E Jo: Terrible experience.Took my bike wheel here to get new bearings, I told the man at the counter it needs new bearings as when it’s on the bike the wheel shakes side to side, he tells me there is nothing wrong with the and I tell him that it shakes when it’s on the bike and I ask him to just put bearings in it, he laughs at me and tells me there is nothing wrong with it, I have took it to another bike shop and they have took it in and are fixing it with no problem I only gave it 1 star as it didn’t let me put 0 stars DO NOT GO HERE !!

Rob James: Dropped my bike off at 4.30 on the Friday and was able to collect it at 4 the next day. Quick service. I was quoted a lot more for the same job and the man did it for a fraction of the price. Top service and fast turn around.
Courtney Jade: Always have this shop in mind for bikes as family have used this shop over the years ..not anymore. Would give no stars if i could. Rang up about buying a bike but was attempting for it to be a surprise for my daughter and they recommended bringing her in which I completely understood. Went out of my way to go in to size my daughter ,after they recommended me to do so, and then come back to purchase the bike just so it was kind of a surprise for her after . Explained the situation as soon as I came in the shop and got refused more than once for her trying out a bike... who purchases a bike without trying it first? Would of happily put down a deposit to hold the bike I just wanted it to be right for her but that wasn't even an option. There's no way this wasn't prejudice since they had offered what I was asking for on the phone already...unfortunately you can't see through a phone when talking to customers. I'm sorry but this is 2022 and I just wanted a bike for my about to turn five year old daughter who I then had to push out the shop while she asked me why she couldn't try a bike. Honestly disgusted. Would not recommend and will definitely be spreading the word on this one.

Alan Hindle: Have had three kids bikes from BD Price over the years, one just the other week. I could have got all the bikes for a little less online but when I had to take one bike back to true a wheel after a couple of weeks use there was no problem. You don't get a personal service with the big companies or online orders. We need to support our local businesses or else we will lose them, especially with the pandemic.

Adrian Keeling: Avoid this shop like the plague. They are great so long as nothing goes wrong with your bike. When it does, look out! I purchased a very expensive Mafiabike from BD Price which then developed a manufacturing fault with the rear wheel. This caused considerable damage to the front sprocket, chain and frame. BD Price were very unhelpful and refused to honour the warranty. (Simply blaming my son) Buy your bike somewhere else that has better customer service.

Stephen Cresswell: Nice guy had a new tyre off him and labour for 50 pound which is reasonable he wanted another 50 to replace both sets of brake pads but I couldn't afford it so got them off the Internet and fitted them he said he had to move my mudguards as he couldn't remove the wheel I removed it but had to take off the brake caliper he drilled and moved the mudguard which I thought was great until I couldn't get my battery out of my bike because now the battery touches a part of the light bracket that's part of the mudguard in the end I got some pliers and bent the bracket so the battery just about comes out

I used to deal mostly with Andy, Graham and one I cant quite recall the name of.. not sure if they still work there. I have recommended this place to MANY people and all say they have had good service.I remember one day I had a puncture whilst out on a ride and I popped in with NO MONEY. they sorted me out no issues and just said get them a drink next time i'm in.. they wouldn't accept anything in the end,

Chris Horne: Great to see a good range of quality bikes on sale here today. I called in to pickup a repaired wheel, this is a 'proper' bike shop with a workshop and skilled staff. There are bike shops closer to where I live but two wheels is the best I've found in the west midlands.

Hubble GK1976A: This could be a great little local bike shop, if the owner could be a bit more concerned with customer service instead of making money.I have no idea why this place gets such great reviews, (unless they're all mates of the owner of course) because every time I've been in there I get instant bad vibes.It's true that most of the staff are very polite and experienced, but the owner has got some real attitude issues.I say this, but having recently spoken to a competitor bike shop, a lot of the best technicians have already left.It's not just me either as I have a number of friends in the bike industry who have either worked at Two Wheels or own their own shops.All of which have said exactly the same as me.The owner loves a good argument, won't help you out unless there's a profit to be made and is always right apparently.Good job there are better bikes shops in the area.

Mohammed Miah: After Reading all the Great Reviews and finally visit this great cycle shop near me I would have given it 5 stars in all the category it would need to be best in the Midlands. I had bought some used bikes for my children as their first bikes and needed some professional advice and a puncture fixed on one of the bikes? As soon as we walked in we was welcomed & and after raising my concerns about the bikes it was soon looked into and one bike puncture was repaired straight away and the other one was not repairable due to its wear and tear? It gave and the kids to have a look round the showroom and straight away felt it was very expensive in the showroom and I guess it comes with some kind of warranty included in the price. The puncture cost me over £18 and I think I recently had a puncture fixed on my car for £8 so felt it was very expensive, that's why I only gave 2 stars As I feel it has scope for improvement in that field and that is just my opinion. Jon Quick: I approached Hawk Cycles for help with a budget road bike build to go on my indoor trainer and zwift. I sourced all the parts new, 2nd hand and my old bike parts and arrived at Hawk with a frame and a box of bits!From start to finish the customer service was first class. The friendly welcome and enthusiasm set me at ease. Harry from the mechanical service team discussed everything in detail, and an estimate and timescale agreed, along with the reassurance of a call if any issues arise.The finished bike build was perfect. Work completed to a very high standard with lots of attention to detail. You can tell these guys are passionate about their work.I will be returning to Hawk Cycles for work on my other bikes. Highly recommended servicing department, competitive prices and a great team. Thanks again!

