The Coach House: what do users think?

Vicki Litster: A wonderful home away from home for a solo-female traveller. The ladies were welcoming and friendly. The decor was fabulous! The location was ideal and the breakfast was delicious! I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Graham Johnson: Very comfortable hotel, well run, and with a lovely personal service.Decoration and quality of bathroom fittings excellent. The cooked to order breakfast was just delicious.Rooms: Good quality bed linen and very clean. Decor excellent. Bathroom had clearly been recently renovated to a high standard with high class fittings

Rob Reddick: and very nicely decorated, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.Breakfast was hearty, which was great ahead of the busy days we had ahead of us

Mariam Al mansoori: Excellent service and Zoi is very welcoming with her smile face and the another ladyReally cosy hotel with nice people that you feel home

Annie Mcnamara: We stay about three times a year, and they are so friendly helpful, always around if you need anything. Food is very good, beds are so lovely and comfy we have stayed in four of there rooms, and they are to die for specially the one with the bath. We are going back next February.Rooms: Rooms are very spacious, and has everything you need,.Walkability: Walk to town, Darley ParkFood & drinks: Breakfast to die for, excellent choice, the brownies are so yummy. When the troff is open food is very good.

Erica Smith: We attended one of the supper clubs with Cherry & Pickles Catering. Not only was the food outstanding, the service was too. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We loved the modern decor with a few quirky twists and can really see the attention to detail. Zoe and team are an asset to The Coach House, we'll definitely be coming back again.

Jenny Novy: My stay was wonderful!!Cannot recommend enough. Warm, kind and friendly service. Room was nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, warm and comfy bed. Had a desk that I could work on. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Complimentary brownie was lovely. Veggie breakfast was delicious, I was staying as I had an early morning exam at the university and live some distance away, kindly accommodated a slightly earlier breakfast for me. It was a 5 minute drive to derby university. Planning to come back to stay for leisure in future. Thank you.

Peter Regan: Our stay at the Coach House was lovely. The room was fantastic - cozy and warm on a couple of cold, wintery nights. The location is good and fairly central - no car necessary if one likes to walk. And, the manager was warm and friendly. We highly recommend the Coach House for a stay Derby.Rooms: Very comfortable

Lee Verity: Stayed at the Coach House for a recent work trip. Amanda and Zoe were great hosts and the complementary brownies were delicious!Rooms: Spacious and cosy.Food & drinks: Delicious breakfast

Kelly Yates: Such a lovely place to stay. The decor was beautiful, a relaxing atmosphere. Zoe was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was spot on. Our room was in the old stables and perfect. I would definitely recommend a stay the coach house. We will definitely visit again.Food & drinks: The brownies tasted so good, I would definitely recommend to try these.

Rick Sarko: 10/10 Top place. Was down in Derby for boxing day and the Coach house was super close to where I was visiting. The whole place is amazing and has real character. The room I was in was huge and beautifully decorated. I even had my own little garden and pond. Shower was the best one Ive had in years as well. Loads of options for breakfast. I went for the scrambled eggs on toast and it was amazing. Was great speaking to Rob after my breakfast about the building and the history. Top guy. Had only booked it really as a bed to sleep in but the place over exceeded my expectations and would 100% visit again. Thanks all at The Coach House.

Sally McMillan: before heading home as that’s just 3 mins walk away from The Coach House too. Will definitely return

Steph Attfield: We had a really lovely stay at the Coach House. Zoe was absolutely fantastic during pre-arrival communication and dealing with many last minute requests from me.Breakfast was also delicious! Thank you to all and can’t recommend this b&b any more highly.

D W: We were looking for a small, stylish, intimate wedding venue and came across The Coach House, as it was local to us we popped round to have view it and honestly, we didn't have to look further. This venue gave us the exact feeling we wanted, the styling of the rooms wowed us and Zoe could not have been more helpful with absolutely every request we had. I was slightly nervous about requesting a vegan wedding but she catered for our every need in the run up and made our day run perfectly. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety, we had so many compliments, Zoe even made us a few tasters before hand to help us decide. I cannot recommend this place enough for allowing us to create exactly what we asked for and also helping us with other contacts we also used for our big day. Thanks to the all the team at the coach house, and in particular Zoe who made us feel completely at ease with what can be quite an overwhelming day to plan.

Pentahotel Derby: what do users think?

