Well exercised during his stay and we came back from holiday to one happy satisfied doggo!! Good parking facilities onsite too. We will continue to make all our advance bookings with Brightlingsea kennels in future!! Thank you for taking care of our pet with genuine love and affection.

We know they are safe, happy and in excellent hands when we leave them there. Their communication is superb too! We cannot recommend Brightlingsea boarding kennels enough.

Ray Holden: We have been using this family run kennel for many years now, and could not be happier with the way our Labrador is cared for by this lovely family. He is so happy to see them when he gets there, and obviously has a wonderful time in one of the many runs they use to exercise and play with the dogs. I would not consider any other place to look after our pet.

Carol Barnes: Such a lovely, caring family run kennels. My dog is diabetic but that is no problem here, they know how to look after her. They also take photos and will send you updates whilst you are away if you would like. Can thoroughly recommend them.

Shaine W: Unfortunately I can't give higher than a 1 star review because this service won't accept my dog due to her breed type. She is not on any banned lists however this service doesn't have insurance to cover certain breeds but couldn't give a reason as to why when I asked.
Charlotte W: Our Cocker Spaniel loved it at Colchester Canine Creche. The staff are lovely and take such good care of the dogs. I will definitely be bringing my dog back here.
Joanna Bisdee: Blue has been going since he was a puppy. He absolutely loves it and charges out of the car eager to get started. Matt clearly loves the dogs and is very welcoming as well as responsive to any requests/concerns from me as an owner. The dogs have a marvellous and stimulating time and come home ready for a good long rest!! Congratulations to Matt and his team

Lou O'Connell: I’ve been working in Colchester over the summer and brought my boy Spud with me. He’s goes to daycare at home so I searched for somewhere he could go a couple of times a week here. Spud was welcomed with open arms. It is evident that he has had the best time there due to his waggy tail whenever I drop him off and being super sleepy when I pick him up (which is a hard job with a sprocker). Matt is friendly, helpful and flexible. You only have to look at the pics on FB each week to see how much fun all the dogs have. I would highly recommend Colchester Canine Crèche and if I’m back this way again I hope there’s still space for Spud

She absolutely loves it here and nothing tires her like a day at crèche, there are always lots of activities going on, fun and games! They also run little events through the year and your pooch can even win prizes! Matt and the team do an excellent job! Very pleased we found them and would recommend to everyone!

My dog can't wait to get inside each day he goes along, so many activities to do each day along with so many buddies for him to play with! It is a safe, fun and welcoming space where your dogs every need is taken care of. I cant recommend Canine Creche enough!!

Ren Biggins: This is great place to drop off your dog and let them socialise with other temperament tested dogs, safe in the knowledge they are supervised by skilled staff at all times. I don't need to use it from a 'no-one at home in the day' perspective but still use it a few times a month for my dog's development. Holly has been going since being an older puppy and her visits have definitely helped her develop into a more confident dog who now happily runs around with her new friends.
Rebecca Warren: Digby, my dog, is now 6 months old and has been going to creche for a couple of months now, regularly twice or three times a week. When he first started going he was very nervous and had severe separation anxiety, so I was also nervous about ensuring that I could trust someone to look after him and help him to come out of his shell in a different environment and around new people and doggies. He quickly did with the help of the Creche! Colchester Canine Creche have gone above and beyond to make myself and Digby feel comfortable and happy. Digby is now a very confident, little dog and he loves going to creche so much, he does not worry when I leave him and he loves the team and the other doggies! He is also very well socialised and is not nervous when we meet any other dogs in day to day life! When we drive up to creche he gets so excited that he tries to jump out before I have even opened the car door and when he comes home he is very content and tired! Honestly, I could not recommend the creche more, I trust them with Digby, but more importantly he trusts them and I can see that every time I bring him in as he is so excited to come back every time!! Thank you so much for loving Digby as much as I do and looking after him so well!!I should also add that one of my favourite things to do is to look through the photos of Digby and his week at creche at the end of the week - very nice touch and my family love looking at them too!!

Lee Taylor: My pearly went to them last minute was an hour late for collection and made to wait another day to get her bk, when she got home she looked so skinny like she's not eaten a single thing in days, the food they said was breakfast was dry black and hard like its been out for at least 1 day, we will never use them again our pearly is home but not the same quite no energy and not who she normally is.

Robert White: Tried many kennels but my dogs were always stressed out and unhappy until they were at Friars Farm when i picked them up they we're happy and looked good well fed.... they even had a bath amazing kennels.
E E: Friars farm looked after our puppy very very well and listened to every request we had, including making sure he felt comfortable because we said he could be scared. They gave us updates when we called (because we missed him and got worried) and he seemed way more comfortable, think they did an amazing job, would absolutely use them again. :)
Zeenat Muscat: At first look it looks pretty basic but it's clean and our cat seems very happy after his stay. He looks great, seems like he's been groomed often. His bed was a bit if a mess but they offered to wash it so I could collect it but they dropped it off at our home which was a lovely thing to do. I would use this facility again. Reasonable price too.
