Jay Dee: I have just passed my full bike license today and honestly I don't think I can ever thank James or the staff here for everything they've done for me!As someone who had driven a car for almost 12 years I was very nervous getting on 2 wheels, but I did my CBT with James Nov 2021 and he was very attentive to me during my first time on a geared bike.I started the DAS 3 weeks ago and honestly I came on leaps and bounds due to James' training. I am VERY happy with the training I got from James and the service from the team in general!I cannot, once again, thank them enough! Highly recommend!!!

Kieran Cullen: Brilliant, personable instructors with an endless wealth of knowledge. They got me through all aspects of a full license on the first go. Can’t recommend enough.
Matt graham: Used this training facility from start to finish of my DAS.I have had all the instructors over the series of training days and tests, all are very good and more than just instructors, please consider them for all your training needs.
Will Risk: Had my CBT with Scott today and he was amazing; patient, understanding and friendly.Couldn’t have asked for better instructor. They provided everything needed which was very useful.Highly recommend👍
Md. Moksedur Rahman: If you can't understand properly British accent, better not go there for CBT, they didn’t qualify me for this reason.
jack pugh: Amazing experience and great instructor for the whole time aboard the training.
Kieren Roberts: Excellent experience learning to ride a motorcycle with this traning company. All instructors are patient and really take the time to give you the best advice and tuition. Great place I would highly recommend.
Max Goldring: Did a CBT day course with Scott and was blown away by the quality of teaching, went in worried I wouldn't finish the day and left fully confident in my ability to continue riding. 10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in trying it out, I went on a 125cc manual bike and was led through step by step for everything I'd need to ride around public roads legally and safely. Always felt like I was in good hands throughout the day and could ask anything I wanted without pressure. Thanks for the great day Scott.
Jennifer Whitehair: Did my CBT here last week and it was fantastic. Even in the pouring rain and cold weather I really really enjoyed it. I booked through email with Peter and had Rob for training. Peter was very helpful and efficient over email, and Rob was an excellent trainer - very enthusiastic, a great sense of humour and very knowledgeable. He also makes an awesome cup of coffee which was a saviour in the cold. Would absolutely recommend!
James Day: Was recommended by hythe hill motorcycles my boy loved it and he passed .... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you
Chung Chen: Passed my Mod 2 today.Highly recommended.
Matti Godron: I did my CBT a fortnight ago at Phoenix, and I am very glad I chose them. My instructor for the day was Scott and he was amazing, was beyond patient, explained concepts brilliantly and how they actually apply on road, and was a great teacher. Could not recommend anyone harder to do their tests here, great place!
Robert Smith: Had a great day with Paul today who I met after attending the firebike better biking course. Usual assessment rides around some nice lanes. Unusually we even went over some basic machine skills - it's been many years since somebody put two cones out and said now do a figure of eight - there's two lines, now do a u turn between them. Plenty of useful discussion/debriefs. Good day - recommended. Thank you. About me. I'm over 50 year's old, been riding 30 plus years, and I still learnt something.
Jason Abrams: I had an excellent day on the Advanced Instructor course with Paul. My day started out with (quite) a few errors. Paul was very patient when explaining where I went wrong and how I could improve. Which was then confirmed, as by the end the day, my riding and understanding of certain situations had definitely improved. Definitely a worthwhile (and sometimes humbling) day out riding, with plenty to take away to help make me a safer rider.
Oscar Ottaway: Did my CBT with Rob, best instructor you could ask for, Very helpful and welcoming especially as I was nervous to begin with. Would 100% recommend Phoenix motorcycle training, Will be back again!
agrxsivo: Excellent ! And how patient they are, couldnt ask for more. Great job! Comin in a year time to do my full license
Trevor Catling: Spent the last couple of days with Scott and Rob doing my mod 1 fantastic instructors, very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately I didn't pass my mod1 today. Have already booked up to try again next month. Would recommend these guys to everyone without hesitation.
Jake England: I have recently completed my compulsory basic training (CBT) and Mod 1 and 2 training and tests with Phoenix Motorcycle Training Colchester.Across these five days, I had the privilege of being instructed and supervised by Scott, Rob, and Paul. All are experienced riders and fantastic instructors with personable approaches to their work. They all created a relaxed, light-hearted learning environment that helped alleviate the pressure I (and I am sure many others) put myself under, helping me to pass first time on all counts.I didn’t get to meet Peter but he did organise my training and tests over the phone and email. Again, very polite and professional throughout.I would certainly recommend Phoenix Motorcycle Training Colchester, and a huge thank you to the team.
James: Just had an advanced bike assessment with Paul who was amazing! Very knowledgeable and approachable, willDefinitely be getting some more lessons in the new year! Thanks Paul!
