Bumble Hole Local Nature Reserve: what do users think?
Ivy Cookson: Lovely place for a walk and a visit through the tunnel (take a torch and wellingtons)
Stan Nicu: Very beautiful place.
Valentyna Kucheriava: One of my favorite places to visit, very peaceful, beautiful, amazing for summer picnics.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …More
Sam Christian: Nice
kristian watts: Nice place to walk the dog forget where you are for 5 mins and be at one with nature
Sicko Adams: Great for walking dogs
Richard Barkway-Smith: A great place to exercise. It attracts all sorts of wildlife and is a great place to take picturesVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Sue Harper: Dog-friendliness: Lovely long walks round the areaPicnic area: Plenty of places for a picnic
Wendy-Jane Latham: INCREDIBLE place. I am from Italy and have never seen anything like it. The VOLUNTEERS keep the place as immaculate as possible. Unfortunately idiotic, bad mannered cretins leave litter and dog poo for others to pick up. Just shame the cafe and visitor centre is not open more often - they could actually MAKE money if they did as there are always loads of people around.
Melissa Psychic: Stunning place lovely people
Bridge Aluminium: Great place to visit, walk around, chill out, walk the dog, or both 🙂
Adam Willetts: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended NoMore
John Neale: Playground: There isn't a play area, but large area of flat grass to play onRestrooms: None open most of the time
Fayth Webster: Visited on Weekend Wait time No waitMore
Simon Sheridan Karate: Lovely place to stroll and enjoy nature, a small carpark that usually has spaces and plenty of things to see and do either by the canal or in the fields and woods. Always plenty of birds to spot and people out to say hello to. It is also the entrance to Netherton tunnel, Europe's longest double toe path canal tunnel. Worth a walk through, but you'll need water proof shoes and a good torch.
Mark Lounds: Went to the annual show.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Dariusz Fischer: Piękne miejsce
Angela Yates: What a lovely place for walking, cycling etc. There are many fields, pools and canal areas to visit and walk along with a visitor centre that opens 3 tuned a week. There are benches around so you could take a picnic.Unfortunately our visit was spoiled by someone setting fire to the bushes over Netherton tunnel and I had to call the fire brigade. The fire was extensive and well ablaze.A fisherman told us he had to put a fire out the day before that kids had lit.
Keith Bracey: Bumble Hole Canal Visitors Centre "on the cut" is a great FREE place to walk and see widlife. We saw a crane Canada geese, Swans , ducks and moor hens at Bumble Hole
Alan Manton: Beautiful spot, very basic Cafe with small museum. Refreshments very reasonably priced. 😎
Holly H: Beautiful views with lots of walking opportunities. I come here at least once a day and absolutely love it. So calming and peaceful.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …More

Lynette finch: Took a lovely circular walk around the reserve which took in the reservoir and old quarry.
BigBearLogic: Sharing Saltwells and Netherton Reservoir with Jake our black lab pupster 😂👍Thoroughly recommend the nature reserve, hard core tracks perfect for pushchair or self propelled/pushed wheelchair. Off track footpaths offer a different atmosphere to the park. Clay pit is worth a mooch too, very prehistoric in feel and atmosphere as it goes really quiet the lower you go.Take the large geo/nature route upto reservoir and back to Saltwells pub for full experience of Saltwell nature reserve itself. There are attaching footpaths/public rights of way to take you a bit further.Best time to visit, early morning 6-7am or 9.30-10.30am or 6.30pm. Bird and wildlife much more active.
B P: Nice reserve, nice scultpure touches but the amount of trolleys and junk dumped into the stream was a sight for sore eyes. Had to explain to my kids that it's the scrubby dirty people that live in the council houses that do it, and carried on the walk. It's obviously a recurrent problem.
Daisy: Lovely place to walk around to see the wild horses was pleasant and the hills were beautifulVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …More

Colin Dooley: I might need another visit to unsour my viewI like dogs, I have had many. I appreciate most dog owners are conscientious, but I get fed up with the few that spoil it for the many (yup...I know) either by having dogs off leads or not cleaning up.I have kids now, so it's worse when they are jumped on (yup your dog loves kids I know) and/or I have to wipe off all of their mess off shoes, push-chairs etc.It is a similar story at the Leasowes and Warley Woods.I don't know how you solve the issue completely (reasonably anyway) but cleaning up and attaching leads surely isn't too much to ask.Forgetting the whine above, the reserve itself seems like it is a great place to escape the semi industrial and super commercial places around it. Hats off to everyone who puts a shift in to maintain it.
Duncan bonnar: Nice place to go for a walk with different walks depending on yourselfDog-friendliness: Great for dog walkingVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More

Dudley Water Sports Centre Ltd: what do users think?
Lindsey Poston-Simms: Netherton open water swimming 🏊‍♀️
Gary Inman: If your looking for something to do with your children and always fancied water-skiing and a hundred plus miles from the sea just phone up and book yourself in . More often having tried and enjoyed you'll be back for more. Very friendly members with BWSF instructors . I visited to see if they did boat training then found myself being a family member for 10 years and have to say those years were precious.
Steve Lavan: Loads of fun
Pammy B: I go diving there. Nice place on the doorstep. Lots of waters ports available
Sandra: Amazing beautiful outstanding and all around that erea SALTWELLS NATURE RESERVE ❤️
Glynn Coles: I enjoyed the new experience of open water swimming and it was organised very well .

Patrick Parkes: A good afternoon sailing!
Jane Nicholson: Great for open water swimming book via actio

Toby Austin: Brilliant place. Had a great time here with Dudley Water Ski, Wakeboarding & SUP Club!
Daniel DK: Got baptised along the reservoir, what a nice place to do it with friends and family.
Richard Hackett: This really is a hidden gem. A beautiful reservoir with amazingly clear water offering fishing, diving, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, water skiing and open water swimming. Covid has restricted some aspects of the facilities, but normally there changing rooms, showers, conference centre, small kitchen and bar.The water sports activities are run from the clubhouse which is also available to hire, and each activity is given its own regular weekly slot, to ensure the facility is safely used.
roger attwell: A beautiful picturesque view from the club House, staff are friendly and loads of water sports available