Zomb13k113r (Zomb13k113r): I have had good experiences with this company but when things go bad they do absolutely nothing to put it right. I ordered a set of cranks that they had had in stock for years. I was dubious as to whether they had them at all so I called. I was told they had them. Four more days went by and it said my order was being picked so I phoned. I was told the order had been shipped and to expect it very shortly ! Great !. Then the next day I get a refund through Paypal. I don't like this type of dishonesty. You messed up, you should have been honest about it and not wasted more of my time. I then had to wait three business days for the money to show in my account before I could order another set, by which time the alternatives were sold out. I don't base companies on what they do right. I base them on what they do when they mess up. Nothing is not a satisfactory response.

Simon Hodson: All I can say is, they want you as a customer more than any other store. I had a bike to trade and wanted a Levo SL. Went to see the major player in West Brom first. They offered me £600 for my Stumpy Evo and gave a list of things wrong with it and said the finance would be £156 a month for 5 yrs. I walked out and won’t go back.I went straight down the road to Race Co. They gave me £1750, my estimate, for my bike and then put it on their store for that same price, making nothing in that sale, then put me on a new SL Comp for £86 a month. Sale done, new customer acquired.They couldn’t do enough for me. And since then, they have been golden.They work for it which is what you need from your bike shop. Just wish they weren’t on the other side of the planet to me.Being totally honest, what they might lack in a bit of customer friendliness, they more than make up in professionalism, ability, knowledge and delivery.I would recommend them to anyone looking for the right advice and guidance and for the best shop to support their riding!Thank you Race Co!

Dctec Mountain Bike: Amazing array of emtb and ebikes here I have to say its got to be the UKs premier e bike shop.Not just for availability of stock to view but also the dedicated staff there to make sure your buying the right bike and getting the right aftercare too.The shops got hundreds of bikes to buy, loads of clothing, parts and accessories.Their workshop is second to none, lots of talented mechanics and the very best in tools.I know where I am going when I need to buy a new or ex demo emtb or ebike.

Adam South: We've been crying out for a shop like this in B62/3 area. What a shop!Brought my Diverge in a panic after snapping a bolt on brake caliper that then got lodged in the frame. Guys could have easily charge me for a new fork. Seeing how panicked I was, they went to work on it straight away and somehow managed to get it out. I was so impressed with the service. Cheers guys.

John Oakley: I bought my Levo carbon expert 2nd hand from RaceCo in December and the motor developed an issue after 150 miles. It had covered 1000 miles total. Took it today and they swapped the motor out for a brand new august 2021 model motor there and then whilst I waited all under warranty. 1.5 hours later I was driving home!Can’t ask for more.Absolutely superb customer service and can’t recommend them highly enough. This is how shops can and should be hence I need to publicly praise them for their efforts. I hope they prosper and so well. I’ll certainly be recommending them to everybody. They deserve all the success in the future

Peter Bligh: I rang Race Co on Friday about a used Ebike,, spoke to Paul, who was happy to spend time to look over the bike as we spoke, and answer my questions about the bike.I agreed to have the bike, and paid for it.The bike was despatched Monday, having been cleaned and checked over, and was with me 9am Tuesday morning!I assembled the bike and found a couple of minor issues, when I spoke to Paul, he talked me through the problems, which I was able to resolve, but he assured me that if there were any problems, they were happy to sort things out.......this is on a 4 year old ebike, used and not a £10k new bike!What can I say, amazing service, from start to finish. Considering I hadn't seen the bike in reality, I was slightly hesitant in buying it, but I have to say, I would happily deal with Race Co again, and can't recommend them highly enough.Thanks to all the team at Race Co......ride safe and best wishes for the future.

Jamie Jackson: They always do a good job.I’ve taken 3 bikes to this store now for various jobs. They usually get the work done in 24 hours unless they need to order parts, both bikes they have serviced have felt like brand new when I’ve ridden them afterwards. I had new bars put on one of my bikes which had some quite complicated internal cable routing and they did a top job with that - it looks superb. They also don’t try and sell you stuff you don’t need, they aren’t pushy and always offer advice. Plus they were the only place I could find a set of Pirelli tyres in stock!

lyndon Boyden: I've been taking my vintage wheels for spoke replacement or trueing up to the old guy for a number of years and never had a problem as I'm a local vintage and classic bike dealer so a new guy I haven't seen before tells me the chrome steel rim is scrap and needs a new rim lacing due to rust and won't replace a couple of spokes I know he's taking the Mickey as it's not rotten it's light surface rust on the chrome , sorry but I won't be returning.

Matt Sutton: It's amazing that this place has lasted so long when it's run in such an unprofessional way.I requested a simple part replacement, and was told to return in 2 days and it would be done. I returned and was told by an incredibly rude and abrupt old guy that the job hadn't been done and told to come back the next day instead. This happened a further two times, and no explanation or apology was offered at any point. On the third visit I asked how much it might cost and he said 'I've no idea', and so I decided to go elsewhere after wasting a week.How can you possibly run a business when you're not willing to communicate with your customers? In the current circumstances they're probably busier than normal, but in that case why not take the customer's number and let them know of any delays? At the very least make an effort to pretend to care about their custom.Supporting local independent businesses is admirable, but this place seems to fulfil every bad stereotype.
