Had the carb's cleaned and balanced last year and it's genuinely running the sweetest it's ever done in all the years I've owned it. Family-run business too so always have that personal touch you don't get from the main dealers. Sadly, at our time of visiting, they had no chef and so we were unable to have dinner or the breakfast included in our room rate. The landlady was very apologetic and refunded us the breakfast charge. It's a historic building across at least 4 floors. There is a covered outdoor area at the rear and a car park for two cars. The bedroom was reasonable with a comfy bed, TV and a good shower but was accessed by extraordinarily narrow, steep stairs that was more off-putting than quaint. The whole thing had little style, felt as though it had seen better days and did not feel value for money.

blakey 17: Absolutely atrocious- we got in and didn't even get shown to our seat we got told wear to go, came over to take our order for drinks which came reasonably quickly then took our order for food waited for 45 minutes for the food to come out looking lovely but as all 6 of us went to eat it every single one of then was stone cold the gravy wasn't even warm we called over a waitress and told them it was cold and they asked us what they wanted us to do they finally clocked on it needed warming up we are now waiting for them to come out and its been half and hour to warm up so food and it's still not here. Do not recommend. Just bought a second dinner out and is still freezing cold absolutely horrible!

The atmosphere is modern plush and welcoming.The staff were professional, attentive and well presented willing to cater to our needs.The wine list has a well thought out selection with something to appeal to everyone.Our Table of 4 chose the traditional roast with 3 selecting the lamb done to our preference of medium, which was cooked to perfection, while the remaining dish was a rare roast beef that was also sheer perfection on a plate.The accompanying vegetable dishes and gravy topped off 4 extremely delicious meals of generous proportion and great presentation served by the friendly staff.There are numerous choices on their menu and I would love to return to try them.All in all our dining experience was brilliant and after travelling all the way from the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia, I would have to say it is at the top of our list for dinning that we have had here in the UK.Thank you Restaurant 43 for a beautiful Experience.Parking: Easy parking

Jay Dee: I have just passed my full bike license today and honestly I don't think I can ever thank James or the staff here for everything they've done for me!As someone who had driven a car for almost 12 years I was very nervous getting on 2 wheels, but I did my CBT with James Nov 2021 and he was very attentive to me during my first time on a geared bike.I started the DAS 3 weeks ago and honestly I came on leaps and bounds due to James' training. I am VERY happy with the training I got from James and the service from the team in general!I cannot, once again, thank them enough! Highly recommend!!!

The experience of having a bike custom built to my specification was amazing and knowing I own a bespoke unique bicycle is simply amazing. I had a choice of all the large manufacturers or custom built bike from Interbike, after the initial consultation I knew that these guys wouldn't oversell and would care for my bike. Build wasn't without delay but given current climate of bikes this was out of their control and just made getting the bike at the end even more of a joy.
