The Company Shed: what do users think?

Ninja Tuna: Walk in but we're seated in 5mins, February so not during the summer peak. Booking advised. Don't expect restaurant comfort, you go here to eat the freshest fish expertly prepared. Bring own bread and drink. Take away also if preferred. Seafood platter, with grilled oyster, Tuna burger, fish cakes and fish goujons. All delicious, friendly service, dressed crab my favourite, will return for the mersea oysters. 💯 recommend, will return. Thanks to all for a fantastic treat ❤️Kid-friendliness: Friendly and welcoming.

West Mersea Oyster Bar: what do users think?

Alex Cass: Recommended dishes Seafood Platters, Rock Oysters

吴赟: Very nice restaurant! Excellent food and view of seashore, sunset! The oyster is very fresh. It's my first time eating fresh oyster without any cooking. Never thought such fantastic tastes. The other seafoods are also very good. We arrived slightly late near closing, so we didn't book a table, just sit and order. I guess it might need a pre-book for popular hours. The only thing is that the car park is very small, for less than 10 cars. So if you are driving to the restaurant, make sure to find a place to park. We also take a walk after that. The sunset is so beautiful ! Best seafood experience ever !Parking: Limited parking space in car park.

rbb: for our orders and it wasn't that busy. The seafood platter is still worth the trip every now and then. The parking can be a bit 'tight' as it is a very popular restaurant.Parking: It was tight to get out and asked an older gentleman to move his car and he got stroppy! 🙄

Ondi Arisera Tongchaitanawutti: . Love the atmosphere being right next to the water. Once you bag yourself a table, you go inside to order and help yourself to cutlery etc. The food was fantastic, lovely fresh oysters and prawns, decent fish and chips. However the food took ages to come out - no wonder the wait for a table is so long!

The Coast Inn: what do users think?

Philip Joslin: I booked a table at the coast for 6 to7 people. Two people had to drop out and I rang the coast and they were most understanding. When we arrived we had a wonderful meal from the menu and the board. The fish chowder was wonderful and the main causes were a delight with portions very generous. The service was first class We will be returning and are looking forward to itWheelchair accessibility: My father was in a wheel chair and they made seating very easy.

Ninja Tuna: . Deserts were decadently delicious. Prices very reasonable for the quality, will return and would 💯 recommend. Well done and thanks to all at the Coast Inn ❤️Kid-friendliness: Made the kids feel very welcome.

Affe Moose: We had dinner here.Food was good, but not excellent. Seafood chowder was tasty but far too much cream- made it quite heavy.Gish n chips came offered as pan died or battered - I went battered and the batter was light and the fish well cooked - very good.Real ale was cloudy and not up to scratch- swapped 1 pint for something different and both were cloudy. Bar staff was mix of good and rude - different people.Menu overall - you need some vegetables guys. Not one vegetable dish offered as a sideOverall food was a decent quality but lacked imagination. All pretty beige.Nice setting

Koryu: what do users think?

Mark Jeggo: Updated for new venue. Having recently moved to the High Street in Colchester, the venue is a welcome upgrade to their previous location. I'm happy to report the service and food are still something to be revered.Love Koryu, the food here is divine. Highly recommended by my Japanese wife and friends!!

Agata Beczala: It’s been the fourth time I visited Koryu, first time at their new location in High Street, Colchester. Their food is always fresh, beautifully presented, portions are generous. Tried some of their appetisers, sushi, vegetarian and prawn carry, all were tasty, worth their price. I believe it’s an independent business and it feels like it’s run with real passion. Wish them best of luck!

Crystal Winter: Dined in the new restaurant, what can I say! The food was absolutely amazing, we had the salmon lover to share, dumplings, Tokyo fries, prawn uramaki and salmon uramaki.Really reasonably priced, and 20% off lunch time offer who coukd ask for more. The manager was friendly, welcoming he explained the atmosphere at night is amazing, we shall we returning.

Wayne Blizzard: Enjoyed.

Chris Cooper: including a large disabled / baby changing toilet

Louise Cook: This was our first experience of Japanese food, everything was so tasty and very good portions. We had a selection of traditional roll dishes as a sharing starter followed by a larger main meal. The black dragon was amazing, but its easier to say go there and try it for yourself. The choice of meal options is good including vegetarian dishes high on taste. When the staff realised it was my daughters birthday they brought her a happy birthday dessert.I cannot rate the food, service, atmosphere and facilities enough. The quality and flavours of the food were excellent, made with care and good presentation. We are defiantly going back soon, I need to try some more dishes. Persevere with the chopsticks, its good fun and part of the experience.
