Justine Hogan: As a girl who loves her food & enjoys trying out new foods & dishes, it was the turn for Albatta.The menu has lots of lovely dishes to try & the pictures do make the food look mouth watering.As I was wanting to try several dishes we ordered various ones from starters to mains.The food order was placed & delivered very quickly indeed.No complaints here at all.It arrived & upon opening the lids up the food was indeed hot.No complaints here either.We had half a chicken with rice, a mixed platter dish, with hummus, fried potatoes & salad on the side with dips.The food did indeed look as good as the menu pictures showed.So no complaints here.We dived straight in & I had a bit of everything, the hummus was a particular stand out for me, it was simply delicious!The half of chicken was a bit overcooked & too dry for my tastes. The mixed platter dish was a bit hit & miss for me, the sausage shaped kebab again was delicious but the lamb wasn't.Again it could be my particular tastes are different to someone else's.So for me personally this experience was a mixed bag as I thoroughly enjoyed some of the food (as above) but then I didn't like certain things.Would I want to try this food again? Malcolm Moyle: Been ordering from here for 10 years now but tonight was a huge let down. Don't get me wrong, the food is always good, but after waiting for more than 2 hours for my order to arrive, I don't expect to have to reheat my food in the microwave! It ended up being delivered by a taxi more than an hour after I should have had it.If you have too many orders coming in then either restrict the ordering system or manage the customers expectations correctly to avoid disappointment! Very poor service tonight.31/12/2020 - ordered again despite the previous poor service. I completely understand that it's new years eve but I pre ordered for delivery around 8.30 and it is now 10.35 and I am still waiting!!! I even called them at 6pm to confirm my order as I hadn't had confirmation from Uber eats. I have now tried calling more than 40 times, only to get an engaged tone every time. Have ordered from elsewhere and yet again I'm disappointed in kismet for their poor service.

We ordered from here for the first time and saw the google reviews so had high hopes only to be let down.Our Currys were watery and mild but the worst part was we found a long black hair in one of our dishes.When we phoned to tell them they refused money back or to swap the dish they then hung up on us.Would avoid this place at all costs and would not recommend to anyone!

Rabia Malik: Finally went here for lunch a couple of days ago and I can’t wait to go back! I’m not from the Middle East but lived in the region for a while, and the baba ganoush and fattoush took me right back to Abu Dhabi in the best way possible. My very non-vegetarian husband (he’s a big meat eater) had more salad than I’ve ever seen him eat before, and the Hindi kebab he ordered were very flavorful as well, and a generous portion. Best of all, everything tasted very fresh. We chatted with the owner quite a bit afterwards; such a lovely and friendly man, which made the whole experience even nicer!

The friendly person who took my order told me I would have to wait 5 minutes for the falafel wrap as they only served them fresh.It was absolutely delicious and filling too.As a vegetarian I am careful where I go to eat. After 10 years of working in wholefood catering I can sense when a place is any good - and this place was good. I'll be back for sure!

Gary Dimmock: First takeaway ordered from Shemul - have to say it was absolutely outstanding. Arrived before the specified time as well as being piping hot on delivery. Ordered a chicken shashlik which was beautifully cooked with the chicken remaining succulent and full of flavour. The king prawn Madras was probanly the best Madras I've ever had - lovely rich flavour and a nice Madras flavour but not over bearing. Really impressed with how crispy the popadums were as well!! All in all would heartily recommend

Sarah Dixon: Got to start by saying that the food was absolutely delicious.......BUT ....Table booked for 7.30pm .... throughout the whole experience we were rushed.... we were still eating our main course at 8.45pm when the bill was plonked in the middle of our table amongst our bowls of food..... at no point were we asked if we'd like more drinks or anything else. The waiters kept trying to clear our table whilst we were still eating.... they tried to clear away an unfinished bottle of wine and half full glasses. Supposedly open till 10pm on a Saturday but we were being pretty much rushed out the door by 9.15pm.... I can honestly say that I have never felt so rushed and made to feel unwelcome by a restaurant in all my years of eating out. Such a shame as the food was absolutely fab.....Wouldn't risk going again as it spoilt our night out ... we'll go where we are made welcome and feel we can have a relaxed night out.Sorry..... I dont like leaving a negative review but felt I had to share my experience.

Classic being “driver stuck in traffic” we live 10 minutes from the restaurant in the countryside” there is no traffic!!! The food was cold when it arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes lates. Dan Finn: Avoid if you have an allergy. Possibly the worst service I've encountered. Gave a family member milk, when asked they skewered it with my fork an left the contaminated plate until challenged. £3.95 for a coke poured out of a multi-pack bottle. £17.50 for 3 pints. All you can eat buffet is pitiful. I and 64 others on the night will never return, at least they succeeded in that.Having said that, the lady serving/front of house was friendly and helpful.

The usual take away Indian was super busy tonight so we thought we would give The Bengal Diner as I had a code for a free side dish.Well the order arrived on time an was hot. So we were off to a good start. The Korma was okish. The Prawn Sag was nice, the chicken bhriani was terrible. The chicken was very dry and overheated . The rice was bland and the vegetable curry tasted like vegetable soup with lumps in. And in top of this the free side dish did not arrive.We will not be using this take away again.

Barry Howes: Ordered a meal for delivery on 18th June at 6.30..order was confirmed and delivery between 7.15 to 7.35..phoned at 8pm to see were it was..phoned again at 8.15 told it was on its way..arrived at 8.40..no Nan bread with tandori mixed grill..but everything was stone cold..uneatable..very dissapointed..we had previously had lots of deliveries and all were good..had also been to restaurant to see Blues Bros and enjoyed it..but this meal was very bad and did not get an apology

Andrew Faithfull: A well furnished and spacious Nepalese / Indian restaurant.When visited, the service was good and the ordered food arrived at the table promptly.Everyone in our party was happy with the quality of the food which was a mixture of chicken and lamb dishes, rice and naan bread. The draught lager was pleasant as well.

For momos and onion bhaji they just get the frozen one deep fried and serve, its not freshly made,No courtesy of providing steam towel for handle clean. No mouth freshner at the end, no smile on tahe face of staff member.Complete waste of money.

Han Heng Khor: After taking a stroll around the Castle Park, we were still not hungry. As such when we chanced upon Dr Chippy we decided to take 2 Small Portions back to our rental apartment. Both the salmon and cod (plus chips respectively) were fresh & tasty. The kitchen is in front but the dining area was clean and well maintained. We also like the chef's jovial banter with us and another customer.

Ewd Games: We are carers and we took our clients here after going to the cinema.We all ordered, those that were eating fish were offered a mixture of different fish.After ordering, we were given a plate of goodies to snack on while waiting for our dinner.Dinner arrived and it was amazing.We were all offered ice creams (on the house) to finish off our evening.Not our first visit and would defo recommend.
