Powerleague Coventry: what do users think?

Dan P: A decent set up with 8 artificial, small sided, pitches. The bar area is handy and sells drinks and food. As a tournament was on the car park was full, the arrows pointing to an ‘overflow car park’ led to a locked gate. Overall, a good facility.

Ryan Lucas: Great place 👍

sesun park: Coach was very kind.

Shah Ali: Very nice pitches. Staff are welcoming. Good parking lot. Catered for our tournament

Sam Demarco: We booked a party package. My son loved his party. From start to finish the venue took care of it all. There wasn't anything for me to do apart from bring a cake. They even brought the cake out and cut it up for us. Highly recommend powerleague for children’s parties.

Ahmed Jabbar: Recently played a tournament here. The pitches were good, well maintained and clean. We played in the morning so I can't comment on the lighting for games after dark. There's plenty of seating in the function room and the toilets are clean. I did see a gym there and an indoor activity area but didn't look with detail so again no comment on that. Parking was plentiful and staff were freindly. I would gladly recommend to anyone wanting to play 5/7 a side football.

Lisa Smallwood: I recently had my sons 7th Birthday here and I would highly recommend.Everyone was so helpful and friendly. All the children had a wonderful fun time and everything was sorted through power league so it made everything so much easier. Will 100% be coming back.

Sean Daly: We used this venue to hold a 5 a side event for charity. The venue is superbly run by a team of the most helpful people you could meet. They even contributed a couple of prizes for our raffle which was a terrific gesture. With the Manager and his team organising the football for us we were able to concentrate on the other activities needed. A terrific venue, wonderful people and very reasonably priced I highly recommend it.

oh4ďr6Htollie Mower: My boys have done a few football camps here and loved their days every time, the team do a great job

Scott Martin: Decent 4g pitches at reasonable price.

Daniel Fleming: We had our son's 8th birthday here and it was great. The staff onsite were fantastic and even refunded a couple of places we had paid for but didn't use due to the invited kids being unwell. The kids had a great time and the "party coach" had the kids playing some fun games and everyone had a great time. He kept the teams fair and made sure the kids were playing fairly which was nice to see.As a parent it was stress free as it was easy to add additional people in the days prior and nothing was too much trouble to the staff. My son had a fantastic time and I don't think it could have been better.

nic james: Great boxing show put on at the skydive headline Bradley Goldsmith Covenyry boxer could go a long way in the game

Anthony Bosworth: This was the first place i ever learnt how to skate. I was never really good at skating until i did roller skating but this ice rink has always had a heart for me.The staff are friendly, there is a papa Johns in the facility in case you are hungry and need extra energy and overall a nice rink until it needs to be Re-iced.The only reason I give this 4 stars is due to the speakers in the stadium. They are not the best and sometimes they don’t even play music while you skate. In addition when i tried to get into skating the rentals here did suck and I never had hope in them which lead to buying my own hockey skates.Overall, if you want to get into ice skating, it’s a good place to start. 😊Update: This place has came a second home now. I try and skate at least 2/3 times a month because i am a very busy guy. However, a lot of improvements and fails have been made on this ice.

Lake View Park: what do users think?

Jason Wilkinson: Lovely park, but spoilt by sporadic antisocial behaviour, and dog poo bags left on the path or thrown into bushes.Dog-friendliness: Great place for dogs to run free, however need to be mindful of broken glass and waste food.

Pete Duckworth: Lovely open space within the city where the River Sherborne gets to ramble a little.

Paul Darke: Dog-friendliness: Regular walking area for dogs on and off lead

Ergun Sahillioglu: Love the huge Eastern Cottonwood tree, native to America, Europe and some parts of Asia. One of the fastest growing hardwood trees. Ideally planted next to a stream and can go up to 30 metres tall. Respect!Dog-friendliness: Plenty of responsible dog owners, ideal park for a nervous pooch.

JJ Overton, Author: Lakeview Park is a lovely place to go for a relaxing walk. At the far end, away from the bustle of the roads you will find Lakeview Nature Reserve. If you head over there you will experience a walk through quiet woodland that holds some surprises. Old fences and broken down gates where you may glimpse the remains of sheds that used to hold garden tools, and old allotment plots where families spent happy hours together. If you walk through Lakeview Park and Nature Reserve at the right time of year there will be trees laden with fruit. You will also come across a tributary of the River Sherbourne, known centuries ago in Anglo-Saxon times as the Scire Burna, the Clear Stream. Go on give this interesting place a walk!

