Central Clinic, Dudley: what do users think?
Angela Watson: Managed to get appointment on same day, staff was very helpful especially young girl at reception :). New Telephone lines make it much easier.
Sheraz Shahid: Very appreciative to reception young girl who got me appointment urgently thankyou. Very rarely go to doctors but was grateful for the help by doctor
Tai Din: Just moved over from stepping stones. Absolutely horrendous staff and cannot get appointments. When I first came in to Central Clinic for a registration form, the reception ladies were a breathe of fresh air. Helpful and smiling. Not sure what will happen with booking but just the initial interaction is big thumbs up! 👍 pleasant change and quick to assist in any way they can !
Daniel Diamond: I have been with doctors for two years and since it has been under new management it has been fantastic. The girl at the desk is very inviting very helpful with trying her best to get you appointments and the doctors are excellent. They don't seem to rush and they are very thorough. Communication is great too
Ineza Albin: 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Pops M: Since the surgery has been taken over I've been very impressed...I managed to get a same day appointment whereas previously it was 2 weeks in advance! Dr's seem more involved which is 👍 and they are using the messaging system which is useful to send pictures etc..lets hope it stays this way as it is a valued surgery with slow of history
Adam: So disappointed in this surgery, since covid the doctor just doesn't want to see anyone, everything seems to be passed onto the nurse there, my daughter was in agony with severe tonsillitis, couldn't eat drink or even swallow, extremely high fever, rang doctors bang on 8am took till 9.15 to get through, only to be told the only appointments they had where a phone call between 3pm and 6pm, no wonder there reviews are so awful, in the end my wife and my daughter had to walk to russells hall hospital and even they said how bad it was, and thankfully gave her the antibiotics she needed, the doctor at the hospital said they are really busy with people who needed to see there own doctor but can't get appointments so end up at the hospital instead, what a sad state of affairs this country is in
Mahboobeh Sanatgar: It is absolutely one of the worst Gp's I've ever seen, it's about 3weeks that I'm trying to book an appointment with a Dr. Bet i couldn't yetEvery time that I'm calling them they give me a silly excuse or they don't answer the phone. On the other hand my 3month son was really sick with high temperature i took him there their Dr. Said he didn't have any problem and he is better than me🙄after an hour we came back home and an hour later i had to took him to hospital and he was stayed there for 3 daysThe service of this Gp is rubbish.
Rehan Sha: Whenever we call user is always busy
Maddy W: The worse gp!!
Sue Lewis: After reading previous post about a 90 year old being treated badly I also can say I have experienced the same at this practice including 90 year old man being shouted at by a receptionist and putting the phone down on him because she had finished absolutely shocking manner to treat patients need retraining how would they like their families treated like this !! A matter I am taking further
Kelly Bissell: Phoned up in regards to my 90 year old grandad who has had previous TIA’s who has a fear of hospitals due to it. He’s been experiencing numbness in his left arm.I was 17 minuites late due to working at the hospital. to be told I was 17 minuites late and appointments have all gone by then. They can’t fit him in for a emergency appointment which to me that would be classified as a emergency appointment. Felt the surgery was unhelpful. To be told he would have to go to the hospital walk in even tho I told them I’ve had trouble even getting him to be seen at the doctors. This has resulted in my grandad refusing to go completely now. Where’s the duty of care. Here’s been here for so many years and was never a problem with dr brettle they would always look after my grandad and find even 5 minuites to just see him.Place needs reporting to a health ombudsman. Esp with all these reviews. Will certainly be looking into this
Mohammed Altaf: Shocking Practice. As mentioned on previous chat, since Dr Brettell had left the surgery has declined.Never seem to get any appointments, rude staff.I am contemplating in regards to moving.
Jack P: Its a shame there's no option for no stars. This has got to be the worst practice I have ever been too. Rude staff, things don't get done. Prescribe wrong medication also! Place wants closing down.
miro bariak: They have a 5 stars rating on the board,in practice they should have - 5 starsThe ladies at the front desk are completely out of touch with realityvery poor service.
Q-Anon Ro - The big salvation: This GP is the worse I ever gone to. The doctors don't care about any problems of yours, they will just say " there's no problem, you just take paracetamol and you will be fine" and you will get worse, and plus even if you want to go to a specialist as big as your problem would be they say you are fine you don't need a specialist. Don't go there 🤬🤬🤬🤬
Kira Mckenzie: Extremly poor
Lothifa Begum: Worse stuff and they are definitely not helpful.Getting appointment is too hard.I paid 30£ for the doctor letter.they said will call me for collection. But 3 week later i call them and they Said it's ready for collect.Recist stuff.Don't go there.
manizhah sahann: The receptionist are extremely racist individuals. I work for a pharmacy and when I went to collect a patient's prescription without a religious headscarf on with a face mask, they gave me the prescription. Later I began wearing a headscarf and went again to collect a prescription for a patient from the same receptionist and they never gave me the prescription and demanded they needed to see photo ID. Furthermore I told them they could call my pharmacy to confirm that I work there, but they still insisted on seeing a photo ID of me. Both situations where the same the only thing different was that I was wearing a religious headscarf when they rejected me.
Katie B: Avoid! 3 complaints have gone 'missing' and now not responded to a Freedom of information request. Also 'forgot' twice to send a referral for me. Since Dr Brettell has left it has become a joke. Check out their official inspection reports too. They support the complaints that have been put on here so it is not just a few disgruntled patients. Also, this is not down to the pandemic my issues with this surgery started before then.
Martyn Wright: I missed a call regarding my second covid-19 vaccine. A message was left to ring the surgery to book an appointment. I did so only to be told that they didn't book appointments and to ring 119. I rang 119 to be told that they were doing first bookings only and to call the surgery again to explain. I did this only to be told the same story again. I'm now left in limbo concerning my second jab. I have received no help whatsoever from the surgery and was given the impression that they're not interested in the slightest. Utterly useless is all that I am able to say about them.

St James’ Medical Practice: what do users think?
Lauren jane: Can never get an appointment . End up having to go down a&e n waiting hours just to see a doctor .Me and 3 month old have all symptoms of strep throat and I’m unable to get an appointment yet it’s all over news how it’s killing people and this is why . Absolutely ridiculous. There’s a receptionist there who’s so rude!
Rajesh Gupta: Called surgery last 2 days no appointments after waiting 2 doctors only on with over 10 rooms 35 people in que it’s a joke feel sorry for the receptionists but action needs to be taken
Michelle Macefield: Never have an issue booking either a face to face or telephone appointment. I thought that my last appointment was for 4.30 it was actually 4.10, I was 20 mins late ! The receptionist (Julie?) sorted this out for me and I was still able to see the doctor. Brilliant!
Emma Sheppard: Im a new paitent and i really cannot fault them absoultly amazing after attending another surgery and being made too feel demorilised after i was compared too a drug addict ,id understand if i had no issues but i am due my 31st operation i have chronic pain fybermygia fybermygia and double ostomies amongst othet issues , thankyou from thr bottom off my heart, i absolutely cannot fault there care
Steve Lisa: call number one for 17 minutes joke
Lee Silvester: The worst doctors I've ever known for one they take ages to answer the phone due to chatting away plus the lady on reception just wow how does she get employed as she is very rude and completely useless an I asked for appointment to see doctor porter and she said its phone only I'm like can you or my doctor see my symptoms through the phone she also said he will ring me back but didn't check my number to confirm this I'm lucky I'm giving it 1 star because in my eyes I wouldn't give that if any one goes to this doctors I would clearly move doctors and avoid.
Nora Beres: My doctor is Dr.Porter.He is amazing.I moved so many times I had so many gps. He is the only One who really listened. When I need referral he refers me . I get appointment easily as well.My dad is a retired gp so I can compare a good gp to a bad one. Dr.Porter is 100% an excellent doctor. I was thinking to move to a different area. Only reason I am staying because I don't think I can get a GP like this again if I moved.Thank you for being a such a great doctor.
Susan Belcher: I have been with his practice over 45 years and have had many diagnosis that have been so helpful. Ots kept me healthy for years
Cassandra Fellows: I wouldn't even rate 1 star if I had the chance to..Following moving back to the area I thought I'd become a patient here, unbeknown to myself that they lack skill in admin, it's it's a month since I put in my application and I'm still not registered there.. Its virtually impossible to get through on the phone, and when you do get through the receptionists are rude and fairly thick.I dread to think what it's like to actually visit the practice. I'll be taking my healthcade elsewhere..
Michelle Thadwall: Attended surgery this morning for my hooping cough vaccine as i am 38 weeks pregnant. On arrival was buzzed through via receptionist with no direction were i need to go. Was advised to take a seat. Receptionist asked me why i wasnt wearing a mask. I replied i am expempt, to which she asked my what my exemption was (not really sure if they are meant to ask this either way she has my medical records and should know ) i advised i am 38 weeks pregnant and astmatic . Today is a hot day i already suffering with allergies etc. Went in to see nurse called tracy who was very polite on way out i asked about the corona jab if i should book in or wait. Receptionist sat there extremley rude eat her sandwich as speaking to me i thought this was very unprofession and rude. When i said this she replied it was her lunch break and shes entitled to have her sandwich. Either was very unproffesional. After i made me feeling noticed i thought she was rude i was then verbally attacked via the other 2 woman behind the reception to say if i did not like it to go to another practice. I will be logging a formal complaint . Attitude was disgusting . Receptionist then said well your not wearing a mask. After me already explaining why im expemt. Never in my life been spoken to the way them 3 receptionists spoke to me today.
Tammy: One receptionist clearly doesn't have any telephone manners! Didn't even get her name! I've just called to ask if there is any known issue with the pharmacy telephone line next door as it has been constantly engaged since 09:30. She was quite rude and said "that's probably because they're busy" I told her I'll keep trying and she said "ok" and put the phone down.Maybe some further training is required 🤔
Debbie Roberts: Excellent service earlier this week. Telephone appointment the same day and prescription sent straight through to pharmacy.
Debra Jones: Dr Jalota and his team have cared for my family for many years I never have any problems booking an appointment and the care and consideration that has been shown by Dr Jalota the nurses, the receptionists and practice manager. Well done and thank you.
Gurwinder Singh: I always has bad experience here coz doctor here dont know f##k all they always says take paracetamol if u have any pain or problem i have been suffering from back pain from last 3 month and one more thing if u have appointment 3 o clock u will be seen 4 or half 4. I think they must pay us for waiting there they dont deserve to be doctor. I will say to all dont register here with any gp coz they are pointless
Nic Hadley: Very hit/miss if you get to speak to someone. If you are persistent you can usually get a routine appointment within a few days. Forget 48hrs if it's not an emergency. But then if it's an emergency you'll be seen quicker at a&e! Instead of putting your effort into being seen here, try self medicating and putting your effort into staying healthy....it's the austerity way!

Corbett Outpatient Centre: what do users think?
Lulu Pivarnik: Reebok, cancel my appointment totally impossible. I was on the phone for past 1 hr and line constantly busy. I have to drive there find car park space "impossible" to change appointment.
Karen A Ashbery: So professional
Tom Polski: Parking is an absolute joke. Multiple cars in a queue fighting for a spot and a security man taking photos of A cars parked A bit outside the lines. Is that nie you make money it something?
GARETH PARKES: car park is a joke !!!! i went around 25 times to look for a space i don't recommend this hospital
Dave Hull: Wonderful staff..v good apointment service
David Chance: It's a hospital so you get what you get
Robert Peters: I was called on my mobile for a biopsy and the wait was just 3 days, the staff were kindness personified, my surgeon modified her original plan to accommodate my request and although I was advised I would probably need pain relief I have had no discomfort whatsoever from the affected digit. A hospital department “Carlsberg”might have envisioned….
richard dhillon: Pre booked blood test, in and out in less than 10 mins, so no parking charge! Perfect!
Thomas Ellis: Visited on numerous occasions for blood tests, always book online to avoid a long wait or being turned away.Staff are always helpful, on the odd occasion have been delayed but never more than 10 minutes after original appointment time. Down to shear numbers of appointments.
john d: blood test, i booked a blood test here waited for a month, yet when i was there other people walked in after me with no apointment and were seen before me and other people, disrcaceful service , so why book an appointment in the first place
Gilly Hancock: Swiftly in and out for my blood test today ... superbly done by a young student Phlebotomist - she was excellent. On-line appointment system works well as there were no queues and the footfall of patients thus kept to a minimum. Lovely 'meet and greet' staff too .. thank you 😊
Rob: Visit to the Dermitology department for the second time for a biopsy procedure. Staff pleasant, professional.
Sim: Visited X ray department. Quick, efficient and friendly staff. Also I was lucky enough to get free parking as the barriers were up.
Ian Dixson: In...no wait to be seen...x rayed...and out. Excellent. Well done to all the team there...and thanks.
kieron odriscoll: Parking is awful. Not a long wait. Was a pointless visit for me. Orthopedic appointment just to be told I need to wait for an mri appointment.
Andy Gordon: Such a lovely hospital. The staff in Rehab are so nice. Friendly and so good at their jobs. A credit to our brilliant NHS.
Angela Johnson: I was in and out within 40 minutes ,great for once.
jayne Webster: I don't no why they have an appointment system for the blood tests. My appointment was at 13.00hrs got there at 13.00 sat around for 20mins and watched people with a 13.10 appointment go b4 me bcus they arrived b4 me. It would seem you only need an appointment then wait your turn even if you arrive 20 minutes b4 you time slot & some didn't even book an appointment. I won't be time consensus nx time.
Clive Share: Small hospital but more convenient and much better than walking for miles around Russell's Hall. Parking is sometimes difficult.
Trace Hadley: Pharmacy says open till 6pm. Husband just went to pick up a prescription and it's closed !! Have hrs changed
christopher davies: Always good and clean
