Steph Oliver: Terrible service from the reception, secretary and doctor. And I have to pay for it. Never again.
Phil: Extremely unhappy. Total Care promise does not cover diagnostics tests they are forcing me to get part way through my treatment. The second half of my surgery was due to go ahead over 2 months ago but they have effectively held the rest of my treatment ransom until I pay for more scans out of my own pocket. The hospital promised me the £4,000 i spent would be a total care plan however this is certainly not the case. Please avoid this hospital at all costs. p.s this wasn’t the only issue, my emails have been ignored for weeks on end and only replied to when emailing the head office!! Adam Howard is the surgeon and Megan Wood is his secretary. Terrible service and I am currently looking elsewhere for another surgeon to finish my treatment. Nightmare experience!!
Ryan O'Sullivan: Had my MRI scan here went OK, was seen very quickly without any problems.
Colin Rose: I was meant to have a hernia operation under a consultant based at Oaks Hospital three months ago. The operation was cancelled due to a discrepancy on my ecg. I have had several tests since and they have all come back as satisfactory. I am still waiting for a date for my op and there seems to be no urgency from the consultant. I am very unhappy with this situation and can't believe that this is the standard of private healthcare.
Samanta Karpinska: Loads of delays…i waited for an hour before I was called in! Me and my partner felt extremely judged from the way the doctor was looking at us and the way he was speaking. The doctor didn’t seem to want to help us and completely dismissed us! Would definitely not recommend!

Venom Hunter: Great staff but shocking after care, had double hernia and just told to go back to my doctors but I think it because the nhs paid I didn’t wouldn’t recommend based on that.
Zoe Magor: My partner had hernia surgery here today. Cannot fault the smooth operation of procedures, or the very helpful efficient staff. Clean, comfortable, and relaxed. The receptionists are also incredibly helpful! Made a very nervous patient and visitor feel more at ease.
Dave Kendall: At first looked very good and the staff were lovely, but when I saw my consultant he turned up 40mins late I was only the "second appointment" he didn't have the time to see me properly and only gave me 7mins to do a quick assessment and then told me to put up it.After that the consultant sent a letter saying I should adapt and how he couldn’t see how my problem would affect me in my life & work. "of which he knew nothing about.Which is why I was in the first place months ago. All in All--- wasted months off work with no pay for nothing."How ever the physio department tried hard and run to time.I am sure they benefit alot of people. "Disappointed is the feeling" regarding the consultant....Added 5 months later still trying to adapt.

I have called them twice and get told by the very blunt people that answer the phone that I just have to wait! Sorry but is this because I am an NHS patient? I have never had to wait this long for results for anything. Not impressed.I would not recommend

Arpit PATEL: Called today to book a private dermatology appointment and got one booked for a month's time. Only to be called back several hours later informing me it would be a video appointment for the same price. The operator should have advised me of this at the start. Inexperienced.
Donna Hunn: The day before my husband's scheduled operation he received a vmail to call the hospital. He did so only to be told that his private operation had been cancelled due to the lack of an anesthetist being available. He was given a new date of 1 week later and told that hopefully the op would be able to go ahead then. Bearing in mind it has taken almost 3 months to get to this point. We are shocked and very unhappy about it.!
Jan Hopkins: I can't phrases the oaks enough. I was looked after so well all the staff were so kind. I had my knee replacement on the 23/5/22. I had never stayed in hospital before they put my mind at rest. Thank you.

Adam Tay: Really poor service from them. My partner contacted Bourn Hall via phone and via email multiple times in order to get test results from past treatment. They had no interest in helping us through this time on the phone and didn't actually bother to ever respond to the emails sent which would have massively helped us. For a fertility clinic, the least you expect is compassion for all patients past and present.
Matt Mcc: We did not a get a good vibe from Bourn Hall and certainly wouldn’t return for treatment. Upon attending a recent open evening, potential clients were handed a 3 page document, pricing all and sundry with zero indication as to what a typical treatment plan might entail or actually cost.This opaque pricing structure makes difficult to compare this clinic with its industry peers.No doubt Bourn will defend this statement but I can assure any reader that other clinics are more upfront.Excellent as their treatment might be, my wife and I were deterred by this lack of transparency.There were zero questions from floor after the presentation which for me reflected a lack of engagement in the room.

matthew wright: Found the receptionist are rude, on the very odd occasions they are not. Then the doctors an nurses try to do there best but appear to struggle with the amount of time they are allocated to the patients. There is no consistency with GPs which makes life hard trying to keep stability with treatment ect which has (person experience) in the past and will in the future cause problems.
Daniel Milner: For someone who represents the NHS, and for somewhere that really should have patients wellbeing first and foremost I can only feel that North Colchester HC do not seem to care. The receipionists when you get through always sound tired and irritated, because they're having to enfoce absolutely ludicrous booking systems that are unfair and unhelpful.For someone who suffers with mental health and has to rely on these "services" to be able to get my routine medication, you make it insanely difficult. What I want, and what a lot of people want isn't hard - it really is simple; yet you make trying to get an appointment like trying to get Wonka's Golden Ticket. Why do we have to gamble with people's health and wellbeing? If you need more GP's, get more GP's. If you need more admin staff, get more admin staff. Don't add hurdles and barriers to access to healthcare, you're damaging the reputation of the NHS.

Alex Mckinney: why do they have a phone number, you can never get through, seriously i have been on hold for over 45 mins ever time i call then i hang up.somebody WILL die waiting to get answered by this G.Ps surgeryFirstly the new parking area, at the barriers there is no sign with the tariffs on not close by and the machine where you put your reg in doesn’t inform you either nor did the buffoon on the intercom when i enquired as to the costing.There were 3 reception staff twiddling there thumbs and I am sure one of them was on her phone putting a bet in the bookies. Get rid of 2 of them and get another gp it took far to long to get our little girl seen as it was quit empty. Very poor service for the money I pay in national insurance contributions.
Ben DOHERTY: The front of house, doctors & nurses are great. But sadly the creffield medical group taking over and changing the opening hours and appointment system have ruined what was a good service.34 days is the closest appointment for available. Even after explaining the seriousness and potentially damaging symptoms.I would say this is a case of poor decision making by people at the top that are clearly out of touch with reality.

Heather is an angel holding my hands during the surgery and calming me down. Dr. Salim is a skillful doctor who made the whole process easier and faster than I'd imagined. Jay Measom: Awful been on the phone since 7am and they not even open. Been waiting 5 days for a repeat prescription that's still not done. I wouldn't mind but I need my meds to function normally and going five days without ain't funny.