Julian B.: Great hotel and good value for money. The breakfast offers an extraordinary variety in that category of hotel. In order to be greener, the hotel offers on-demand cleaning. You need to put a sign outside your room the evening before. The interior has seen a few seasons, but all in all it is in a good condition, tidy and clean. One of my favourite hotels when I stay in Derby.Food & drinks: Some nice restaurants are within 3 minutes walk of the hotel.

NO MONEY KICKS rkj: Went to a gig last night in Derby arena, made sense to stay overnight local .We chose pentahotel,A great move.Well priced, great staff, clean room, great free WiFi and a fantastic bar and restaurant. If your thinking of booking, just do it It's great value for money.Breakfast was brilliant 👏 thanks pentahotel for a great stay.Rooms: Really clean room, great WiFi.Food & drinks: Fantastic restaurant, great breakfast

Jayson Copeland - Carr: Good parking.Rooms: Everything you need.Noteworthy details: Great parking.

Iain Shipley: Pleasant two night stay at the Pentahotel for a business trip. Close to the train station, so was convenient for me.Attentive staff that were always happy to help.Bar and restaurant area was comfortable with cool music playing that was not too loud.Food & drinks: Evening meals were fairly ordinary. Spaghetti bolognaise sauce was made with cheap mince. The soup probably came out of the tin. No so poor that it deserved a lower rating though. However, the breakfast selection was excellent either buffet style hot food, fresh croissants and more.

molly cairns: Late check out on Sunday is brilliant, I would stay again for that alone.Bed was super comfy also. Really nice hotel and atmosphere.Rooms: Great room, comfortable, clean and quiet.Walkability: I walked to town which took 30 minutes to get to the center and it was a nice walk along the water

peter greaves: Good breakfast that you can get when you book the room.Rooms are ok but nothing special.Hotel is well located a couple of minutes walking from the train station.Food & drinks: Good choice of breakfast options.

Charlotte Tindle: I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We were greeted at the door by a lovely receptionist and checked in quickly. Rooms were lovely, bathrooms were a little tight but not awful, I liked that there was a nice shampoo and shower gel in there which you don’t always get in cheaper places. We went to a party and came back late and were able to get a drink and play some pool. Decor is really funky!

The only problem was the air con and heating wasn't working but a fan and heater were supplied.the room was very comfortable good size and very quietRooms: Good size and quiteWalkability: Hotel right in middle of town great access

Ian Ward: Right next to the main shopping area but lovely river walks. Cathedral and other attractions within East reach.Rooms: Clean rooms. Great showers.Nearby activities: There are loads of things to do and eateries nearby.

Arjun Banerji: I love this hotel so much, the staff are super friendly and they’re always so welcoming to me even though they see me basically every week 🤣The food menu could be improved with healthier sides like salad because I always feel so fat after eating the generous portion of chips.I love the rooms they’re so comfortable and the location is SUPER close to the bus station which is ideal for exploring the midlands 😎Nearby activities: Derbion shopping centre, derby town centre, pubs, bus station

Premier Inn Derby City Centre (Cathedral Quarter) hotel: what do users think?

Mark Thomas: I stay here regularly and the location of the hotel for Derby City Centre is fantastic. Kayleigh, Steph,Callum and the whole team go above and beyond to do anything to make your stay perfect. It’s central to where I need to be for work and is always clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are great value and Mark in the morning is so welcoming and helpful. If you need to stay in Derby for work or pleasure then this is the only place I would stay.Rooms: Rooms are clean and comfortable, the air conditioned / heated rooms are great so you can have it as you like it.Noteworthy details: The staff are all amazing.

WedlocK: First of all the staff are very friendly. There is a multistorey car park across rhe Road which is handy, however the condition of the car park is questionable. The room was clean and a good size. Food in the evening was good, however the service could of been a little quicker. Breakfast was decent and lots to choose from. The meal deal for £24.99 is affordable and definitely worth it. You also get free WIFI which is handy. Overall a good stay.

Georgia Wood: Stayed for a week at this hotel and had a lovely experience. All the staff were very welcoming and attentive within every area, my room was clean and spacious with all the amenities I required. Food was excellent, great value for money especially if you booked a meal deal with your stay. The chef is absolutely wonderful and even came out to ask how my food was! They are very mindful of allergies, and made sure the risk of cross contamination, etc, was as minimal as possible. The hotel also has a multi-storey car park directly opposite, and is very close to the city centre. There is also multiple bus routes nearby. However, the area and hotel is still quiet despite a central location.Would definitely recommend this hotel!Walkability: Derbion is around a 10 minute walk, the university of Derby is around 25-30 minute walk.

