found the location and parked up easily. The staff Lisa and Jo were s pleasure to work with and my order was as accepted and on my car in very short time. Enough to hear of an offer they had and purchase another half dozen bottles to bring home too. Lovely people and a brilliant range of products.
Russell Noakes: Great service even better product
Martin Zinzan: Smells amazing! Staff ace👍
Philip Darby: One of the best breweries on the planet!
Andy Millard: Brewery shop has all things Holden's
Mon M: Really enjoyable brewery tour... Tour guide Debbie kept it fun and informative. A good selection of beers to taste at the end accompanied by cheese, crackers and chutneys. Would definitely recommend to others. One very minor point... Bigger tasting cups would be preferable.
Julie Holland: Visited Holdens Brewery in Dudley today had a wonderful time, the your was a amazing ,lasted about hour 30 minutes, had samples of the Ales on your, then had a glass and bottle as a gift on way out, and able to purchase my favourite Golden Glow. Really had a lovely time would highly recommend it.
Tomasz Gogalinski: Really Good ales. Friendly and helpful staff in shop. Thank you :)
Springsteen Recordings: Quality
philip powers: The only pub that has its own brewery next to it. It is known as the Park Inn. Holdens beers that are specially brewed for their own pubs of which are located in and around the black country. Well worth a visit to try the beer's alone. Now that Xmas is nearly here holdens brewery make a winter ale called XL it's about 10% vol for those who like a stronger brew.
Geoff Whiles: A wonderful place to buy what is in my view one of the finest beers in the country. So I am biased? Certainly. Holden's Brewery has a magnificent history of brewing, over many years, so therein lies the heritage and experience for its products. So beer apart, the shop is a great place to search out the brews you might have missed or to try for the first time. Welcoming and inviting, and I struggle to not buy more than I intended. The staff are always enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. Seriously, what more do you want? Just get yourself down to Holden's and taste the history of the Black Country

Black Country Traditional Inns: what do users think?
Ryan Leech: Had the most amazing night tonight, everyone there are so friendly and welcoming. The staff are great and the ales they have on are the best you can find. Highly recommend to anyone that want a good night and some good drinks.
Sufkay: Excellent service and amazing beer 🍺
Mark Lain: We have been several times to the Queens Head in Wordsley and just wanted you to know what a great time we had there. The people who run the pub are so friendly and welcoming that we have decided to make it our local. Nothing is to much trouble for them to do and the food is excellent. Would recommend it to anyone to try. Everyone who works there is friendly and efficient and are keeping to Covid rules brilliantly
Robert Hunt: I feel i must wrire a review concerning the queens head in wordsley. I have started using this pub before lockdown .And i must compliment you as a company. Carol and geoff have really bought this pub forward. The ales are kept extremely well. And the food that carol offers is extremely good. From the loverly fresh cobs to the ploughmans platter. Its great to have old school traditions .thankyou black country ales.
Mac McColgan: Placed order at 4PM for collection, which was ready by 10am the next day. Big BCA sign helped me find the offices on the trading estate easily enough and BCA staff loaded order into car for me.Brucie-bonus was getting home and finding a complimentary selection of snacks to drink with my Pig on the Wall.Super service. Will use again.
Karen: Ordered a case of beer to collect. Was ready the same day! They even helped to put it in the car. Would definitely recommend their online service
Matt Oliver: Great range of beers
Vic Small: I use quite a few of The Black Country Ales pubs across the region regularly. They have a great range of Real ales & Cyders. There own range of Ales are very quaffable.I'm a happy customer 🍻
Roger Morris: Use one or two of their pubs which are OK but on an Albion match day we use the Seven Stars in Stourbridge before the game and the service is very very poor to the point that we are going to stop using the place.

The Fownes Brewing Company Ltd: what do users think?
M Murtagh: Last year I bought a crate of Fownes magnificent dark ales for Christmas, all was lovely. This year I bought a crate from someone else and it didn’t even arrive until New Year. Always trust the dwarves.
Mike Clifford: Great beer and amazing staff. Can't recommend enough!
nathan bettam: Great beer. Great company. Great tshirts.
Patrick Eaton: I feel as if I've found these guys late in the lockdown but let me tell you all I am so happy I have, my fav is rhyme of the dwarfen mariner. But what can I say from ordering my case of beer to delivery so smart and kept upto date. Good up the good work guys.
