Sarah Westwood: Had a meal here for my nans 83rd birthday so there were 30 of us food and staff were amazing couldn't fault them they made my nans day even more special thank you everyone there will defo go again 😊
Antonio Bay: Great service right from the front door, food was amazing! Great atmosphere. Many thanks for making my daughter happy too, 110% return here in a hurry. Great job guys
chris williams: Great food friend enjoyed aswell
Claudette: What a great find!!! Being Gluten Intolerant it’s always a bit tricky to find nice food. Made it super easy to order from the GF menu, and I was lucky to come on a day that I got a free GF pudding 😍👍I ordered the Chicken New Yorker. The chicken was tender, bacon crispy and the BBQ sauce complimented everything. Also came with a nicely cooked jacket potato, coleslaw and fresh salad - all tasted great!!!I order a Malibu Colada - Fruity, exotic and a nice Malibu kick. For my free GF pudding I went for Apple & Berry Crumble with custard. First time trying a GF version and you would not know, really tasty 😋Love the design & decoration of the restaurant/pub, makes it really individual and interesting. Also got seating outside for warm days like today.Top shout out to the lovely staff who made my visit special and really looked after me.Great Service, Great Food - Highly Recommended!!!
Megan Hinton: Great.
Emma Collett-attwell: Excellent service always. The manager always goes above and beyond with her customer service. The food is amazing.
Jason Plader: Nice friendly service but a bit pricey on the drinks
Hannah Carr: Myself and my partner came to Birmingham from Dorset for the weekend, we had dinner booked here for the first night, we then came back for breakfast the next 2 mornings. The service we received throughout all of our visits was exceptional. We were always greeted with smiles and kindness. The food was cooked perfectly and served hot and always came promptly. Several staff always checked that we were ok throughout our meal. We felt so welcomed here, all the staff were really friendly, particularly Edel the manager, she saw us on the first night and the last morning we went for breakfast she recognised us and greeted us yet again with a smile and a chat. Credit to her and her team to be trained in excellent customer service, we will definitely be returning again. Thank you again for such a lovely weekend of great food!!
Sherrie Parkes: Food was fine, very cheap, staff were pleasant but the toilets were in a very bad shape and were not useable.
Robert Hickman: Had a problem with my Granddaughters meal just asked and was sorted out immediately, very impressed and would recommend.
ben howarth: Good solid food and really excellent service. Would come back again in a heartbeat
Amanda: Gorgeous great quality food, lovely staff, friendly
Donna Pitts: Went for breakfast it was deliciousService was great100% recommend 🙂
ZesT: We most likely came in at a busy time, but had to wait ~40 mins for food and when it did come we got a burger with salad and mayo despite ordering one without. The bacon in the burger was a little lukewarm and the scampi in another part of the order was practically hollow, but those were the only issues with the quality of the food itself which is why this is a 2-star instead of 1. Would perhaps be better at a quieter hour but would not recommend at rush hour.
Mark Randell: Sorry to say this is our second time there, and it was worse than the first. The steak was disgusting. Not value for moneyBut the assistant manager has given us a free meal to use at a later date. That's if we go back....
Wendy Macefield Horton: Visited yesterday on my birthday, the staff are ALWAYS so welcoming and work very hard to ensure a good experience.Food was lovely as usual, thank you team xx
Paul Jenkins: Food was okay.
Simon Payne: Went for a meal with my wife n waited over 45mins for our food was disgusted with the food they sent out chips barely warm but burnt? Chicken like jelly corn on the cob stone cold I ordered a curry hardly anything in it u cud see the bottom of the dish so when waitress came over all we got off her was ill change it its fine I kept trying to tell her what was wrong with food she said again its fine ill change it so ended up getting the manager over to be fair he did listen n when food came out again it was hot then but won't be going again terrible experience
Keith: Lovely breakfast.
