Herbert Art Gallery & Museum: what do users think?

Duong: Kudos to the very friendly receptionist lady, who was super welcoming and helpful. The place is not very big for a museum, but contains tremendously many good stuff and tells lots of interesting stories about the history of Coventry and its people. I spent two hours there and could barely finish touring the ground floor. Definitely will come back for the art gallery.

Aimee Goodall: One of the best live music venues in the city

Alastair Smith: Great secret film club event last night! The format of not knowing what the film is really helps you widen your experience. Russell Pickard: I was VERY surprised to find SO much information in such a small place. The volunteers who run the place were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.I highly recommend taking a look in here when visiting all the old buildings in Spon Street.

David Dobell: What a great source of information for those with interest in the subject, the volunteers were both very helpful and knowledgeable, furthermore we were able to gain some information concerning ancestors.

Anne McCarthy: It is a very interesting place, historical and informative, 100% recommended!

Upasaka Aruna: Definitely a hidden gem in town. Shouldn't miss it if you are coming here. It has a fine collection of antique watches and clocks. Volunteers are knowledgeable and helpful. Don't miss the replica of the Congreve clock. You can spend all day to see it work.

Mary Butler: Very informative museum, our family enjoyed spending the weekend there, thanks to everyone who works there.

John Heninghem: An excellent museum run by volunteers. Lots to see in these old cottages which are in themselves, living history. The once extensive Coventry watch trade is shown with all sorts of time pieces and tools. It provides a great insight into a past industry that once employed a vast workforce making gears, cases and dials before being final assembly.

Jim Boyle: Not the usual museum, three old cottages + secure shed for valuables. Unpolished presentation but all the more interesting for that. Enthusiastic staff.

Don: Very good

Sarah Nicholson: Lovely little museum with knowledgeable volunteers and lots to see!

Susan Rogers: Very interesting and informative great look into the past. Volunteers were very knowledgeable. Thouroghly enjoyed visit. Recommend to anyone intetested in history of Covemtry more than just watches. Visit is a must.