Ron Geraghty: Dog-friendliness: Most dog owners are respectful of others in this park.

Sam Lamb: Good place for walking

Julia Waller: Large open green space with the River Sherbourne running through it. It is currently undergoing improvement as an area to encourage more wildlife. There's no hard paths around it and it can get a bit muddy underfoot so wear some decent shoes or wellies. Heard an owl on our recent visit and spotted bats feeding once it got dark. It's shielded reasonably from streetlights due to the trees so you can also do a bit of stargazing. There's no dedicated car park so you park on one of the surrounding roads if you come by car.Playground: No playgroundRestrooms: No toilet facilities.Dog-friendliness: Large open area with easy access. No dog waste bins. Some sides of the Park do have adjacent busy roads.

abetterangle: We opened a new viewing platform at Brandon Marsh in memory of my m8 Carl Lewis who passed away with pancreatic cancer four years ago this February at the age of 38. Angie Archer, His mum, has tirelessly raised enough funds to have this platform built in his memory.Carl was a brilliant musician, teaching all over the midlands. But above all he loved the outdoors! If he could climb a mountain, he would! A real mountain goat! Give him a hole in the ground… he was down it like a rabbit to investigate any mine or cave! He’s taken many friends, including myself on all sorts of adventures we wouldn’t have done if he hadn’t have been around! So full of life fun and humour!!Amongst all these interests was photography! He loved his camera! He loved wildlife photography and Brandon Marsh was his home! Taking friends on late night adventures photographing nature in her own garden! Which is why it’s fitting to have this lookout built here in his memory. His mum has built a charity called The Carl Lewis Foundation, raising money for cancer patients, projects and anything to help people with cancer in and around Coventry. This woman and team are legends in their work helping people living and dying with cancer here at home! This IS all happening in Coventry! Please give this charity some love and help them help our loved ones. And please go and use this new viewing platform at Brandon Marsh.. that’s what it’s there for….

Bonnie Leach: We went on a cold friday in March and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Family aged between 6 and 67 and all had a good time. There were very few people that day but the staff were more than happy to still do the rides, falconry display and reptile handling etc even though we were sometimes the only people. The staff were so good, interacting so well with everyone. We had packed lunch so cant comment on the food.

Bernie Martin: There was more to do here than I had expected. We had a fun filled day. The falconry display was educational and brilliant. The lady in charge kept everyone's attention on a cold, windy day and answered every question asked.Exceptional value for money in the cafe - the muffins were great. And there were lots of staff on hand to help out.

Maxin John: Good placeVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Old Account: Very scenic park. Great playground for kids. The view of the water is beautiful. Saw the sunset here. No dogs allowed except guide dogs which is a great rule for people who have kids. One of the cleanest outdoor places in Coventry. Has designated picnic benches. You can see the birds up close. There’s a little mini bridge to go around aswell. Lots of nice nature here

Mark Hubbard (Coalville NiteWalker): Nice walk around the reservoir, although part of it was closed when we visited, so we had to go back on ourselves.Nice cafe on site too.

Anil Matharu: Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes

Happy “Lindy” Camper: Lovely place with a nice cafe and the option to sign up for sailing. Great walk around the water but dogs are not allowed. There is a park for the little ones which is well-kept and has an ice cream kiosk. Toilets on site.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Demmi Francis: Lovely place to walk, nice reservoir however not very well sign posted that the path is closed due to ongoing building walk which is 4.5 ish miles round it. It was very infuriating that we had to go in to wooded areas; climb over various barbed wire fences, and through farmers fields to save us walking back the 4.5 miles we had just done. The walk itself is supposed to be 5 miles but we probably did about 7 in the end. There were lots of others which made the same mistake as us however, chose to walk the 4.5 miles back.

Jeff Matthews: Loved it, plenty of parking but everyone has to pay including blue badge holders. There is a takeaways cafe and a restaurant. These are on the second floor. They have a balcony with great views over the waters. Very helpful friendly staff food and drinks good quality and not too expensive. The walk along the waters is vechile free so kids can take their bikes.

Brad Kincaid: Best place around for many miles to go for a walk, ride a bike, watch nature at its finest, see great sunsets and see many happy fishermen!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …
