Our first job was cancelled on the morning , due to staff shortages, the company couldn’t apologise more and promptly rearranged ASAP. We also had a few issues with the windows that they sorted with no quibble. I can’t praise the fitters up enough Paul and Dan , great chaps and their workmanship is excellent . They listened to my wishes and acted upon them. They were tidy too. Michael Champion: Wow, what a great service received by Richard, I called him as I had both front bedroom windows blowing a draft (I live on top of a high hill) Richard came out within a few days to take a look personally, he gave me honest advise told me my windows were not in need of repair and highlighted what the issue likely was which was something I could fix, he did not try and upsell me on anything.In my experience a lot of companies wouldn't do this, he could have easily charged for his time and advise (like a minimum call out charge) but he didn't!One of my window locks is broken though so just awaiting a cost on that to repair it but I'm already so assured that whatever the price given it'll be the right choice.

Good after-sales service or warranty etc.Well of course I have not yet needed to judge the company on the last point but on the first three I rate the company highly. The sales pitch was informative and friendly, ditto the surveyor, the fitting team were friendly and efficient and took away all debris, cleaning up well afterwards. Communication throughout was by text message to and from my phone and there were no delays in responses. My wife and I love the windows and the fitting is impeccable.I think a supplier is often put most to the test when things go wrong, as mistakes and oversights can happen in the best of companies. A problem did occur but there were no ifs and buts about it; they put the problem right promptly and the quality remained high. I recommend the company.

Nigel Harrison: Very pleased with the job done. The windows are excellent quality and the difference made to soundproofing and elimination of draughts has been so marked. The fitters did a great job too. Properly decked out in PPE, polite and friendly and a delight to have in the house. The job was done to timescales promised and the guys even sorted out a couple of glitches with an unrelated door whilst here. After the Job we noticed a couple of minor issues but as soon as we reported these, they were immediately resolved All in all delighted and more than happy to recommend World of Windows.

I honestly thought Carera would be at the expensive end of the market, I've heard the radio ads, seen lots of vans and assumed they were pricey.I had numerous quotes, Carera was one of the cheapest.When Ian came out to measure, he was friendly and gave genuine advise, he was the opposite of pushy. I was awkward and asked for a quote with options, the prices were fair.The lads came out to fit 2 doors and a window, they didn't mess about and fitted inside 2 hours, they took all the mess away and explained any snags.Really impressed and I would certainly use them for the next project.

Gaz is one of the best and quickest workers I have ever seen and he did the job in double quick time. He was extremely polite and nothing was too much trouble! Chris was in the background helping Gaz and making sure that everything was left tidy. Between them, they did a brilliant job and I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who is thinking of having windows fitted!The windows were good value for money and Larry, the salesman, was very good and trustworthy. He was not how you imagine a double glazing salesman to be. Very often, they are extremely pushy and not very honest in what they promise. But Larry was not like this. We felt comfortable with him and the company delivered what he said it would.All in all, a very positive experience for us!

Richard Westwood: Right from the start the rep visited and advised us on their avaliable products. Shortly after we had a visit from the instillation team. Nothing was too much to ask and we were able to have updates from the team. The removal and installation was seamless with minimal disruption. The team cleared up and tided away at the end of each. In the space of two days all the work was complete. I recommend them if you are thinking of replacing your windows/doors. A++++
Andrew Kerr: After going out to 3 companies for quotes for a conservatory we chose Carera. They weren't the cheapest but to be fair all three quotes were similar. One company quoted for a conserva base which I knew I didn't want, we wanted a proper dwarf wall. From first measurement to completed conservatory was around 2 months, they quoted worst case scenario of 3 months so we were happy with the outcome. The builders were here for a about 2 and a half days in total digging the foundations and building the dwarf wall and base (they found a perfect match for our existing brickwork). The fitting team from Carera were on site for 4 days fitting the conservatory and snagging any little faults and helping the electrician pull the cables. We are absolutely delighted with the result, the rosewood colour is also a perfect match for the rest of the house.The actual conservatory is built to a very high standard and I know we made the right choice.
jane hunt: From quote to completion was over 3 months.During that time, we encountered delays and poor communication . We felt ignored and had to keep phoning to find out when the bricks were coming,the surveyor etc. When I complained,I was contacted by an arrogant man who was less than apologetic or sympathetic and blamed “Covid” ,staff shortages etc. It would not have hurt to keep us informed of the fitting date etc.However,I can report no delay in sending the invoice. It arrived within 24 hours of completion. No one thought to ask if we were satisfied beforehand. We are but would never use you again or recommend you to anyone else. Customer service needs great improvement.