Lee Constable: The food was good and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Served quickly and food wasn't a Long wait
Matthew Jackson: I didn't think I'll bother ever again. When we got there we had already pre booked. The chap on the door took ages to see us. Then he couldn't even find our booking. I literally had to point it out to him. Then he sat us at a dirty sticky table. That was it. No thanks.

CeCe_Gamez: The food was awful, no flavour and tough. And expensive for what it was.Access to the place was not great as you have to go down about 5-6 steep steps.Only reason it's 2 stars instead of 1 is the staff member that served us was nice and sweet. But would definitely never go back

The Old Glasshouse: what do users think?
Valerie Elsworth: Absolute joke! Booked, checked booking and received e-mail confirming booking. Turned up, a party of nine and they weren't even open. Not the first bad experience we've had with this venue but decided to give it a second chance. Previously booked for family b/day meal(14 people) and although they acknowledged that the booking had been placed they had cancelled and rebooked the tables. Bad attitude, no apology.
Philip Kinmond: Trying to book a table by phone is impossible ive tried for days all different times know one answersTried to make a reservation on their website no reply it just falls by the way so we won't be bothering very poor
James Morphet: Clueless. Waiting staff were very poor. Did not know what they served drinks wise. Did not know what was on the menu. Food was ok. Bill was incorrect at the end too. I felt sorry for the chef who was at the mercy of the front of house buffoons. The worst place I have ever paid for food.
Joan Clark: Excellent meal a bit quiet but enjoyable
Julie A: nice atmosphere, great building, good to see investment in Dudley, oh, the food was nice too.
Nikita Amin: Quite possibly the worst Sunday roast I’ve ever had - it was bland and completely tasteless. When booking my reservation, the latest time available was 3pm. Later that evening I was called by the restaurant to see if I could come in earlier and I said no as I was at the Black Country Living Museum. When leaving the museum, I called the restaurant to let them know that I’d be a couple minutes late and the man I spoke with on the phone, which upon arriving at the restaurant I realised was the chef, told me that they will be closing soon because it’s quiet and the staff want to go home, that that was the reason I was contacted yesterday to come in earlier so they could close early. The man was rude and abrupt and it soured the experience before I’d even got there. Once there, (and it was completely empty) the waitresses were nice enough but again, the food was just awful. I really wish I had not given the restaurant the benefit of the doubt after the rude phone call and gone somewhere else with better customer service and much better food. Would not recommend.
Alison Cox: I was kept waiting a long time before anyone served me and then the food was OK but very spicy.
Susan Smith: Not a very big menu, hardly any choice
Felicity Ryan: Well this was a total disappointment. We had booked for 6 people and 3 kids all needing a high chair. My sister had talked at great length with them on the phone when booking about our needs. When we arrived they tried to put us on a table for 6 people, clearly not enough space and then we waited ages for them to get us high chairs. Then the menu came. Only an option of a set menu, either 2 or 3 courses, no a la carte. It doesn’t say that anywhere on the website. The selection of choices was disappointing to say the least. Then I asked where the kids menu was and they said they didn’t have one but they do either fish fingers and chips or chicken nuggets and chips. We had no idea how much it was we just had to pick from the two. When my sister queried this and said she’d checked and they offered more than that on the website and what about a pasta dish the girl went and checked and came back and said yes they’d do pasta. What pasta?! What does it come with?! It was a disgrace. The girl by this point was downright rude. Then she asked for our drinks order, we didn’t have a drinks menu so asked what wines they did and she spouted all the different types of wines, again there was no prices so when we asked she just gave us a price, we have no idea if she’d just made it up or not, who knows! The food itself was also disappointing. My sea bass looked promising but it had no seasoning what so ever and didn’t have any taste to it. The white wine sauce literally tasted of nothing, it may well not have been there. The other diners were equally as disappointed with their food. Then it came time for dessert. I hadn’t had a starter so was looking forward to sticky toffee pudding as was my dad. My dad received his pudding, the kids received their ice cream and I asked where mine was and then when everyone else was eating they said oh sorry we don’t have anymore sticky pudding left. What else do you want. How disgusting?! Who waits until everyone is eating to tell customers there’s none left. This left me fuming. This place knows nothing about customer service. I don’t know if all the staff were new but none of them seemed with it, even the barman didn’t know where to fill up a water jug from and after asking twice I had to go up to the bar myself to get it along with the glasses. What’s worse is that we were in Dudley to celebrate my dads 70th birthday and this was his celebration meal. What a total shame. It’s not like we turned up late in the evening. We had booked for 5pm on a Saturday night. So all the people who came after us must have been severely disappointed with the lack of food and the s*** service. I used to work in hospitality and I would have been fired if I behaved like they did. I would never recommend this restaurant. If I could give it no stars I would. In comparison the next day we went to Bella Italia for lunch which I normally wouldn’t rate at all, but they were so nice, so pleasant, nothing we asked for was too much, the table was ready waiting with all the high chairs, kids menu choices were great and the food tasted good. Who would have thought I would gush about a Bella Italia but the comparison was just the other end of the spectrum that’s how poor this restaurant was!
