Sally: Initially I was hesitant about talking about myself to someone. However, I am so glad that I did. I have gained an inner confidence and the knowledge of how react to situations which in the past would have upset me. I highly recommend the therapists at the Stockwell Centre.
Diesel J: Very caring and professional therapists in a lovely old building. As soon as you walk through the door, you immediately feel at ease.
MUFC & MUSIC: Jacqui was great, appreciate the time and help.Great on the eye too lol
Samved: I made my first inquiry in Mid August. It took 1 month before a therapist answered my original questions in the email. When I realised she didn't offer the treatments I was looking for I asked her to pass my referral back to the co-ordination team. Then it took another 5 weeks to get a response from an administrator. Shockingly poor and very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend.

claire rumble: I was delighted to find Aimee's service and it has been such a relief to give meaning to some of things that my 15 year old daughter finds challenging at school. Aimee is very friendly but professional and carries out an incredibly thorough assessment with excellent communication so you feel reassured throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend her services to any parent who feels their child would benefit from an educational assessment. Her knowledge is excellent and she provides a thorough written assessment with recommendations which also goes to the school. This process has helped my daughter recognise her strengths and enabled her to feel more confident about asking for what she needs in a sometimes daunting environment for teenagers. We can't thank you enough!
Ryan Laker: I took my 15 year old son to see Aimee. Aimee was very good with him, and extremely thorough in her examination. The staff are really nice. I was very please with the report which enabled my son to continue on an EHCP. I would highly recommend her.
kylie wyatt: We sought the services of Aimee as our son has always been behind at school and we felt there was a reason for this.I'm so glad we did. From the first day I contacted Aimee to the very last, she was very responsive and I felt fully informed of the steps and process. The assessment itself was carried out in a such a way that my son enjoyed doing it, so much so he didn't want a break. She made him feel comfortable and at ease, it was so lovely to watch the interaction. After the assessment you have a meeting to discuss the findings and then your provided with the most in-depth report. It really goes into a lot of detail and Aimee takes the time to explain the reports so you fully understand.I finally know what causes my sons struggles and that's such a relief, we have a list of interventions that can help and were working on making things easier for him. All thanks to Swithenbank Psychology.
Kimberley Metson: I contacted Aimee because my son was really struggling at school. Aimee gave me and the teachers at my son's school the tools we needed to provide a more suitable learning environment. Aimee spent several hours with my son, assessing his memory, reading, writing and maths. Aimee diagnosed my son with dyslexia and working memory difficulties. Her report gave the school and I invaluable advice to help with my son's education. She listened to all our concerns. Her report was excellent. Thank you 😊
Katie Kendall: I recommend Aimee for her friendly and professional approach. She is quick to reply to different clients and sets clear boundaries for work. Aimee is thoughtful in the way she organises her work as she is able to identify a goal and communicate effectively to enable groups of people to work together in well defined roles to achieve the shared outcome.Aimee is thorough and thoughtful In her approach. Her reflections about her work with children and adults draw on a broad range of psychological theories and up to date research.
N D: I recently appointed Dr. Aimee Swithenbank to carry out a Tier 2 assessment of my daughter who is aged 10. I was thoroughly impressed with the service, from the point before booking the assessment, right through to the end result. Before booking, I had a telephone call with Aimee to inquire and Aimee listened to all of my concerns, and asked relevant questions and gave me advice on what type of assessment would be best based on what I wanted to find out about my daughter. Once I had arranged the booking, Aimee supplied me with a One page profile to show my daughter which had photos of Aimee, (including her wearing a mask and visor) and a bit about Aimee to make my daughter familiar before the assessment. On the day of the assessment my daughter was very anxious, however Aimee and her colleague Wendy made her feel at ease and were very friendly and calm and they both made the assessment fun. I was not allowed to stay in the room during the assessment, however Aimee kept in contact by text to let me know when the assessment was almost complete. My daughter was fine and happy when she came out.Aimee offered a follow up appointment prior to me receiving the finished report, to explain all her findings and also explain some of the technical terms used in the report, which I found extremely useful. When I received the report within the specified time, it was an excellent, thorough 34 page report that was very detailed and offered lots of information about my daughter’s academic strengths and weaknesses and also her social and emotional state, and it explained so clearly why my daughter had been struggling so much at school.. It gave a lot of detailed suggestions for strategies and ideas for her school to follow to support my daughter, and for myself as a parent to provide my daughter with the level of support she needs. I would thoroughly recommend Swithenbank Psychology for anyone who has concerns about their child, Aimee is very professional.
info 3P: I have worked with Aimee and she is truly dedicated , passionate and committed about her work.
Sam Andrews: Aimee’s warmth, understanding and ethical approach are clearly central in her work. Her psychological knowledge and application ensure that her practice meets the needs of children, young people, families and school settings. I wholeheartedly recommend Swithenbank Psychology.
Maria Allan: Aimee is a true expert in her area of work. She has a wonderful way with children and young people, is efficient, well motivated and has a professional and caring manner. It is a privilege to see the interventions and recommendations she provides to children, families and schools work so well.
Michelle Pritchard: Dr Aimee Swithenbank is someone whom I highly trust and respect and therefore refer all parents who require an Educational Psychologist to her. She is kind, helpful, friendly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. One of a kind, I highly recommend Dr Aimee Swithenbank.
Daniel Henshaw: Not impressed at all.. 800 for 1.5 hours as my child could not manage 3 hours.Apparently because my child read with assistance two 2 letter words she can read and has a reading age of 6! Other 6 year olds read books aloud and fluently. A 3 year old can identify 2 letter words with assistance.Feeling very let down and disappointed. Total waist of time and money.
