Alan Huntley: It has been over 40 years since we last moved home and coming from 40 miles away Nicholas Percival as an Estate Agency to buy a property through was entirely unknown to us. We had personal knowledge of the Wakes Hall Lodges and the amazing concept they are which decided us the only new home for us had to be Wakes Colne nothing else would do.We registered our interest in a brand new redevelopment and met Rob Twitchett almost a year ago for the very first time. He has been the epitome of efficiency and we will always be grateful for his professionalism and dedication.In fact, Rob kept our selling estate agent (a National High Street one) and our solicitor on their toes. His assistance no doubt completed our purchase 2 or 3 weeks sooner with his intervention ensuring they were on the ball. During the course of the purchase we also dealt with other staff members and all displayed real professionalism with exceptional standard of service too.For a local agency it is far superior that the national chain one we used to sell.Should we need to move again, which we doubt, we would certainly use the services of Nicholas Percival for both sale and purchase. Jim Betts: Late last year, my elderly mother needed to sell her Essex house as I had arranged for her to move into assisted living close to us in Warks.We invited 3 local estate agents to iscuss the sale and we were most impressed with Darryl's relaxed but professional manner as well as his knowledge of the local market and marketing strategy. His fee was also the lowest so there was no contest!Within 2 weeks, Darryl had set up a fully-booked open day which resulted in several offers at, or above, the asking price!Although the first buyer unfortunately dropped out, Darryl quickly contacted one of the previous viewers who were still interested and the sale was completed several weeks later, Darryl kept us updated throughout and even helped us with collecting and forwarding some papers which had been left in the house by mistake. Excellent service and thoroughly recommended.

gabbie tutton: I rented with Elms price for about 7 years in total. After a few staff changes I had no problems, if I needed something fixed or looked at they were there within 24 hours. I ended a tenancy early due to needing to move and they helped this happen with no issue (obviously landlords decision so doesn't always go this way).They didn't take any of my deposit, didn't even try as I've seen this mentioned in some of the reviews on here and it was back to me when they said it was going to be. If i needed to rent again I would go to them first.

Steven Pennington: This is a very pleasant, well run office complex. It has a cafe and private parking and is situated at the bottom of North Hill so avoids much of Colchester's worst traffic nonsense.

I remember when it was the old Royal London insurance head office and I was surprised how fresh and modern it felt inside considering it's not a new building.Lovely cafe/restaurant on the ground floor with equally lovely and helpful staff. I've a feeling I will be visiting there alot lol.Car park opposite is now private and is for Octagon employees and visitors and has a buzzer system that connects with reception if you don't have a pass. Car park spaces are very narrow but there were plenty of spaces when I visited.

Mart Dawson: It's ok as offices. The linked car park has ridiculously high speed bumps that will rip of anything too low, damaged a previous car of mine.. Can only pay via the app or calling the owners. No coin machines and they will give you a ticket for being just five minutes late. Cafe on the ground floor is mental money. £1.05 can of drink? Go over the road for better value by the bus stop.
Luke Tokley: Brilliant building with lots of different companies all achieving different goals. Fantastically designed and offers a cafeteria for lunch and parking access via an overhead bridge.