Amanda Gilmour: Oh my days!!!! Upmarket venue for today's Dudley. Popped in for a few drinks before a show at the Town Hall. The manager, the service and the atmosphere was second to none!!! Wow!!! Food looked, and smelled, amazing!!! I highly recommend
Charlotte Main: Relaxed atmosphere. Children enjoyed playing in the outdoor area . Lovely family meal 😍
The Hairy Badger: Great food, had a wedding meal here
Danai Leonorah: Loved it. My family is large and we always struggle to find where we can all eat. We were celebrating 2 birthdays. They were so accommodating. The food was absolutely tasty and we got to meet the chef. The only thing was we were not given a drinks menu but that did not get in the way of their staff being nice . I would highly recommend
Need a Hair Makeover Hair Extensions Hairloss Salon: Really nice meal. Nice atmosphere really recommend. Https://g.page.needahairmakeover
Dawn Matthews: Lovely place, great food
Philip Bate: Brilliant place food magnificent staff really nice and helpful 10/10
Denny R: I can not understand why there any reviews higher than one star. Guests must have eaten before they had food here! Defo in need of Gordon Ramsay to get this place on track. Before mentioning anything else the staff were gentle and welcoming ok service, polite and explained things well. Hence the one star.Had three places to book, my wife saw this place and we thought lets go as a table was available.Arrived with some friends for food, no drinks menu. Ordered what drinks were available, just apple juice and asked for hot water x 4 and was told it would be ten minutes. Excuse me... Ten minutes for hot water. Only one cup ever came even after asking and reminding three waitresses on 3 occasionsThe waitress later explained there is one chef in tonight. Being understanding as we were, we said ok and ordered food.Starters were ok.Mains- steak x 2 was good was given no steak knife until i had asked. My wife order a burger which looked very suspicious. The burger itself was supposed to be beef but look like a clump of rusk and soil put together. Quality very poor.My other friend order the chicken and potatoes. Hardly ate any because the chicken was DRY. A very common theme in the honest reviews. We skipped desert and glad we did.In the end we were told cash only which im fine with except i had not enough cash on me so we had to walk down the road in the freezing cold to get cash to pay for meals that were inedible. The restaurant still expected us to pay for two of the meals that were hardly eaten and so halved the cost for those two meals.Easily a contender for the worst restaurant experience i and other with me had had in years.Until they have more chefs and quality produce avoid this restaurant or stick with the steak and soup. Oh and theres no ketchup!
