Castlegate Harvester: what do users think?
Eliza Davis: CHEZ was our waitress and she was just fabulous. So patient, friendly and helpful. There were 14 of us and because we hadn't booked in, I would imagine it wasn't ideal for her. But she didn't moan once. The food and drink orders were taken quickly and we soon had our bowls for the salad cart. The salad was fresh and a good range was available. Despite the large number of people ordering, our food came out quiclly and it was delicious. One person said her chips were cold and Chez quickly came out with a fresh bowl of hot chips. Nothing seemed too much trouble at all. The kids menu was great, with a main, desert and salad for £5.99 or £6.99, depending on size. Our refillable drinks were great and a real bargain. Highly recommended.

Raee Crawford: Not a massive fan. Waited ages for food. They were then sold out of brownies, wouldn't swap the brownie in the sundae for cook unless I paid full price for both £14 for a sundae that should be half that, no thank you... Cake was then over heated and tasted awful. Used to use the harvester all the time but won't be returning.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

Lisa: A friend booked a table here as it was close to where they lived whilst we were visiting. Our waiter was very polite and was trying his best but he was just torn between serving so many tables. He apologised several times as he just could not keep up with the demand. This didn't affect us on this visit as we were not restricted to time. The food was nice and the salad bar was fresh. I found the fish a bit greasy but nothing to complain about.Everywhere was clean and tidy there was ample parking and we would definitely revisit again if in the area.

Anthony Hyde: So disappointing. Have been here regularly over the last few years but this is the worst experience we have had and I don't think we will be returning. Price has increased but the meal and service has deteriated badly. Arrived at 12:45 only 2 tables occupied but bar service was so painfully slow. We ordered 3 carveries but we're not informed there was limited meats. All 3 of us wanted beef, there was none on the counter but was told that a fresh piece was coming out of the oven, vegetables were limited as turines we're almost empty. Another customer complained that there was no gravy, when we eventually got the beef we had to take it back as it was inedible, the knife would not cut through it. We had it replaced with turkey which meant their was no meat at all left for other customers, there was further complaints from others who left without eating.Have had a carvery at The Dudley Arms for £6:99 a far more enjoyable experience.

Curtis Owen: One of the nicest Sunday dinners I have EVER had. No exaggeration. Lovely food! The gravy was divine. If I lived in the area I would defo go back all all time. Space in the dining area, nice decor, lovely welcome at the bar, friendly service at the carvery, a billing error quickly rectified, and really friendly lady clearing the tables. Great choice of mest and veg and veggie gravy provided without me even asking. Really nice lunch experience all round and we'll definitely be back. Big 👍

Sam Brookes: I've been coming to Gather for 2 years now and can't fault the team, the food or the venue. I've bought my little boy in several times, have treated my parents to brunch and a coffee and on my day off today I spent my morning thinking about chicken flatbread...so off I went.Kid-friendliness: Toys and books to look at and the staff are great with kids! Wheelchair accessibility: Level access to the front and a fully accessible bathroom.

Jo Easthope: Lovely reminds me of the cafe on friends 😊 very warm welcome great feeling when your there have local musicians just a lovely chilled out place o and food is beautiful including vegan
Kerrie Fisher: This is one of my favourite places to visit in Dudley. All the staff are friendly and the quality of the food and coffees are at a high standard, but much more affordable that the bigger coffee chains. Everytime I'm in Dudley I pop in and say hi to the owners. I regularly meet up with friends here and I'm always recommending the place to anyone who wants to try somewhere different.

