Curzon Colchester: what do users think?

Dolly천유: A very nice movie theatre in town! Just a little bit sad cuz they do not have Kunfu Panda 4 this time. Watched Dune 2 here, very nice sounds and atmosphere!

Steve King: Xlent service as always

Mel C: I will never go to another cinema again if I can help it. I had a lovely glass of wine and pizza before seeing Dune 2. I was a little worried about the timing as I only had about 20 mins until the film started but the lovely lady said to me "oh don't worry you've got plenty of time, this showing has some adverts", which was super thoughtful and helpful. I love the decor and the balcony upstairs is beautiful. The staff are so lovely, I needed to nip to the loo and asked the barman to hold onto my drink which they graciously did. He was so friendly and really put me at ease! The goats cheese and caramelized onion pizza was delicious, thin crust and the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. And the cinema itself feels so comfortable with cosy lighting and the comfy recliner seats are an absolute MUST. I just love popping in here and after this experience, I am really considering a cult membership!

Arlene Adkins: Excellent staff and very interesting films shown. Comfortable seating and clean too! Foyer area where one can wait for friends etc. Refreshments available.

Peter Mcconnell: Nice cinema, clean , tidy, had great service, we sat on the reclining sofa which was nice.

Paul Hardy: Good space to watch a film and seating good for couples but drinks, both alcoholic an

Jenny Robinson: First time visiting this cinema today, not sure why I have never been before as this place is way better than the Odeon, it was cleaner, better prices and better selection of food and drink. The staff were also friendly and helpful which is a real bonus. Will certainly come him to see films in the future.

Sarah Tonks: Comfy cinema, good coffee

Hev S: nice coffee and cookie....comfortable seats....fab film

Sammy: Curzon has a great look and feel, more character than the usual cinemas. Option to get larger “sofa” type seats for 2 people. Food and drink on both levels even has a balcony on the warmer days upstairs.

Hazel Bennett: Cute cozy feel. Staff are always lovely and helpful.

Eleanor Connah: My first time at this lovely little cinema. Buses stop just outside for access. Nicely laid out bar/cafe on the ground floor. Friendly staff on entry. Stairs or lift to upper floors and further bars. Beautifully comfy seats with ability to order food and drinks from your seat. Good clean toilets. Great views from the upper floors.

ODEON Colchester: what do users think?

Stryker: Overpriced food but good experiences

Bailey Finnerty: Friendly staff

james millar: Percent odeon cinema. Obviously food expensive inside but like any cinema and there are places nearby if you want to get snacks or drinks for cheaper. Decent area, center of town where you can get to on buses or by car or walking. Shows all the typical movies and decent seats per screen.

Suzanne Boswick: Only complaints are it's a bit expensive and half hour of adverts before the film starts is a bit much. My grandson was bored and wanted to go before the film started. It should be advertised as doors open at .... and film starts at... Oh and they don't sell crisps 😬Overall friendly staff, comfy seats plenty of room
