The European Restaurant: what do users think?

Patrick Fitzgerald: We were in Derby for the weekend and this restaurant was recommended to us by the receptionist at our hotel. The dining room just oozed of character and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were most friendly and the food was just perfect.

Mark Byrne: In the U.K. we have thousands of “Italian” restaurants that aren’t really Italian. This place, however, is a REAL Italian place. Owned by Italians and with food cooked by Italians. Everything is authentic, and made just like they would be in the country. The gnocchi and parmigiana were outstanding. I’ll 100% be coming back to this place again and again!Parking: Spots available on the street next to the restaurant.

Karl-Heinz Witke: Friendly service, excellent Steak with an outstanding Sauce, the sides only normal standard! In any case to recommend.

Terry Archer: The wife and I spent the evening here. The service was fantastic the food was superb and the price was very reasonable. The restaurant itself is a lovely old building a little quirky but very intimate almost romantic. To find this place in the centre of Derby is a great find. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and meal.

Josef Švec: Phenomenal food, the steak sauce was an existential experience !!! The space is small in a very cozy way. The price is on the high side but the quality you're getting for it is absolutely worth it. Amongst the best food I've had in my life, the chef himself talked to us briefly cuz it was end of the night, lovely experience, best birthday ever!!!

Laura King: Food was incredible - and service was very good!

T Major: Amazing food, can't believe its taken me this long to find this absolute gem! Will definitely be going again

Emily's Steakhouse: what do users think?

Lisa B: The best steak and chips we have had for a long long time. Perfectly cooked steak, and chips as good as my Nana used to do. Onion rings in the most tasty and light batter imaginable.Service was attentive but not intrusive, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Will be returning .

Ross Harris: Will visit again in the future

Carl Gayle: steak. I was not able to finish the steak, despite my best efforts so the waitress kindly wrapped it to go. The steak was well cooked and the chips crispy on the outside and fluffy inside - perfect!Emily was helpful with some recommendations for which cut of steak to choose and also told us a bit about the history of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Friendly for kids. A young boy was celebrating his birthday when we were there. The staff brought out a piece of cake with a candle for him.

ginny wu: Went for my birthday dinner with my daughter. What a great steak! I ordered rib eye steak with house red wine, my daughter had sirloin. We enjoyed our dinner, it is the best steak we have had in Derby. We definitely will come back again. Thanks for the great evening, Emily!

MoonSha Japanese Bar and Restaurant: what do users think?

Jessica Davies-Colclough: As usual I came back to this place. The staff are amazing food is awesome and portions are big so you will never leave hungry.I absolutely adore this restaurant

Sydney Cottrell: This was absolutely amazing. Me and two friends decided to go because it sounded good and had reasonable prices on the website but I’m pretty sure all three of us had a religious experience while eating the food here. The sushi was the best I’ve ever had, the ramen was delicious, and the food was brought out by a robot with a cat face and music!!! We loved it so much and will absolutely be coming here again

The Kitchen: what do users think?

Tayyaba Iqbal: One word in a nutshell perfection, I’m embarrassed to say I’ve ever walked through the door of a pizza express as these guys pizza are amazing, their wood fired pizza are next level and flat white is exceptional quality and price is amazing. Was very happy to that I could see my flat white being made from my table too and that the staff are relax and polite and very friendly, especially the man in the red suit.Autism/on the spectrum friendly too, if you like live music and they’re very helpful if you have any questions too.

xavierdoc: My friends and I randomly chose this cafe for a late Sunday breakfast after a big Saturday night visiting Derby. What a lucky choice! The Sadlergate location is charming, with easy parking in nearby Parksafe at Bold Lane.We loved the warm welcome from the stylishly be-suited proprietor, the good service, excellent coffee, tasty food and mellow live music!Games and books interspersed among the imaginative decor. Good veggie options, too.Really rounded off the weekend on an unexpected high. Thank you so much!Highly recommended and worth a short walk or drive from the soulless Derbyion Mall!Vegetarian options: We had Full veggie breskfast and crushed avocado with egg on toast.Parking: Nearby parking- several options.Kid-friendliness: Games and live music!

FC G: A cosy place on Sadler Gate, great for some yummy grub, live music or a drink outside to watch the world go by. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed, especially the two owners who really do create a wonderful atmosphere