Julie Dixon-Evans: Lovely experience, great prelude to a show
Jinksyy94: Have been to The Old Glasshouse on 2 previous occasions and received fantastic service and food so I had no concerns recommending it to my friends. However, myself and 2 friends who hadn't been before, had a totally different experience last night. The set menu was different to the website as it hadn't been updated. When we arrived, we were told it was cash only so we were wondering if we had enough cash. We ordered our drinks and were told there was no Ice. My friend and I chose the blade of beef which I have chosen before and was delicious. However, the beef this time was so dry and stringy. My friend's beef was the same, it was inedible both of us left the majority of the meal. I feel the quality of the meat was poor. My other friend chose the chicken which was dry too. When the waitress collected the plates, I mentioned that the meat in all 3 meals was very dry and could she tell the chef. She didn't acknowledge my request or offer an apology. We were all so disappointed with the food and it spoilt the night.I'm really sorry to say I will not be returning to The Old Glasshouse and wouldn't recommend it to any friends or family. Shame on you, you didn't attempt to put your failings right. 😡
Andrew Garbett: Great food. Great service. Will definitely go back.
Tracey Barnes: Has a fantastic Sunday lunch today. All fresh veg, excellent staff too.

Caves Bar and Grill ( Function Hall): what do users think?
Sharon Kinsella: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Trudi Joyce: Excellent Food and Service
Nikki Garland: Hired a room for baby shower , clean and spacious , friendly staff , deposit was paid back promptlyToilets needs attention though.Toilet door would not lock and generally just needs some maintenanceI would hire this room again though 🤗
Lauren Wilkinson: Sooo... Where do I start 🤣What a disgrace this 'bar & grill actually is!So everything was going great, I booked the room for 60-70 people for my daughter's 4th birthday meal, £150 deposit! Husband paid cash... took it... great! And then the joke began! Arrived... room was already decorated with the number 4 ( same as my daughter's?) what's going on? Approached by a chef who couldn't speak English, couldn't understand him other than don't worry your ok 🙈 they tried n tried to contact who had come, told us no deposit was paid from them so it was our room. Turns out the other party paid the same deposit before us and was just as innocent as us.With their party being just as important as ours I made the decision to look at other options on the same site (although none really suitable) due to my numbers of guests. and let the other party have the room as they had set the room up beautifully before us and was as genuine as us.We then went on after many tears and arguments as decent people and decided to offer the business the opportunity to keep both bookings and keep us but asked a £100 compensation on top of our £150 deposit paid for the fact we had to be cramped into a room that was suitable for maximum of 30 people and left my daughter at home for nearly 2 hours waiting to turn up to her own party!!!!!!!We then carried on through the tiniest of rooms possible, with awful waitress service, no updates and only English speaking staff to help us but to top it off all the food had been ordered to accommodate 1-6year olds and took over a hour minimum to come out 😡 after all the this time most my party left or gave up especially as their children was soo hungry. At the end of it all no management was then visible, I was due money back but no one to get it off. I was then told I had to clean all the room including the floor (which I know is normal but not when not advised or not in these circumstances) so I did this to be given the money I agreed. They should also offer compassion to the other party, who also endured stress with the whole 2 hours prior to guest arriving. The place should be shut down!!! not based on my review but POOR FOOD, POOR MANAGEMENT, POOR COMMUNICATION, FAILURE TO ADHERE TO ANY CUSTOMER SATISFACTION OR COMMUNICATIONAll the place is good for is going to smoke a splif 🤣👍👋🙄One high note! There was one girl that worked there... local girl, short hair and tattoos (missed her name) that restored my faith as little as she could do she delivered great service and shouldn't be working for money grabbing @#@#ards like them!
Stephen Thompson: Absolutely ruined my granddaughters 4th birthday celebrations on arrival we found that the room add been doubled booked, my daughter then agreed to take the smaller room after agreeing a compensation deal, then some of our party where waiting up to two hours for their food, couldn't fault the staff just bad management, food was okNever again
captain wockhard: Great service here I would say the bar selection could do with updating but overall a decent little place hidden awayFood: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Sandro: Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
minesh rana: Nice food and very good customer services. The best grill I have ever had would fully recommendFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Simon Morris: Fantastic service and great food. Really lovely people every time we go, cannot fault them. Thank you.