Sam Arnett: Had the privilege of doing my direct access with the team at phoenix and what a journey it was.Having never sat on a bike apart from my CBT, Phoenix took my hand and guided me through large bike conversion all the way to getting my full license.Firstly lets start with the boss man Peter, really accommodating and genuine when you speak with him. Not remotely pushy and very forthcoming.I had lessons with two different instructors in prep for my mod 1 & mod 2.I had 1:1 & mod 2 training sessions with Paul - he has an incredible eye to detail and adjusts as you do. Able to spot mistakes you know your making and help you adjust them as your riding and getting you ready, top bloke and a proper laugh as well very human interaction.I also had the privilege of being taught by Scott for a road ride and my Mod 1 training in the same session, absolute character again great personality, banter and a real human experience. Superb eye for detail and like Paul you can clearly see that these guys love and care about what they do.Also a shout out to Rob did not have the luxury of being taught by this instructor but did have a chat with him during sessions and passing, great personality & I do not doubt he is also a huge credit to the team. Would happily go see the guys just to say hi and show off my first bike once I've got it and the relationship around the guys are like family its great. If your looking for a school in Colchester and just umming and ahhing, I can not recommend the team at Phoenix enough.Take the plunge, ride safe, and see you all out there.
Roxy White: I attended a big bike lesson today with Paul and left so pleased. I'm a female on the short side and they had a lowered 650cc bike that rode amazingly, within minutes Paul had my confidence 100 times more than when I'd arrived and had me completing multiple tasks on the bike that to be honest when I arrived I didn't think I'd be able to achieve. Paul was completely processional and explained any errors in a brilliant way without making me feel stupid and also explaining how to correct them. I've left today on a high and am truly greatful to have found this lovely team. I'd definitely recommend them if your lacking confidence. The whole fleet of bikes looked well cared for.
lawrence bloomfield: I must say that the course was the best learning experience to get you up and running,The instructor was very professional, I learnt so much good and constructive riding skills and mind set of motorcycle handling and vision, lane position in such a short time . It was a great and can’t thank them enough, I hadn’t ridden a bike for 37 years ,FANTASTIC

Ashley Mason: Done my cbt in June 2022 and mod1, mod2 January 2023 with All Bike Motorcycle Training. Steve and Louise were great. We had some tricky weather to train in but that didn't stop Steve training me to a high standard ( nor did it stop him complaining to me how cold he was). Couldn't recommend them enough, thanks for everything!
Tracey Montgomery: Steve and lou have been great Steve is such a great teacher he has helped me with my nerves and has been very supportive I think I havemade a very good friend .as well
Luke: I have Done 3 CBTs in my life these guys where the best by miles. Really easy learning. great instructors
megan nichols: Lovely crew, felt really nervous but they was really reassuring. 100% recommend :)
Madison Larking: excellent day, learnt a lot. highly recommend
Karen Amira: I would not hesitate to recommend All Bikes Motorcycle training to anyone who wishes to learn to ride. Steve is a very patient instructor with a wealth of knowledge. He explains everything very clearly, has a wicked sense of humour, and made learning to ride a lot of fun. He gave me confidence especially going round the country lanes when I tended to be a bit slow on the bends.Just want to add that my first u turn after passing my tests was absolutely perfect, shame no one saw it....A big thank you to Steve & Louise for everything.
Tom b: Did my training for full motorbike test with Steve, awesome training, great instruction. Trained not only to pass the test but also how to ride well and safely, aside from that it was a lot of fun, couldn't praise both Steve and Louise enough. Booking process was easy and all information provided leading up to training and throughout, never felt more confident going into a test.
sue seaman: Happy is an Understatement, I am delighted to have gained my Full A Bike License today with the fantastic guidance and instruction of Steve & Louise at AllBikes Colchester.I was a cautious "mature" rider who so wanted to make my own dreams come true, so I contacted Louise after my first attempt at Mod 1 did not go well. Louise listened and advised an assessment with Steve, and from there I never looked back.Steve taught me so much, not just the skills to pass but to believe in myself. I have to say there weren't many places we did not ride to, for me to gain the confidence and the experience I needed. On the Road he is direct, informative, and firm with you, as one day "god forbid" your life may depend on it.I cannot recommend AllBikes enough whether you are 17 and just starting, or like myself a mature lady who wants to ride before departing.!!Steve your a Super star. x
Agnieszka Chudy: Highly recommended. I've never ridden before so started with CBT back in April and went all the way to the full licence. I was nervous at first but with Steve it was a pleasure. He is very calm, patient and professional instructor. Him and Louise were very encouraging and supportive. They make sure that training is personalised, no pressure, no rush, they go at your pace. Now I'm a confident rider. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you.