Faraday’s Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?
Lesley Ashton: There is plenty on offer for breakfast, from continental to cooked breakfast. The staff are always polite, friendly and helpful.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Carly Hipkiss: Went on 14th august 22 for our 1st anniversary meal was greeted by kim who brought our meals and drinks she made our day special she was very polite and also thanks to the chef who made us a extra menu as restaurant was closed but still allowed us to have out 1st anniversary meal in main restaurant all to our selfs only had to pay for our drinks as Copthornepayed for our meals as we had our wedding hear would definitely recommend this place as food was really nice.
Claire McCall: Absolutely fantastic service during our stay at the hotel. The team couldn't have done more for us to cater for my little girls allergies - I had a phone call from executive head chef before we visited to outline the safety measures that they were putting in place for her, all of her food was cooked fresh to order, we were seated and served separately to minimise cross contamination and every member of staff working during the weekend was aware of her allergies. The food was all delicious too, with super friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend, particularly if you have specific dietary requirements.
Keeley Bartlett: We went to the restaurant on the first night we stayed at the hotel as we got there quite late and it was easy. We wish we never did. Our food was OK but the children's meal was shocking. £6 for a TIN! of mac and cheese, which is disgusting at the best of times and something I would never expect to see in a restaurant. Frozen pizza for kids I get but Tinned mac and cheese? That's a whole new low. They may as well not have a "chef" as all the food could have easily been reheated by the front of house. The waitress was lovely but definitely is not enough enough make up for the completely unacceptable food. Would never ever go again and recommendyou don't waste your money either.
Dawn Dema: Bit of a let down on the website stated evening meal but all was served was bar snacks
Kevin Jones: Was quite busy for a Monday but waited over 90 minutes for a cheeseboard. Chased after about 50 minutes and was told the supervisor was on it. Supervisor came and asked if it was the burger i had ordered. Confirmed it was the cheeseboard and then nothing......After 90 minutes I went to the bar and cancelled but was told by a staff member pulled in from events that they couldnt refund me and I would have to see reception. In all those respects, the customer service experience was abominable. The only positives -the lady behind the bar who did her best try to move things on in a courteous way and was probably as frustrated as I was (and probably undairly took the brunt of my frustrations - so apologies if you read this)- the guy on reception who sorted things out in a measured and professional way, acknowledging my frustrations and calming me down.On the whole though, a very bad experience for a simple cheeseboard order.
Sitting Here.: Very overpriced for what it was, chips were basic £1 frozen french fries and partners onion rings the same even though they were 2.59 extra. We were charged 6 quid for a kids desert as they classed it as a main meal! Not being rude but my daughter had already eaten because she is 3 and it was merely to keep her occupied.Menu options were very limited and pricey.Staff were helpful enough but all in all we wouldn't go back or recommend.44.00 for two mediocre mains (cheapest on menu), 1 drink each and a children's ice cream.
Debbie Finch: Absolutely shocking. Ordered ribs, waited rather a long time when arrived they were like scratchings. Meal booked for our wedding anniversary. Ended up walking in the rain across the bridge to weatherspoons. Just so upset that we didn't get the copthorne experience after spending so much money on our wedding. The restaurant supervisor offered nothing but did take our £33+ for pathetic shared starters and bottle of white wine. Very, very disappointed
lianne historyfan: Friendly staff.Breakfast was good and I don't understand the negative breakfast reviews.Great choice of options.
asif s: Vegetarian options are very limited
Pammy B: Ibiza night, staff great room great, night started off good, shame music ended up pants, meal was nice but pudding was very bland, looked the part no flavour loads of people left it, shame, would come again though
Midlandc: Didnt eat there but staff were really nice.
Amanda Davey: Amazing buffet breakfast with a wonderful choice of food and drinks.
David Vickers: poor service and bland food
andrew thompson: Fantastic food and brilliant service. Would highly recommend.
Allen Williams: Wow. Great service. Great food. great location. We stayed 2 nights and ate here twice. The second time we had to order from the bar menu. But was still good. Just not as much choice. The staff were very attentive. They do need a little more training. But work in progress is good. A floaty coffee was there first downfall. LolBut now they know. I said if you just ask for it. I'm sure they will know what it is. And they did. Thanks again. For some wonderful food. And even better service .