Z oe: Dropped in for Breakfast only. Hot food was nice and hot, fresh croissants, good eggs and coffee. Everything clean and tidy, loved the labels! The staff are freindly and available when needed. Peaceful environment and pleasant decor. Will be back

The Stay Company, Friar Gate: what do users think?

WS Kim: It is built as a quiet residential complex. The interior facilities are fully equipped, clean and comfortable. There are various shops and convenience facilities nearby, and it is nice to have Markeyton Park nearby, and downtown Derby can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot.

Andy Stokes: Great accommodation and nice views. Close to son's uni accommodation too. Definitely plan to use again.

Santhosh Vivekananda: Good service apartment to stay

Erik Seidel: Lovely rooms, good service.

imed limaiem: Good

Ed Davies: Great apartments for young families and excellent location to explore Derby and it's lovely surrounding countryside.

Tom Pykett: Great self contained apartments with central location. Secure car park at rear. My apartment had a little balcony as well which was good for breakfast in the morning. Recommend to everyone

Becky Roberts: Stayed here for a month and cannot rave about this place enough! Everything was lovely. The staff are very welcoming and makes such a difference that they have an on site reception. Received a welcome card in my apartment on check in which had been closed with their wax seal - I so loved that! House keeping went above and beyond. Only 5 minute walk to Derby's best restaurants and a very good craft beer pub across the road. By the end of my stay I was sad to leave. It really felt like home.

Andrea Cliff: Absolutely fantastic apartments very clean and bright. Comfortable beds, towels and little extras included. Kitchens have everything you need. Staff very helpful nothing too much trouble. Lots of parking. Sainsbury's 2 min walk away with ATM. Very near the centre and shopping centre. Can't praise it enough.

Jamie Palliser: . Somewhat understaffed I think as they're was nobody to check in when I arrived about 7pm - neither machine was working so had to wait a while for someone to help me and the queue. Then at breakfast there was just one guy having to run around sorting tables and also getting people signed in etc.Overall room was good - a bit warm but otherwise clean and well layed out, shower was a bit of a dribble and leaked from the hose, but managed a quick shower nonetheless.Breakfast ok, what you'd expect from a PI buffet, better range than some hotels.Overall a reasonable stay while here for one night for work.

rachael morphus: Stayed in this hotel many times for girls nights out and last night's stay was as good as ever. Very clean rooms and amazing beds. Excellent welcome from a lady called Pat who went above and beyond her duties. She had great customer service and even remembered us the following day although the hotel was full. A big thank you to Kim for our early check in room. Great goal and fantastic staff. Will be back soon 😉Rooms: Very clean and comfortable room. Lots of space in bathroom.Walkability: A stones throw from the main shopping centre, bars and river walks.Noteworthy details: Discounted parking at the carpark next door £8 instead of £14.90 for overnight #bargin. Late room check out of 12 noon also a plus.

Neill Millward: Friendly staff, very welcoming. Comfortable cosy room. Nice and quiet close to the bus station and shopping centre. Fantastic breakfast served with a smileRooms: Comfortable and clean

Richard Ward: I can only comment on this place, having used the bar and not stayed overnight. The bar is effectively a pub, which has a selection of ales and lagers, including some of their own brews. The beers I have tried are well-kept. Additionally, the prices are pub prices, not inflated hotel prices.Located on the outskirts of Derby town centre, the venue is easy to get to. There is parking on the grounds.

Robert Lukasiak: .I really recommend. It's a pity you can only give 5 stars.Karen and Simon we miss you already

Janice Roworth: Lovely afternoon with friends

John Barnes: Beautiful Georgian building with oak-panelled rooms filled with antique furniture, paintings and ornaments make it a really charming and interesting place to stay. Rooms are simple but comfortable and great value. Breakfast is fantastic. We ate in the bar and the food was good. BIG portions. Great location. Highly recommended for a short stay in Derby especially for the University. What really made a difference was the freindliness of the staff. Would definitely stay againRooms: Small, simple but comforatable and good valueFood & drinks: Good bar food and fantastic breakfast