Balram Narad: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Jess Wilson: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Liam Kefford: Cold, dark and expensive
Kevin Webb: Decent sized room thats in good condition and kept clean.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
LA Whiting: Visited for the first time this lunchtime after a long dog walk on the adjacent Wrens Nest nature reserve. Dogs are allowed in the bar so we settled in for a drink and some food. Very clean and tidy and great menu, mostly Indian but some English dishes too. I chose the chicken tikka wrap which arrived promptly and was absolutely packed full with lovely pieces of spicy chicken and salad. My husband's fish pakora wrap was equally as generous. The keema naan we had ordered to share was so nice that we wished we had ordered one each. Prices are very reasonable and with a promotion on draught beer the bill was around £20. Both of the staff we met were super friendly and helpful and checked with us that our meal was ok. We will definitely be returning .
Jack Yarranton: Wicked service lovely staff very good management looked after me and my friends for drinks will be 100% coming back for drinks and food
Hira Shova Shrestha: Nice place to hang out with friends and family and also environment and place so good to freshen upKid-friendliness: Larger space to child to playKids menuParking: parking space more than 50/60Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is
Joanna Gennard: Good place for food and drink
Ethan Sampson: Booked the small room for a party. When their they let us use the bigger room at no extra cost as it was free anyway.Food was nice and reasonably priced and lots of different drinks available. If you want a cocktail they can make one even though it's not on the menu. They also had an outside area for smokingKid-friendliness: Lots of £1 machines for kids and 4 options for foodParking: Lots of parking spots and 1 or 2 disabled spots
Conrad Sampson: I celebrated my 18th birthday in the function room here with roughly 20 people. The room itself was very nice for a function room, with a bar and plenty of seating space. The food was delicious and hot, with lots of selection, mainly Indian style food with a few traditional pub food options. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and professional, the service was fast and we were free to use the function room how we liked as long as we left it how we found it.I would highly recommend you come to Dudley Bar and Grill for the function room and service, and I'll definitely be returning here myself.Kid-friendliness: Event hall is very kid friendlyParking: Has plenty of parking spots for eventsWheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible
Tee Massy: Frie8staff, good food
philip hickman: Had some food, tasted great. Deffo come back again

liam smith: Decent pub
Abigail Taylor: wont be going back there again! The attitude on the tall girl is disgusting, walked past my daughter and took a bar mat straight off her she was just standing there if she was doing something wrong I’d understand but snatching it off her is vile and just because you say “thank you” snotty while walking off doesn’t make it okay when I then told her nicely if she was doing something wrong I’d rather her ask me or her dad to get it but she then started talking to me horrible! She was clearly annoyed as some customers was getting abit to much which I can understand but don’t take it out on other customers! Was actually a really good night with good music nice people untill one staff has to wreck it

des walker: Wot can I say my favourite pub in DudleyGreat selection ove reel ales
Elaine Westwood: Nice and relaxing good service
Chester: Excellent pub loads of ales
Marc Wilson: Proper old bòozer .. with a selection of rolls behind the bar to soak up your beer .Hold a selection of guest beers & ciders .2023 It's a thumbs down 👎 now .. been in twice since Dec 2022 on a Friday and a Saturday night . It's been empty with no atmosphere 😕... prices have really gone up which would be OK if the environment was OK but felt like we was the people paying the staffs wages .. little things like NO ice ?? & the place is empty so they've not had a heat wave in January.. fancied a packet of nuts with beer ... ooh & they've run out .. staff must have been so bored they're collecting the glasses just as you've put them down .. after 2 boring visits think we won't be going again .. shame when you just wanted a classic pub with some atmosphere.. maybe it's empty for a reason..
d2vans _: A proper lovely pub. Staff super friendly. Cheers
David Swingler: What a superb pub. Beautiful stout and porter. Highly recommended.