Ken Pratt: Just taken delivery of another case of their excellent beers. Looking forward to working my way through them over the next few weeks. Great service once again.Ken
Louise Dalton: Whilst lockdown has been an extremely challenging time for brewing and pubs, it’s a credit to Fownes for their innovation and determination to get their ales out there. I’ve ordered several of their beer cases; delivery is super quick and always friendly! The variety of beers is great and I love them all. Order some ales from this local brewery now - you won’t regret it.
missxtreme07 - Vix: Amazing beers, something for everyone. I've never had a bad pint. 1st class customer service with a great local delivery service
Mark Wootton: Fantastic Beers!A diverse range of styles aswell so there’s something for everybody,I can’t recommend these ales enough👏
A Shepherd: Fownes beers all have great epic taste, each one is an adventure no matter what your preference, you’ll enjoy them., service has always been great and always with a smile
Michael Norris: Fownes Dwarfen Ales are a Black Country craft brewer run by brothers Tom and James Fownes. They’ve been brewing since 2012 and have developed their skills so that they now brew some of the best ales/beers/lagers I’ve tasted in a good long while - possibly ever! Tom used to work with Jo so that’s how I knew about the Fownes boys’ brewing venture. From their Dwarfen Kolsch, brewed in the style of Cologne Kolsch, and to my taste buds as good as the original - through traditional Burton Bitter (Royal Oak Bitter) which is just fabulous - and on to the current trend for Pale Ales, Fownes have something for just about every taste. Get yourself one of their mixed cases and delight in a variety of flavours and styles of beer that will help get you through the remainder of the lockdown - and beyond! I keep finding new favourites.
Chris Dabnor: A friendly company that makes fantastic beer. The porters especially hit the spot.
David Atkinson: I have enjoyed every Dwarfen ale I have tasted! The beers are beautifully balanced and have interesting flavour profiles which set them apart from the pack. I have been having regular deliveries during lockdown. The service has been exceptional. They have not let me down once on delivery. I cannot recommend Fownes Brewery enough: top drawer ales made by top drawer blokes!
Beer Yeti: Fownes are by far one of the most underrated breweries that I've ever come across. They create beers that breathe tradition, sticking to solid styles while offering a modern hop forward dynamic. Their passion is conveyed through the great beer that they produce and I can honestly say that I've never had a bad beer from them.
Harry Vale: Cinemas and pubs are the two things I miss most from lockdown. A growing stack of Blu-rays has kept me going for the former, but it's Tom's incredible selection of beers and fantastic delivery service that has truly kept us going during these unprecedented times, the love and care Tom puts into his work is evident and we've enjoyed tasting all the different brews.Truly, from the beautiful artwork, to the fantastic customer service, Fownes have been a lockdown luxury. I can't wait to get back in my local and order a pint of Troll Hunter.
Martin Ruston: In a world dominated by national and international brewers producingtraditional but often bland beer and craft brewers always chasing the nextbig thing, it’s refreshing to know that there is an alternative. The Fownesbrothers aren’t looking for the next trend in beer (Imperial sour cherryblack forest gateau ice-cream stout anyone?) at the same time they aren’tshackled by tradition either. Instead, they brew progressive traditionalales bringing a new twist to traditional styles making them relevant toboth real ale and craft beer lovers alike.Consistently high in both quality and flavour their beers never fail toimpress. More “now” than traditional ale, less pretentious than the moreesoteric craft beers, simply great tasting beer to be enjoyed by everyoneeverywhere.
Damien Medhurst: I hadn't drank beer in a long time as I couldn't find one I genuinely enjoyed drinking every time. Then one day I found Frost Hammer in a local pub and I've been a fan of Fownes Beers ever since. I absolutely love the variety of beers that they produce from the Porters to the most recent Kolsch. I am yet to taste a Fownes beer I have not enjoyed with my current favourite being The Hanging Tree. My Dad also loves their dark beers so much as they are smooth and easily drinkable that he ordered an entire box of Korvaks Saga! On top of that James and Tom are brilliant owners and the friendliest brewers you will meet. The Tap rooms at the brewery are great evenings to have a few drinks with friends for a very good price and my wife and I loved the weekend we had at their Tap House in Burton. Overall my favourite brewers and beer. If you haven't already tried them then do yourselves a favour.