Kay Radley: Couldn't have asked for better training, I'm so pleased I came to you! I never rode a bike on the road till my cbt near the end of June and now I'm sitting here with a full bike licence and wished I'd done it years ago. What a fantastic experience. Thank you Steve and Louise, love you guys x
Lian Radley: All bikes motorcycle training were absolutely amazing, great team and Steve's tuition is exactly what you need and above and beyond. My brother and I passed in May and my wife just passed her mod2 on Tuesday with them. We're so thrilled! Thank you so much.
Matt Brogan: Now where do I start my story I see a motorbike on Facebook and bought it without having any riding knowledge or even knowing how motorbike works🤣 so I was recommended All Bikes Training Ltd so I’ve got in touch booked my CBT and I definitely do not recommend wearing full racing leathers on a 125 as all the banter that day was aimed at me because I was far too hot and look like a Power Ranger🤣 but I’ve got through it today and passed my Mod 2 steve and Louise are so friendly and helpful and I recommend to anyone that is doing their training or thinking of doing their training if they have extra lessons available take them because it pays off and it helps you to be a better rider I honestly couldn’t thank these guys enough for getting me through and thank you again
Bikaram Singh: I cannot thank Steve and Louise enough for mentoring me successfully to pass my Mod 1 test and training me for the Mod 2. I had a terrible experience previously with a another riding school last year, but this time I was searching for someone who would actually teach me how to ride a motorcycle and build my confidence along the way. I stumbled across ‘All Bikes’ from other riders and people involved in the motorcycle trade. I made sure I would go to the right people this time.Steve assessed my riding skills during a 2 hour lesson and and booked me in for 2 days for Mod 1 and Mod 2 training. Steve had me ready for the Mod 1 in 2 hours of training exercises and took me on rides around Colchester and Ipswich to get me ready for the Mod 2. I had constant feedback through my earpiece and was continuously learning whilst enjoying the rides.Louise made me feel very welcome from the very first phone call, as I explained my previous experiences on learning to ride and also telling her that being a Turban wearing Sikh, I would like to exercise my exemption to wearing a helmet whilst riding motorcycles. She was very understanding and respected my decision for this and booked my training dates whilst taking away the stress of booking tests. Both Steve and Louise are both really nice individuals and are very passionate about motorcycles and Steve is also a great guy to converse with. He has a tons of experience and also has a great sense of humour which is great for calming the nerves. I strongly recommend ‘All Bikes’ to anyone who is entering the world of motorcycling that is need of expert tuition for becoming a safe and confident rider.***Just to add I had my Mod 2 test booked in today, one week after passing my Mod 1 test. I passed both tests back to back with only 3 days of training with ‘All Bikes’. Thank you once again Steve and Louise.***
Connor Tillyer: All i can say is that steve and louise put a hell of a lot work into me getting up to riding conditions for my test even from him saying at the start i wont put you on that test till i feel comfortable with you to me now passing my module 2 today with only 5 minors all those lessons and extra training truly was worth it and for them to see how differently i ride now they truly do care about you and your safety wanting only the best for those who book lessons
Motorcross -X: Steve is a seriously good instructor, having been to a different school before they have nothing on these guys. After a 2 hour lesson steve managed to correct my riding and i passed 2 days later
Jake Gates: Recently completed my Mod 1 & Mod 2 with All Bikes after doing my CBT with another local company. Lets just say i dodged a bullet by choosing todo my training with All Bikes. Steve soon showed me (10 mins in to my 1st lesson) that i hadn’t learnt anything on my CBT. But with some great training and some tough loving i soon got the nod of approval from Steve and by passing both modules first time with very few minors well that just speaks for itself. Highly recommend All Bikes to anyone great family run business with great communication.
Sam Poston: Steve and Louis are just a great team, and such lovely people, Steve was brilliant helping me get out of my bad habits and I passed my Mod 1 with only 1 minor and then Mod 2 with no minors! If that doesn’t speak wonders for Steve I don’t know what will! Many thanks again Steve and Louis, made a dream come true as I have now been able to get the Bike I want!
Simon W-T: I was very lucky to be referred to All Bike Motorcycle Training by chance whilst buying a helmet, post completing my CBT with another provider, that had left a lot to be desired. In taking one trial lesson with Steve on a 125cc, I knew I could trust him not only to get my DAS training and exams but making me a safe motorcyclist. Which he and Louise with her amazing organisation did within 2months.I cannot recommend them enough, thanks again guys!
Ben Smith: Absolutely fantastic training from Steve.I had no driving experience before I started my A2 license training, and Steve managed to remove any old 125 habits I had, whilst teaching me some solid advice that made me safer on the roads.Managed to pass my MOD 1 and MOD 2 without fail, and with only 2 minor faults on the MOD 2, nearly a clean sheet.Very happy and having a good time riding around on a more powerful bike.