Gene Hunt: I love this pub. New staff and always a 1st class selection of ales and ciders. Without a doubt the best pub in the area.
Martin Weaver: Always pop into this excellent hostelry when I'm in Dudley for the Winter Ales Fayre. Usually have a large selection of real ales on tap and space for my friends and I to sit down for a chat.
Jonathan Evans: To dear but ok
Paul Fletcher: Brilliant pub, friendly staff, excellent choice of drinks
Alan Davies: Nice pub good choice of beers
Tanya Elmquist Rees: We were soaked to the skin and fed up of the rain, so went for a drink in The Court House. I had a lovely glass of red wine and Dusty had a glass of local stout. The fire was then lit and we went and sat near it to dry out. We were going to go for a curry next door but unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we had to find somewhere else to eat. If the curry house had been open, the plan was to go back to the pub for another drink before the concert. Alas we didn't make it back to the pub as the weather was so bad and we stayed where we were.
Mark manic Martin: Always great, Always a good pint.
D D: This pleasant and friendly Black Country Ales pub offers a good selection of ales and ciders.
Andrew Hughes: Nice beer, good service very friendly pub.
Michael Slater: Excellent pub
Rob graham: Always a joy to visit the Courthouse when I'm in Dudley.
Keith Bracey: Great big Black Country Ales (owned by my old mate from Dixonians Rugby 🏉 Club Angus McMeeking) pub in Dudley town centre with good real ales and ciders and no food other than cobs and growlers (pork pies) no Sky Sports and a well patronised quiz going on when we visited. We were in a large upstairs room for a Black Country ⚫️ Society talk 👄 and the pub seems to have a thriving community feel to it

Saracen's Head: what do users think?
aidyaids: Very lively Saturday, the service was still fast considering there was a few at the bar atmosphere was great and the DJ had some good songs on
paul ferraby: Great atmosphere. Friendly staff
Liam King: Can't knock the pub at all! Only downside was my wife dropped me off and our toddler needed to use the restroom but as the pub has a no child policy they refused to allow her to use the facilities. A bit dissapointing considering there was no intention of them staying in the pub, but felt they could. Of accommodated a 3 year old needing the toilet
Chris Knight: Afternoons are the best time to visit ,a typical town center pub , my daughter goes on a evening and enjoys the karaoke
Nigel Hill: Traditional pub with good beer wines and a cracking karaoke
Tracy Cox: Friendly atmosphere
maggie williams: Great for a night out cheap drinks and lots of choice and karaoke night Fri and Saturday
Candy Weston: Lovely atmosphere
katy evans: Sat down to check if a football game was on and apparently the manager come over and shouted at us if we were not buying a drink and just coming in ‘for a warm ‘ to get out . Was gobsmacked , extremely rude and uncalled for
Peeturh JAckson: Great space, warm friendly and welcoming
des walker: Great place nice to hear the blackcountryAccent still spokeCheap beer cor be bad Great selection of beers
Andy Harlow: Kicked me out for being too drunk. My own fault. Good bar staff, karaoke was great and door staff were gentle with me lol. Good pub 👍
Luke Taylor: Probably the cheapest pint in Dudley if not further afield. The fosters is £2.40 and considering most places are putting their prices up this is an absolute steal! Cheers.
david homer: Nice place friendly staff excellent service
john hopson: Brilliant pub. Great music and karaoke. Good atmosphere. Good prices.
liam smith: Not been here since the refurbishment, been in before hand and enjoyed it here! Decent space and music was on really like this place shame I don’t live in the area anymore as I’d love to go more often, place always seems clean to a good standard, always a good selection of beer/ales to choose from as well. Recommend going in and checking the place out for yourselves! 👍👍
Gary Parkes: Brill day out
Jonathan Evans: Good
Ivor Taylor: Great pub .
Steve Williams: Great pub ideal location in the centre of town next to the Town gallery venue
Matthew Crumpton: Good laugh, cheap beer!