Sarah Fullard: Why do we love fownes beers in the fullard household- quite simply there’s something for everyone from the easy drinking pale ale to the interesting smoked rye beer and finally the lovely dark ales and fantastic Porters. Something to suit everyone’s taste never one to disappoint we have loved them all- just good ales made to perfection.
Stephen Aryan: Fownes are one of my local breweries but even if they weren't, I would still buy from them. The wide selection of beers available caters to every kind of palette, with light hoppy beers, and citrus flavoured pale ales to award winning dark ales, porters and powerful stouts. The other reason I like Fownes is they have a genuine passion for what they do and it really shows, both in their beers and how they deal with their customers. Always friendly and welcoming the Fownes brothers are a class act.
Mark S: Fownes are a great local brewery who offer an excellent range of ales. Great team and great beers cheers!
Ian Brennan: Great selection of beers and a fantastic team.Currently beers are available via delivery due to lockdown and their mixed boxes of beer are brilliant. 12 bottles all different beers!Keep up the great work, looking forward to another tap night when everything is back to whatever 'normal' is. 😁🍻🍻
Alan Neilson: Best ale in the Midlands. So happy they are now near where I live and they open the unit on certain days so you can pop in for a beer. You’ll need a coat and scarf during the winter as it is an industrial unit, so no roaring log fire. But the welcome and good company will warm you up. As will the 9% Downfall ale.

Sadler's Brewhouse & Bar: what do users think?
Carl Bradley: Went social beats not sadlers easter Sunday Ed sheeran tribute really good
Susan Hett: Is this a new party game ?? i would so like to be able to get into the bottleThe lid came off the cork the glue has failed and i'm left with a full bottle of raspberry cream liquer and no way of opening and re closing it again, you had me thinking on using a drill on the cork its no fun this you tease youp.s cannot find web link that works to send directp.p.s a drink would be nice
David Aldred: Quick tip and friendly staff 😎
Simon Jones: It was a nice private party unfortunately no beer and disorganised bar service.
Glenn Westwood: If you have a wedding party booked. You make sure you are stocked up on your beers. Not to have one off before the party even started. Only one till so the staff had to wait for each other to serve. So 20 minute wait. Plus the tills were breaking down over and over. Had to repeatedly ask for toilet paper. No close designated disabled spots. 2 flights of stairs to access the pub. Inside the bar is a nice size so with improvements it could be way better.
David Melia: Nice place considering it's in Lye great for partys but was 4 degrees outside which reflected inside at best 8 degrees so would normally stay till the end but more than a few people left by 10 pm they would have lost out on drink sales there reason for lack of heating was its a Covid thing
Martin SOUTHALL: Web site said it was open 3 to 10pm. We all arrived at 8pm to find it shut! Not happy!
Donald McMillan: Nice friendly FLT drivers, quick tip.
Peter Brook: Sorry but the beer was not very good, they had to go back. Rather disappointing.
Chris Fellows: Very good place for drinks.
Stuart Taylor: Great friendly staff. Superb customer service
Danny Stubbs: Great place to be. Very friendly and helpful staff. 5*****
John Ward: Great place , well worth a visitLarge selection of drinks and good food

Andrew Roscoe: Three orders off them all delivered in perfect time and all good quality love the peaky blinders scotch and mixed beers definitely recommend sadlers
jo ladd: ordered several items one of which was broken when it arrived . i emailed and they sent a replacement which arrived the next day.
Jason Smith: Like others ordered online. Only received 12 out of 24 beers ordered. No response to emails or web form. Unable to contact them via telephone
Linda Joyce: I received my order in good time however despite the promise of free delivery over £40 I got charged delivery of £5.95 on my order of £50.99. I have emailed three times and called but as with everyone else who's had a problem NO RESPONSE! Such a shame on you Sadler Brewery as you have some good stuff. Times are testing for evryone but the ones that shine are the companies who dont use this as a excuse for shoddy service and leave the customer ignored.
maureen abbott: Amazing value, quick delivery,2 days. Will order again.
Christina Lyons: Numerous emails sent to question incorrect item delivered for a birthday present. Not received a reply to date. Very dissatisfied
Ian Fortune: Made an order. They got my postcode wrong so item not delivered. Tried contacting several times with no luck. Automated mail reply. The phone number does not work either.Reporting them to VISA.Buy somewhere else to be safe.
